During the Makara(pongal) sankramanam and Karadiar nonbu there were so many whatsapp messages floating with varying time to perform the Pongal panai and the nonbu. I was feeling the need for an authentic information from a source like this. One more item to be included: Avani avittam. Looks the name tells us everything, but there are a few other hidden or debatable situations which decides the date of performance. Request to post some information from authentic sources.
