மற்ற மதாசாரங்கள், ஸ்தாபனங்களின் சட்ட திட்டங்கள் சிலரால் உத்தேசிக்கப்பட்டு, ப்ளான் பண்ணிப் போட்டவை. அதுதான் தார் ரோடு மாதிரி நன்றாயிருக்கிறது என்று தோன்றலாம். ‘அதிலேதான் வேகமாக கார் ஸவாரி முடிகிறது, உம்முடைய ஒற்றையடிப் பாதையில் முடியுமா?’ என்று கேட்கலாம். ஆனால் நன்றாயிருக்கிற அதற்குத்தான் வருஷா வருஷம் ரிப்பேர் பார்த்தாக வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. இல்லாவிட்டால் குண்டும் குழியும் விழுகிறது. ஒற்றையடிப் பாதையோ ரிப்பேராகிக் கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்களா? ஜனங்கள் நடக்க நடக்கத் தார் ரோட் தேய்கிறது என்றால், ஒற்றையடிப் பாதையோ அவர்கள் நடக்க நடக்க இன்னம் உறுதியாகவும் பளிச்சென்றும் ஆகிறது. அதாவது ஜனங்கள் வாழ்ந்து காட்டும்போது, எவரோ சிலர் ‘ப்ளான்’ பண்ணினதாக உள்ள வழிமுறைகள் அதற்கு ஈடு கொடுக்க முடியாமல் நசித்துப் போகின்றன. இப்படித்தான் பழங்கால கிரேக்கர் மதம், ஹீப்ரு மதம், கன்ஃபூஷியஸ் மதமெல்லாம் எடுபட்டுப் போய்விட்டன. ஆனால் நம்முடைய சாஸ்திர ஆசரணைகளோ வழி வழியாக ஜனங்கள் அநுஷ்டிக்க அநுஷ்டிக்க மேலும் மேலும் பிரகாசம் பெற்றிருக்கின்றன. கார் ஸவாரி மாதிரி இங்கே சேரவேண்டிய இடத்துக்கு வேகமாகப் போய்ச் சேர முடியாமலிருக்கலாம்; நின்று நிதானமாக, படிப்படியாகத்தான் ‘எவல்யூஷன்’ ஆகி goal வரும்; ஆனால் நிச்சயமாக வரும். தார் ரோடில் போகிற கார் வேகமாகப் போனாலும் goal-ஐ அடையுமா என்பதே ஸந்தேகம். வேகமாகப் போவதாலேயே அதற்கு விபத்து வந்துவிடுகிறது. அதோடு கூட ரோடும் குண்டு குழி விழுந்து ரிப்பேராகிறது! ரோட் இப்படி ஆவதால் கார் ஸவாரியிலும் பெரிய ஆபத்துக்கே இடமிருக்கிறது. ஒற்றையடிப் பாதையில் ஒரு நாளும் ஆக்ஸிடென்ட் ஏற்படாது.  – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

The rules of other religions and other establishments have been made by certain people after some planning. One might feel that they are good like the tar roads. The question may arise ‘We can drive fast on that road. Can we do so on your mud track?’ But that road needs repair every year. Otherwise it develops pot holes. Have you ever heard a mud track needing repair? A tar road gets worn out with constant movement of people, but a mud track gets firmer and brighter as more and more people walk on it. When people try to follow rules set by others, they are not able to put up with the rigidity and degradation sets in. This is how the ancient religions of Greeks, Hebrews, and Confucius disappeared. But the practices of our sastras got brighter as people continued to follow them. This may not be like the car ride which reaches the destination faster. Here, the goal will be achieved slowly, with constant ‘evolution’. It is doubtful whether a car that moves on a tar road will reach its goal. If it travels fast, it may meet with an accident.
