This song, and perhaps another 200 or more songs have been penned by Smt Visalakshi Natarajan, a great devotee of Mahaperiyava. Smt Visalakshi is also the sister-in-law of Sri Sathur A G Subrahmanya Iyer -AGS mama ), who was Asthana Vidwan of our Sree mattham and also former principal of Music College, Annamalai University. The Guru Pada Samarpanam – 2 albums -(mentioned above by Sri Prasad) are all kritis of Smt Visalakshi sung by AGS’s daughters.
