Don’t Miss: Sri Periyava’s Final Thirumuga & Thirumeni Darshan

Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara,

Just want to let all devotees know that the crowd as well as the traffic at Kanchipuram is not horrible as it is made out to be by the media. In fact, till 5 PM today evening, the traffic was very moderate all the way to Kanchipuram and inside. Though the crowd kept thronging Sri Matam it was consistent and I couldn’t find anyone outside Sri Matam waiting in lines. The waiting line for Sri Periyava’s darshan starts in the Sri Matam side entrance and it moves rapidly. It takes around 30 mins to have HH Thirumuga and Thirumeni darisanam one final time. Maha Periyava’s Adishtanam is closed. There are enough security men and volunteers in place so the queue is well managed and organized. Cars are not allowed in the Sri Matam road so one has to park their vehicle near the Kamakshi Amman temple roads, either walk to Sri Matam or take an auto. It takes a couple of mins by auto and 8 mins by walk.

I wanted to post this for the benefit of the devotees who are in Chennai  and around but contemplating on the above factors. Sri Periyava Thiruvadigale Charanam!
