காருண்யக் கடல்

எங்கும் நிறைந்த பரப்பிரம்ம சொரூபமான சாட்சாத் சர்வேஸ்வரரே ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் திரு அவதாரம் கொண்டு உலகம் உய்ய பிரம்மரிஷி சுகப்பிரம்மரின் மேன்மையோடு நம்ம்மில் ஒருவராய் அருள்பாலித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

வேதநாயகனாய் தன் திரு அவதாரத்தில் வேதங்கள் அழியாமல் அவைகளை பரிபாலனம் செய்தும் வேதியர்களுக்குத் தக்க மரியாதைகளோடு அவர்களின் மேன்மைக்கு யாவரும் உறுதுணையாய் இருக்குமாறு அருள் கட்டளையிடுவதும் தன் அருட்பணிகளில் முதல் இடமாய்க் கொண்டு உலகோருக்கும் அவ்வழி காட்டியுள்ளார் மகான்.

வேதம் பயிலும் பாலகர் மீது ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் தாயுள்ளம் கொண்ட கருணைத் தெய்வத்திற்கு ஒரு அலாதி பிரியம். சிறுவர்கள் பந்த பாசங்களை விட்டுவிட்டு அந்த வயதில் வேதம் பயிலும் கடினத்தில் ஈடுபட்டிருப்பதை யாவருக்கும் எடுத்துச் சொல்லி அக்குழந்தைகளுக்கு வாய்க்கு ருசியாக எதையாவது யாரோ ஒரு பக்தரோ பக்தையோ கொண்டுவந்து கொடுக்கும் போது அந்த பக்தருக்கு கட்டாயம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் பிரத்யேக அனுக்ரஹம் கிட்டும். ஸ்ரீ மடத்தில் தனக்காக சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படுவதைவிட பாடசாலை சிறுவர்களுக்கு முறுக்கு, சீடை, சோமாசு போன்றவைகளை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஒரு பக்தர் வந்துவிட்டால் தயாநிதிக்குப் பரமசந்தோஷம்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட காருண்யத்தை வேதபாடசாலை குழந்தைகளிடம் பொழிந்த ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாள் அன்று ஏனோ இதே போன்ற சிறுவர்களின்மீது அசாத்திய சினம் கொண்டார்.

அது திருவானைக்காவலில் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா முகாமிட்டிருந்த  சமயம். தஞ்சாவூருக்கும் திருச்சிக்கும் நடுவே ஒரு கோயிலில் திருப்பணி முடிந்து கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடந்த சமயம். திருவானைக்காவல் பாடசாலையில் பயிலும் குழந்தைகள் அங்கு சென்று வேதபாராயணம் செய்ய ஸ்ரீபெரியவா அக்கோயிலுக்குச் செல்லும்போது கூடவே போவார்கள். சிறுபிராயமாதலால் சிறுவர்கள் கல்மிஷமின்றி எதையாவது பேசிக் கொண்டே பெரியவாளின் பின்னால் நடப்பார்கள்.

இப்படி ஒருநாள் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா முன்செல்ல பிள்ளைகள் தொடர்ந்து சென்றனர். சட்டென்று ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா நின்றார். குழந்தைகளிடம் திரும்பினார். உடனே ருத்ரமூர்த்தியாய் மகானின் முகம் சிவந்தது. பின்னே வந்த சிறுவர்களைப் பற்றி யாரோ அவதூறாக ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் சொல்லியிருப்பார்களோ எனத் தோன்றியது. மகானின் வாக்கு மிகக் கடினமாக வெளிப்பட்டது. இரக்கமும் கருணையும் தோய்ந்து எப்போதும் மென்மையாக வார்த்தைகள் வெளிப்படும் திருநாக்கிலிருந்து அன்று யாரும் எதிர்ப்பார்க்காத வசவுகள் போலான வார்த்தைகள் வந்து விழுந்தன. இப்படிப்பட்ட வசை மொழிகளை யாரிடமும் பொழியாத மகான் வேதபாட சாலை சிறார்களின் மேல் இப்படிக் கொட்டித் தீர்த்தத்தை அங்கு கூடியிருந்தவர்களால் நம்பக்கூட முடியவில்லை.

ஈஸ்வரரின் இப்படிப்பட்ட எதிர்மறையான செயலுக்கும் ஏதோ ஒரு அர்த்தமும்  நோக்கமும் கட்டாயம் இருந்தே ஆக வேண்டுமென்று மட்டும் அங்கிருந்தோருக்குப் புரிந்திருக்கலாம்.

