One typographical error in my earlier communication. It should be H.H. Sankaravijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and not as mentioned. I also find that this blog refers to our Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal even now as Pudu Periyava. This does not seem to fit in right.
I agree with Shri. R. Balasubramanian, Chennai-59. H.H. Pujyashri Sankaraijendra Saraswathi Swamigal is our Guru, and it is only right to refer to Him as Periyava or Sankarachaaryaswamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam and not in any other manner, please.

HH Swamiji is the Peetathipathi now. It is not fair to refer to Him as Bala Periyava.
To be honest, I always have the confusion. How would you address each of them in one sentence? I really don’t know. Besides old habits die hard..
Now we can refer His Holiness, simply, as ‘Acharya’
