Even in the countries where people have traditionally been non vegetarians, we see a handful of them trying to campaign and propagate the values of vegetarianism. While these people are trying to introduce a new culture in their countries, crores of people of our country have already been following vegetarianism for many generations. Instead of leading from the front, we are destroying the cultural values that are prevalent, in the name of ‘reforms’. People bring in their social status into food habits, which is totally unrelated. In the process of bringing about this equality, many animals and birds lose their lives.