தீடீரென்று எதிர்ப்பாரத இந்தத் தாக்குதலை வேதபாடசாலை குழந்தைகளால் நிச்சயம் தாங்கிக் கொள்ள முடிந்திருக்காது தான்.

அன்று இரவு.

மாலை மதியமும் வீசு தென்றலுமாக ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா சாந்த சொரூபியாக வீற்றிருக்க, கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடக்கும் கோயிலிலிருந்து பிரசாதங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் சமர்ப்பித்தனர்.

அவற்றை ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ‘பாடசாலை குழந்தைகள் வந்தாளா?” என்று அவர்களை வினவினார்.

“குழந்தையெல்லாம் தினமும் வரமாதிரி வந்தா. ஆனா யார் முகத்திலும் சாந்தமில்லாததுபோல வித்தியாசமாத் தெரிந்தது. அப்புறம் யாரும் ஆகாரம்கூட சரியா சாப்பிடலே. இதை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா காதிலே போடணும்னு நாங்களே நினைச்சோம் .பெரியவாளே கேட்டு சொல்லும்படி ஆயிடுத்து” என்ற பதில் வந்தது.

உடனே இதற்காகவே கருணையுள்ளம் ஏங்கிக் காத்திருந்ததுபோல ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் முகத்தில் விசனம் பரவியது. உடனே போய் அவாளைக் கூட்டுண்டு வா என்று மடத்து சிப்பந்திகளிடம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கட்டளையிட்டார்.

எல்லா பசங்களும் தூங்கி நேரமாச்சே என்றபடி சிப்பந்தி உள்ளே சென்றார். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் கட்டளையை மீற முடியாமல் குழந்தைகளை ஒவ்வொருவராகத் தட்டித் தட்டி எழுப்பினார். காலையில் நடந்த சம்பவத்தால் மனம் தளர்ந்து தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்த சிறுவர்கள் என்னவோ ஏதோ என்று எழுந்துக் கொண்டனர்.

அவர்களை ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹபெரியவாளின் முன்னால் கொண்டு நிறுத்தினர்.

அப்போது அங்கிருந்தோர் பார்த்த அதிசயம் அவர்களை மெய்சிலிரிக்க வைத்தது.

தயாநிதி, தயாசிந்து, கருணக்கடல், காருண்யத் தெய்வம் என்றெல்லாம் வர்ணிக்கப்படும் தாயுமானவரான ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹபெரியவா அதன் மொத்த சொரூபத்தைக் காட்டுபவராக ஒவ்வொரு பாலகனையும் தன் முன் அழைத்தார்.

“நான் கார்த்தாலே சொன்னது எல்லாம் மறந்துடுங்கோ. அது ஒண்ணுமே பலிக்கவே பலிக்காது. நீங்க ஒவ்வொருத்தரும் சகல சௌபாக்யத்தோட…… நல்ல புகழோட இருக்கப்போறீங்க”.

இப்படித் தன் திருவாக்கால் வாய்நிறைய அவர்களை ஒவ்வொருவராய் அழைத்து அப்படிபட்டதொரு அருள்மழையால் அவர்களை மகிழ்வித்தனுப்பினார்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட பெரும்பாக்யம் கிடைக்கபெற்றதில் அந்த பாலகர்கள் மனத்தில் நிம்மதியும், சந்தோஷமும் குடி கொண்டதைப் பார்த்து ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளுக்கும் பரம திருப்தி ஏற்பட்டது.

இப்படி ஒரு விசேஷ அனுக்ரஹம் பெற்ற அத்தனை பாலகர்களும் வெகு சிறப்பான புகழும், மேன்மையும் கூடிய நல்வாழ்வு பெறப்போவது நிச்சயம் என்பதை அந்த சிறுவர்களில் ஒருவரான பிரம்மஸ்ரீ முசிறி தீட்சதர் அவர்களின் உயரிய, உன்னத வாழ்க்கையே நமக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டாக மெய்பித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பதைப் பார்க்கிறோம்.

உங்கள் வீட்டுக்கு மிருத்யு வரமாட்டான்

நெரூர் சதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திரர் அதிஷ்டானத்திற்கு ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹபெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்குச் சென்றிருந்தார். சதாசிவ பிரம்மேந்திரரிடம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு பக்தியும், மரியாதையும் அதிகமுண்டு. அவரது அதிஷ்டானத்தில் ஜபம் செய்ய ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா உட்கார்ந்து விட்டார்.

