ஆஹாரத்தோடு ஸம்பந்தப்படுபவர்களின் ஸம்பந்தப்பட்ட வியவஸாயி, வியாபாரி ஆகியவர்களின் பரிசுத்தத்தை நாம் கவனிக்க முடியாவிட்டாலும், பண்ணிப் போடுபவர்களின் தன்மையை அவசியம் கவனிக்க வேண்டுமென்றேன். இதனால்தான் ஹோட்டல் கூடாது, ஹாஸ்டல் கூடாது என்கிறேன். அகத்திலுங்கூட தாயாரோ ஸம்ஸாரமோ பண்ணிப் பரிமாறினால் தோஷமில்லை என்று வழக்கமிருந்தாலும், நமக்கு நல்ல ஆத்மாபிவிருத்தி ஏற்பட வேண்டுமானால், சாப்பிடுகிற ஆஹாரம் நன்றாக தெய்வ ஸம்பந்தமுள்ளதாகயிருக்கவேண்டுமாதலால், மற்றவர்கள் எவரும் அப்படி தெய்வ நினைப்போடுதான் சமைத்துப் போடுவர்கள் என்று நிச்சயமாக வைத்துக் கொள்ள முடியாததை முன்னிட்டு, வேறே யாரையும் எதிர் பார்க்காமல் அவருவரும் தன் சாப்பாட்டைத் தானே தயாரித்துச் சாப்பிட வேண்டுமென்று முடிவாக உத்தரவு போடத்தான் இத்தனையும் சொன்னேன். ‘ஸ்வயம் பாகம்’ என்பதாக இதை விசேஷித்துச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறது. இந்த ஸ்வயம்பாகத்தைத் தான் இப்போது முக்யமான topic ஆக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப் போகிறேன். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

We do not know much about the cleanliness of the farmer or the merchant who sells the food products. However it is very important to see the disposition of the person who cooks the food. That is the reason I’m against hotels and hostels. At home it is acceptable for to us to eat the food prepared by our mother or wife. However, in order to elevate ourselves spiritually (Atma Abhivruddhi), the food we eat should be associated with Bhagawan. We cannot be sure if the person who cooked our food had divine thoughts while cooking. Considering all the above factors I’m ordering you to cook food on your own and eat.
