ஸ்ரீ ரா.கணபதி  கண்ட  மஹாபெரியவா (அவர்  எழுத்திலேயே)

இரண்டாம்  படி

இக் கட்டுரையாசிரியரிடம் ஸ்ரீசரணாள் தமது சரிதம் குறித்து ஏராளமான விவரங்கள் தெரிவித்தருளியிருக்கிறார். “வண்டி வண்டியா சொல்லியிருக்கேன்; ஒங்கிட்ட சொன்ன அளவுக்கு யார்கிட்டயும் சொன்னதில்லே” என்றெல்லாங்கூட அவரே கூறியதுமுண்டு. ஆயினும் இத்தனை சொல்லியும், நிறைவு ஏற்படுத்தாமல் குறைப்படுமாறேதான் வைத்திருந்தார்! ஏனெனில், அவர் கூறிய அத்தனை ‘வண்டி’யும் அவரது புறவாழ்க்கை எனத்தக்க வெளி விஷயங்களாகத்தான் இருந்ததேயன்றி, அதைவிட அனந்தம் மடங்கு பொருள் பொதிந்ததான அக வாழ்க்கை குறித்ததாக இல்லை. அவரது ஆன்மிக வாழ்வில் மிகவும் உயரியதான, மிகவும் அதிசயமான விவரங்களை நாம் எதிர்பார்க்கக்கூடிய கட்டங்களைப் பற்றி அவர் பெரும்பாலும் மௌனமே சாதித்தார். அல்லது உயர்வாக, அதிசயமாக எதுவுமே நடக்கவில்லை என்று கூறி, லேசாகத் தள்ளிக் கொண்டு போய்விட்டார்.

அவரது உன்னத தெய்விகத்தை உணர்ந்த எவராலும் இதை ஏற்க இயலாதுதான்.

பின் ஏன் சத்தியத் திருவுருவான அவர் அவ்வாறு மூடி மறைத்தார்? கலியின் பாதிப்பு முற்றி மானுடமான பாவனங்களுங்கூட மங்கிவரும் இன்றைய உலகின் கண்களுக்கு அந்த தெய்விக பாவனங்களை அவிழ்த்துக் காட்டலாகாது என்பதாலா? அல்லது, அனைவரும் தங்களுக்கு உண்மையில் இல்லாத உயர்வுகளைக் கல்பித்து வெளிக்காட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் இன்றைய உலகுக்கு முற்றிலும் எதிர்வெட்டாக இருந்து, தனது உண்மை உயர்வை ஒளித்து, எளிமையே காட்டிச் சமன் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதால் அவ்வாறு உலக நாயகி திட்டம் செய்ததாலா? இந்த உள் வாழ்க்கை விவரங்கள் ரஹஸ்யமாக இருந்து, வெளி வாழ்க்கை விவரங்கள் மட்டுமே பிரகாசமானலுங்கூட அதுவே மஹா பெரியவாளின் சரிதத்தை மஹா மஹா இதிஹாஸமாகக் காட்டுவதால் அதற்கு மேல் பேராசைப் பட இன்றைய உலகுக்கு உரிமையோ தகுதியோ இல்லை என்று அவள் தீர்ப்புச் செய்ததாலா?

எப்படியாயினும், அச் சரிதத்தில் சுவை செறிந்த உள் விவரங்களை நாம் எதிர்பார்க்கும் இடங்களில் ஏமாற்றமே அடைகிறோம்.

பால ஸ்வாமிநாதனுக்கும் அன்றைய பீடாதிபதிக்கும் ஏற்பட்ட தொடர்பும் அவற்றிலொன்றாகவே உள்ளது. அது அத்யந்தத் தொடர்பு என்பது மட்டும் உறுதியாகத் தெரிகிறதே தவிர அந்த அத்யந்தத்தின் ஆன்மிய அழகு நுணுக்கம் தெரியவரவில்லை.

ஒன்று மட்டும் அதிருஷ்டவசமாகத் தெரிய வந்திருக்கிறது – அக் காலத்து மடத்து முக்யஸ்தர்களில் சிலரும், பண்டிதோத்தமர் சிலரும் பிற்காலத்தில் கூறியதிலிருந்து. அதாவது, அன்றைய பீடாதிபர் ஸ்வாமிநாதனைக் கண்ட மாத்திரத்தில் அவனிடம் ஓர் உயர்வை உணர்ந்திருக்கிறார். பின்னர் அவனிடம் உரையாடியதில் அவனது உள்ளீட்டை நன்கு உறுதி செய்து கொண்டு அவனையே பீடத்தின் அடுத்த வாரிசாக நியமனம் செய்ய வேண்டுமென்றும் தீர்மானித்திருக்கிறார். இத் தீர்மானத்தை அவர் அம் மடத்து முக்யஸ்தர்களிடமும் பண்டிதோத்தமர்களிடமும் வெளிப்படையாகவே கூறியுமிருக்கிறார். பால ஸ்வாமிநாதன் ஒரு மஹா புருஷனாக விளங்குவான் என்ற அளவுக்கு ஸ்பஷ்டமாகத் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார். நேர்ப்பட இவ்வாறு அப் பூர்வாசாரியரின் தீர்மானத்தை அவரே கூறித் தாங்கள் அறிந்ததாக ஸ்ரீமடத்து முக்ய நிர்வாகியான மணக்கால் ஸ்ரீ கந்தஸ்வாமி ஐயர், மஹா வித்வான் திருவிசைநல்லூர் பிரம்மஸ்ரீ வேங்கடஸுப்பா சாஸ்திரிகள் போன்றோர் சான்று பகர்ந்துள்ளனர்.