அதிஷ்டான அன்பர்களும், ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுடன் வந்த ஸ்ரீமடத்து சிப்பந்திகளும் அச்சமயம் சற்று விலகியே நின்றிருந்தனர். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அதிஷ்டான்ங்களுக்குள் சென்று ஜபம் செய்வதையோ சன்னியாச முறைப்படி வணங்குவதையோ யாரும் பார்க்கலாகாது என்பது நடைமுறை. மானுட எல்லைக்களுக்கு அப்பாலான அந்த அனுபவங்களைப் பார்த்து அந்த அபார சக்திகளை ஏற்றுத் தாங்கிக் கொள்ளும் நிலை ஒரு சாதாரண பக்தருக்கு இருக்க வாய்பில்லையாதலால் அச்சமயங்களில் பக்தரின் நன்மையை முன்னிட்டு கதவை சார்த்திவிடுவார்கள்.

அப்படித்தான் அன்றும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா உள்ளேயிருக்க அதிஷ்டானக் கதவு மூடப்பட்டிருந்தது. அந்த சமயம் ரங்கசாமி என்ற பக்தர் ஓடிவந்தார்.

பெரியவாளை உடனே தரிசனம் பண்ணனும், பிரசாதம் வாங்கிண்டு உடனே புறப்படணும் என்று வந்த வேகத்தில் அவசரப்பட்டார்.

“சுவாமி! பெரியவா கதவை சாத்திண்டு உள்ளே இருக்கா. அத்தனை அவசரமா பார்க்க முடியாது. அவாளா தியானம் முடிந்து வெளியே வந்தாத்தான் தரிசனம்”— அங்கே கைங்கர்யம் செய்பவர்கள் ரங்கசாமியிடம் கூறினர்.

அதைக்கேட்டு அதற்கேற்றார்ப்போல நடந்து கொள்பவர்போல ரங்கசாமி காணப்பட்டார். ஆனாலும் தன் சாதுர்யமான பேச்சுவல்லமையால் அங்கிருந்தோரிடம் பேசிக்கொண்டே இருந்துவிட்டு வெகு சாமர்த்தியமாக எல்லோரும் அசந்திருந்த சமயம் கதவைத் திறந்து கொண்டு உள்ளே நுழைந்துவிட்டார்.

இப்படி தடாலடியாக பக்தர் நுழைந்து விடுவார் என்பதை எதிர்பார்க்காத சிப்பந்திகள் செய்வதறியாது குழம்பிநின்றனர்.

அந்த நிசப்த சூழ்நிலையில் அதிஷ்டானத்தின் உள்ளேயிருந்து ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் குரல் கம்பீரத்துடன் வெகு சப்தமாகக் கேட்டது.

“நீங்கள் மிருத்யுஞ்ஜய ஜப ஹோமம் செய்ய வேண்டாம். உங்க வீட்டுக்கு மிருத்யு வரமாட்டான். திரும்பிப் போங்கள்” என்று ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளின் உரத்தகுரலில் அவரிடம் சொல்வதை அங்கிருந்தோர் அனைவரும் கேட்டனர்.

அந்த அன்பர் கதவைத் திறந்து மூடிவிட்டு வெளியே வந்தார். ஒரு கைங்கர்யம் செய்பவர் ஆவலில் அவரைக் கேட்டார். அதற்கு ரங்கசாமி ஒரு கதையே சொன்னார்.

அவருடைய நெருங்கிய உறவினருக்குத் திடீரென்று நெஞ்சுவலி ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. பரிசோதனை செய்த டாக்டர்கள் நாற்பத்தெட்டு மணி நேரம் போனால் தான் உறுதியாகச் சொல்லமுடியும் என்று கூறிவிட்டனராம். ஜோசியர் ஒருவர் உடனே மிருத்யுஞ்ஜய ஹோமம் செய்யுங்கள் என்றிருக்கிறார். உடனே போய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் பிரசாதம் வாங்கிவந்தால் எல்லாம் சரியாகிவிடும் என ஒரு பக்தர் கூறியுள்ளார்.

அங்கேயிருந்த வயதான மூதாட்டி பெரியவா இதோ பக்கத்திலேயே இருக்கா. அவர்கிட்டே போய் முறையிடச் சொல்லுங்கோ அவா பார்த்துப்பா என்று சொல்ல அந்த உறவினருக்கு உதவ ரங்கசாமி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் ஓடி வந்திருந்தார்.

