‘Aacharath dhanam akshayyam’ – ‘Abundant wealth’ need not be interpreted as having a lot of money. Can one be considered wealthy just because his income is very high? We see rich people going in the wrong path! We see people earning very well but caught in debts, overdrafts, etc.! Some of the rich spoil their health and ruin their life because of habits like drinking and horse racing. So prosperity does not mean just abundant income. Prosperity is controlling the expenses so that they remain within the income.
