மரம், செடி, கொடி, பயிர் இவையும் ஈசன் குழந்தைகள்தான். அவற்றுக்கும்தான் உயிரும், உணர்ச்சிகளும் இருக்கின்றன. ஜகதீஷ்சந்திர போஸ் முதலியவர்கள் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்களே! அதனால் சாக உணவு என்பதும் ஜீவஹத்திதான்” என்கிறார்கள்.

இதற்கு நான் ஸமாதானம் சொல்லியாக வேண்டும். ஜே.ஸி. போஸுக்கு எத்தனையோ யுகம் முந்தியே வேதாதி சாஸ்திரங்கள் பயிர், பச்சை, மரம், மட்டை எல்லாம் உயிருள்ளவை என்று சொல்லித்தான் வந்திருக்கின்றன. ஆனாலும் ஈஸ்வர நியதியில் நல்லது போலவே கெட்டது, ஸெளக்யம் போலவே கஷ்டம் எல்லாமும் சேர்ந்து சேர்ந்துதான் இருக்கிறது. ‘இன்ஸ்டிங்க்டிவ்’ ஆகவும் [உள்ளுணர்ச்சிப் பிரகாரமும்], தேஹத்தின் இயற்கையான தன்மையைப் பொருத்தும் சிங்கம், புலி முதலான பிராணிகள் ஜீவஹிம்ஸை பண்ணித்தான் ஜீவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஈஸ்வர நியதியே இருக்கிறது. மநுஷ்யன் விஷயத்தில் மாத்திரம் இவன் எதையும் ஆலோசித்துத் தெளிந்து முடிவு எடுக்கும்படியாக அறிவு விசேஷத்தை [ஈசன்] கொடுத்திருக்கிறான். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

Some people are also of this view: ‘Trees, plants and crops are children of Eswara as well. They too have life and emotions. Scientists like Sri Jagadeesh Chandra Bose have confirmed this.  So, vegetarian food also involves killing’.

I have to respond to this. Many yugas before Sri J.C. Bose, our Vedas and Sastras have acknowledged that plants and trees have life. But in Eswara Shristi, not just goodness and joy, but badness and sorrow also exist. Animals like lion, tiger, etc. are destined to kill other animals for their food, both instinctively and based on their body constitution. That is the rule of Eswara.