பிறர்நலனை உத்தேசித்து வேண்டவந்திருந்த ரங்கசாமிக்கு அந்த தெய்வமே ஜபஹோமம் வேண்டாம் எல்லாம் சரியாகிவிடும் அன்று அருள்வாக்காய்ப் பொழிந்துள்ளார்.

ரங்கசாமி அத்தனை அனுக்ரஹம் பெற்று திரும்பி சென்றபோது, அந்த நாற்பத்தெட்டு மணி கெடு வைக்கப்பட்ட உறவினர் நன்றாக எழுந்து உட்கார்ந்து புன்முறுவலித்தபடி ரங்கசாமியை வரவேற்றாராம்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட அனுக்ரஹதெய்வத்தை நாம் சரணடைந்தால் நம்கெல்லாம் அந்த காருண்யரின் அருளால் சகல சௌபாக்யங்களும் , சகல ஐஸ்வர்யங்களும், சர்வ மங்களங்களும் வந்தடையும்.

ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளின் மீளா அடிமையான அற்புத நாயன்மார்( தொடர்ச்சி)

ஒரு விஸ்வரூப தரிசனத்தின்போது பிரம்மஸ்ரீ பிரதோஷம் மாமா ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளின் வாக்கைக் கேட்கநேர்ந்தது. “கார்த்தாலே இவாளையெல்லாம் நான் நினைச்சுக்கணும். அதிலே இவர் (பிரதோஷம் மாமா) மாசாமாசம் எனக்குன்னு ஹோமம் பண்ணி பிரசாதம் சேர்க்கிறார். காசியிலே சுந்தராம்பான்னு இன்னொரு பக்தை இப்படி பண்றா…….. அப்புறம் மேலூர் ராமசந்திரய்யர்…… இவர் நித்ய ஹோமம் பண்ணி எனக்கு பிரசாதம் சேர்க்கிறார். இவாளெல்லாம் புண்ணியவான்கள்…….அதனாலே காலங்காத்தாலே இவாளையெல்லாம் நினைச்சுக்கணும்.”

இப்படி ஒரு அரியவாக்கினை பிரதோஷம் மாமா கேட்க நேர்ந்தது. யாருக்கும் கிடைக்காத எப்பேற்ப்பட்ட பாக்யமிது. தெய்வத்தை சதாசர்வகாலமும் நாம் நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பதே பூர்வஜென்ம பலனால் மட்டுமே வெகு சிலருக்கு கிடைக்கும் பேறாகும். அப்படியிருக்க நடமாடும் தெய்வமாம் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா தன் திருவாக்கினால் இவாளெல்லாம் புண்ணிவான்கள். இவர்களைதான் நினைச்சுக்கணும் என்று அந்த பக்தரின் எதிரிலேயே அந்த தெய்வமே அருளுவதென்றால் அது எப்பேற்ப்பட்டதொரு பாக்யம்?

பிரதோஷம்  மாமாவின் மனம் நன்றிப் பெருக்கோடு நினைத்தது. நித்யஹோமம் செய்வருடன் தன்னை ஒப்பிட்டு மகான் குறிப்பிட்டதில் தானும் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹபெரியவாளுக்கு நித்யஹோமம் செய்ய வேணும் என்பதாக அந்த நாயன்மாரின் மனதில் ஸ்புரிப்பு உண்டானது.

தான் சதா சர்வகாலமும் நினைப்பில் வைத்துக்கொண்டுள்ள தெய்வத்திற்கு நித்யஹோமம் செய்யும் பெரும் பாக்யமும் பிரம்மஸ்ரீ பிரதோஷம் மாமாவிற்கு இந்த அருள்வாக்கினால் கிட்டியது.

Shri Shri Shri Mahaperiyavaal Mahimai (4-9-2011)

“Ocean of kindness”

Shri Mahaperiyava, who is the avatar of Shri Adi Shankara, due to His kindness, to bless all the people, like a Sugabrahma Rishi Saint, took avatar as Shri Shri Shri Mahaperiyava, walked this earth and blessed us. Periyava had considered it His primary goal to protect and save the Vedas and also to help the learned ones, who recite Vedas and also requesting everyone to contribute to this noble cause.

Periyava had a special kindness for kids who learn Vedas, because those kids leave their near and dear ones and lead a strict and tough lifestyle. If Periyava comes to know of any devotee who helps in getting a tasty meal for these kids, those devotees will get special blessings. Periyava will be more delighted to see devotees offering treats like murukku, seedai and somasi to those kids rather than offering something to Srimatam.