அத் தீர்மானம் பூர்வாசாரியாருடையதேதானா? அல்லது தெய்வ சங்கற்பத்தையே அவர் அறிந்து அதன்மீது அப்படி தீர்மானித்தாரா? பின்னர் கூறியபடிதான் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

அப்போது சிருங்கேரி ஸ்ரீ மடத்தின் சீர்சால் அதிபர்களாக இருந்த ஸ்ரீசிவாபிநவ நரஸிம்ஹ பாரதி ஸ்வாமிகளே கண்டு கொண்ட நமது ஸ்ரீசரணரின் பெருமையை, அவரை அப்படி ஸ்ரீசரணராக்கிய காஞ்சி ஸ்ரீ மடத்தின்  அதிபர் கண்டு கொள்ளாதிருப்பாரா? கண்டு கொண்டால்தானே பாலன் ஸ்வாமிநாதனை ஸ்ரீ சங்கராசார்ய ஸ்ரீசரணராக அவர் ஆக்கியிருக்கிறார்? அதென்ன சிருங்கேரி ஸமாசாரம் என்று காதைத் தீட்டிக் கொண்டு கேட்கிறீர்களா? அது திருவருள் கூட்டி வைத்து இனி வெளிவரவேண்டிய நூல்களிலொன்றில் விரிவாகவே வரும்.

Maha Periyava As Shri Ra. Ganapathy Anna Saw Him

(In his own words)

STEP 2.

SreeSaranAl  has  revealed to  this  writer (Ra.Ganapathy)  a lot  of  details  about  His life  history.

“I have  given  you  cartloads of  information. I have not  told  others,  as much as  much  I  have  told  you.”—He  used  to  say.  But  in  spite  of  telling  me  so  much,  He  had  kept   my  hunger  for  more  information,  unfulfilled.  This  is  because,  the  ‘cartloads  of  information’  that  He  had  given  me  were  all  concerned  about  His  external  life  only,  and  not  about  the  internal  life (spiritual  life)  which  must  have  been  more  meaningful.  He  always kept  silent  on  the  superior and  more  amazing  matters  concerning  His  spiritual  life.  Or,  He  avoided  them  by  saying  that  ‘nothing  superior  or  amazing  happened’.

No  one  who  is  aware  of  His  superior  Divinity,  can  accept  this.

Why  then,  did  He—the  Epitome  of  Truth—hide those  things?  Is it  because,  in  the  present  times,  when  the  impact  of ‘KALI’  is  increasing  day  by  day,  and  when  the   human concepts are    fast  deteriorating,  those  Divine  concepts  should  not  be  revealed?  Or,  is  it  because   the  ‘Almighty  Shakthi’  planned  to  balance  out  the  present  trend  of  many  who  boast  of  superior  things  which  do not  exist  in  them, by  taking  an  exactly  opposite  position  and  hiding  His  truly  superior  traits,  and  showing  austerity and  simplicity?  Or  is  it  because  She  decided  that   the  present  world  does  not  deserve ,  nor  it  has  a  right  to  be  greedy,  when  these  matters  of  His  external  life  are  themselves  more  than  sufficient,  with  His  spiritual  life   hidden  from  the  world,  to  make  His  history  a  very  great  epic?

However,  when  we  expect  to  know about  the  interesting  matters  of  His  spiritual  life  history,  we meet  only  with  great  disappointment.

The  communication  between  ‘child’  Swaminathan  and the  then  PeetAthipathi  is  one  such  thing.  While  we  know  that  it  was  a  very  very  close  relationship,  we  are  not  aware  of  the  precise  spiritual  beauty  of  that  close  relationship.

But  we  know  at  least  one  fact,  from  some  of  those important persons and learned men of those days, who have revealed some aspects (of the meetings). That the moment the PeetAthipathi at that time, had sighted Swaminathan, He had realized some greatness in him. While speaking with him He had reconfirmed the nature of his inner self and decided to make him the next heir apparent of the Peetam. He had also told those important and learned persons of that day openly about his decision. He had very distinctively informed them that ‘child’ Swaminathan would become to shine as a great soul. People such as The chief administrator of the Sreematam Manakkal Sri Kandhaswamy Iyer, and great VidhvAn Thiruvisainaloor Brahmasree VenkatasubbA  Sastrikal, have vouched for having been directly and personally told about this decision by the erstwhile Acharyar.

Was this decision solely that of the erstwhile Acharya? Or, was it that He understood the Divine ordination and acted upon it? It must have been the latter.

Sri SivAbinava Narasimha Bharathi Swamikal who  was the then PeetAthipathi of Srungeri SriMatam had Himself realized the greatness of Sree SaranAl; Is it any surprise that the Peetathipathi of Kanchi Matam, who decided to make him the next heir apparent, would not have  realized the same? Because He had realized the fact only, He had made ‘child’ Swaminathan, the Sankaracharya Sri Sarnar. You are eager to know about the ‘Srungeri  matter’, aren’t you? Well, we will read about it elaborately in some  later books that  are to come!.