But on that particular day, Periyava was upset with those kids.

Periyava was camping at Thiruvanaikaval during those days. Kumbabishekam was being performed in a temple that was between Thanjavur and Trichy and Periyava had instructed the students at Thiruvanaikaval Veda Patasala to go there for Veda recital. The kids used to accompany Periyava daily. They used to talk among themselves and walk behind Him.

On that day, as Periyava was walking, the kids were walking and following Him as usual. Suddenly He stopped, turned back and looked at the kids with a red face. It looked like somebody had complained about the kids to Periyava. Periyava started to talk harshly. All the devotees were surprised to hear from Periyava. They were confused as to why Periyava was using those harsh words on these kids. They might have thought that there should be some reason behind those harsh words. The kids also would not have expected that from Periyava and would have felt bad.

That night, Periyava was sitting with His usual calmness. The Kumbabishekam prasadam from the temple was being brought to Him. Periyava enquired, “Did the Veda Patasala kids come?” They answered that the kids had come but were not their usual self. They also said that the kids did not eat properly. Periyava had enquired about the kids Himself, before they could tell what had happened that day.

On hearing this, Periyava immediately asked the kids to be brought there. The kids had already slept, but since it was Periyava’s request, they woke all the kids who were sleeping and brought them before Periyava.

Everyone there were surprised to see the events that happened after that. Periyava asked the kids to forget whatever He had told them that morning. He also said that none of the things that He had said in the morning will occur. He blessed all the kids that they will be happy and prosperous throughout their entire life. It is true that all those kids had lived a happy and peaceful life. This is also proved by Brahmashree Musiri Deekshithar, who was one of the kids.

Death will not visit your house

Periyava had gone for darshan to Nerur Sadashiva Brahmendirar Adishtanam. Periyava had a lot of respect and devotion towards Sadashiva Brahmendirar and He started to meditate at the Adishtanam.

The devotees working at the Adishtanam and the Srimatam employees who had accompanied Periyava were standing at a distance. This was because, the common people are not supposed to witness the japam performed by Periyava and they cannot handle the interaction between two saints. They had closed the Adishtanam door, so that Periyava could meditate in isolation.

A devotee called Rangaswamy came for Periyava’s darshan at that time. He wanted to have Periyava’s darshan immediately as he was leaving the town. Rangaswamy acted as though he was listening to them, but suddenly when nobody noticed, he opened the door and stepped in.

Everyone there did not know what needs to be done. As silence prevailed there, suddenly the majestic voice of Periyava echoed. Everybody heard Periyava saying to Rangaswamy, that there is no need to do Mrityunjaya homam and Mrityu (death) will not come to your house. Rangaswamy closed the door now and came outside. One of the devotee outside asked the details and Rangaswamy started telling a story.

One of his close relative suffered from a heart attack and the doctor had given them 48 hours to conclude anything. One of the astrologers known to them had suggested to do Mrityunjaya homam. Another devotee had asked them to get the blessings from Periyava for everything to be alright again. An old lady who was standing nearby had informed them that Periyava was in Nerur and asked them to go for the darshan immediately. Rangaswamy had come there for Periyava’s darshan to help his relative get cured soon. Periyava had blessed him and also told him that the Mrityunjaya homam is not necessary now.

It was not a surprise that when Rangaswamy went back, his relative was awake, smiling and welcomed him.

Let us all pray and surrender at the feet of Periyava and be blessed with happiness, prosperity and peace.

Once during the Vishwaroopa darshan of Periyava, Pradosham Mama heard Periyava talking. We need to remember them in the morning. We need to remember him (Pradosham Mama) for doing Pooja every month and bringing the prasadam. There is another devotee in Kasi called Sundarambaal who also does the same every month. Then we have Melur Ramachandra Iyer, who does Nithyahomam and brings the prasadam. So we need to think of them in the morning.

Pradosham Mama was blessed to hear these words from Periyava. For most of the people, just to think of God is due to the good karmas done in the previous birth. Then, imagine how blessed Pradosham Mama should be to hear that Sarveshwaran Himself says that He thinks about them daily in the morning?

Pradosham Mama was very happy to be noted along with Melur Ramachandra Iyer, who does Nithyahomam. Pradosham Mama also wanted to start doing the Nithyahomam. This incident helped Brahmashree Pradosham Mama to start performing Nithyahomam.

Grace will continues to grow.
