ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளின் மகிமை (18-8-2010)

ஒரு சுகப்பிரம்மரிஷி அவர்களின் மேன்மை நிலையில் இருந்து கொண்டு ஒரு எளிய பக்தரும் அணுகி அனுக்ரஹம் அடையும் தன்னைத் தாழ்மையாக்கிக் கொண்ட தயாள குணம்தான் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளை ஈஸ்வர அவதாரமாக எடுத்துக் காட்டுகிறது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பக்திக்கு ஆலமரமாகி  விழுதுகளாய் அப்பக்தியினைப் பரவிடச் செய்து தன் அருளாசியினை பிரம்மஸ்ரீ பிரதோஷ சிவநாயன்மாரெனும் பிரதோஷ மாமா இன்றளவும் அனைவருக்கும் உரித்தாக்கி அருளிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

இப்பேற்பட்டப் புண்ணியருக்கு பிறந்திட்ட இரண்டு குமார்களையும் ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் தெய்வம் தன் திருவாக்கினால் ரிஷிகள் எனப் பலமுறை பல்வேறு பக்தர்களிடமும் கூறி ஊர்ஜிதப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.

‘இந்தக் குழந்தைகளை நான் பாத்துக்கறேன்’ என்பதாக ஒரு முறை ஈன்ற அன்னையாம் மாதுஸ்ரீ வேதாம்பாளெனும் பிரதோஷ மாமாவின் துணைவியாரிடம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சைகை மூலம் கூறி பெரும் ஆறுதலை அந்தத் தாய்க்கு ஊட்டியுள்ளார். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா காப்பாத்துவார் என்ற சஞ்சலமற்ற நம்பிக்கையோடு பிரதோஷ மாமாவின் தீவிர பக்தி அமைந்திருந்தது.

அப்படித்தான் ஒருமுறை தன் இரண்டாவது புதல்வரான ஸ்ரீ கணேசனுக்கு மிகவும் மோசமான உடல்நிலையிருந்தும் பிரதோஷ தரிசனம் தான் முக்கியம் என்ற அதீத நாயன்மார் மனத்தோடு மாமா எங்கோ வடக்கில் ‘மகாகான்’ என்ற இடத்திற்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளைத் தரிசிக்கப் புறப்பட்டு விட்டார்.

சென்னை எழும்பூரிலோ குழந்தை கணேசனுக்கு இன்னும் உடல்நிலை கவலைக்கிடமானதில் இதைத் தெரிவித்து மகாகானுக்கு இங்கிருந்து தந்தி கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. இப்படி ஒரு தந்தி வந்திருக்கிறதே என்று மாமா ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் காப்பாற்ற வேண்டுமென்று நினைத்தபடி நின்றார்.

ஆனால் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் போக்கு வேறு எதையோச் சுட்டிக்காட்டுவதுபோல் திசை திரும்பலானது. கைங்கர்யம் செய்யும் ஏகாம்பரம் என்பவரிடம் சம்பந்தமில்லாததுபோல ஒரு கேள்வியினை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கேட்டார்கள்.

“சன்யாசிகளுக்கு எம பயம் உண்டா?” என்பதே அக்கேள்வி.

“கிடையாது” என்றார் ஸ்ரீ ஏகாம்பரம்.

“சன்யாசி தப்பு பண்ணினா என்னவாகும்?” அடுத்து புதிர்போடுவதைப் போல ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கேட்டார்.

இதற்கு பதிலளிக்க யாரால் முடியும்? எதிரே நின்றவர் மௌனமாக நின்றார். பின்னர் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளே விடையளிக்க விழைந்தார்.

சன்யாசிகள் தப்பு பண்ணினா சாதாரண மனுஷாளுக்கு அந்த தப்புக்கு கிடைக்கிற தண்டனை மாதிரி ரெட்டைத் தண்டனையை அனுபவிக்கணும்….. எமதர்மராஜா சபையிலே ஓநாயைவிட்டு கடிக்க வைப்பான். அப்படி ஒரு சிரமத்தை அவர் பட்டாகணும்” என்று ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா விளக்கினார்.

தொடர்பில்லாமல் இப்படி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எதற்கோ, எதையோ ஏன் பேச வேண்டுமென்று அங்கிருந்தவர்களுக்குப் புரியவில்லை. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இப்படி அச்சமயத்தில் கூறியதை பம்பாயிலிருந்து ஒரு பத்திரிக்கையில் அடுத்த நாள் வெளியிட்டிருந்தார்கள். அதில் பிரதோஷ மாமா தன் புதல்வனின் உடல்நிலை பற்றிக் கேட்டபோது ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இதை எடுத்துச் சொன்னதாக தொடர்பு செய்து வெளியிட்டிருந்தனர்.

மாமாவின் புதல்வர்கள் பூர்வ ஜன்மத்து ரிஷிகள் என்று இப்படி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இதற்குமுன் கூட வெளிப்படையாகக் காட்டி அருளியுள்ளார்.

கீரீஸ் நாட்டு இளவரசியான H.R.H. IRENI என்ற மாதுவிடம், தன் பக்தரான ஸ்ரீ பிரதோஷ மாமாவின் இரு குழந்தைகளும் ரிஷிகள் என்றும் அவர்களைப் போய் பார்த்துவிட்டு போகுமாறும் அருள்கட்டளையாகவே கூறியுள்ளார். அந்த பக்தையும் அவ்வாறே எழும்பூர் வந்து ரிஷிகளான குழந்தைகளை மண்டியிட்டு வணங்கிச் சென்றார்.

அவ்விரு குழந்தைகளையும் மகான்களாகத்தான் அக்கம்பக்கத்தில் இருந்தவர்கள் போற்றுவதுண்டு. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் ஸ்ரீ பீடமேற்ற பவளவிழாவைப் பிரதோஷ மாமா கொண்டாடியபோது மேலும் ஒரு அதிசயத்தை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ஒரு தேவி உபாசகர் மூலம் நிகழ்த்தியது போலிருந்தது. வைபவத்திற்கு எழும்பூர் வந்த அந்த உபாசகர் இந்த இரண்டு ரிஷி குழந்தைகளையும் மாற்றி மாற்றிப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அவருக்கு என்ன தோன்றியதோ தெரியவில்லை. மாதுஸ்ரீ வேதாம்பாளிடம் வந்து “இப்புதல்வர்களைப் பெற்ற அன்னையாம்  நீங்கள் யாரையும் வணங்கலாகாது. உங்களைத்தான் எல்லோரும் வணங்கிச் செல்ல வேண்டும்” என்று கூறினார்.

பின்னர் மூத்த ரிஷியாம் ஸ்ரீ அருணாசல ரமணனிடம் போய் நின்று தனக்கு மந்திர உபதேசம் செய்யச் சொல்லிக் கேட்டார். பரப்பிரம்மமாக வாய் பேசாமலிருந்த குழந்தை ஏதோ உணர்த்துவது அந்த தேவி உபாசகருக்கு மட்டும் புரிந்துள்ளது. உடனே இளைய ரிஷியாம் ஸ்ரீ கணேசனிடம் சென்று உபதேசம் கேட்டவர் உடனே ஆனந்தமானார். எனக்கு உபதேசம் கிடைத்துவிட்டதென்று அவர் அகமகிழ்ந்தார். ஆனால் இதைப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்த யாருக்கும் இதைப்பற்றி ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லை.

அப்போது மாதுஸ்ரீ வேதாம்பாள் அவர்களின் தாயார் அந்த தேவி உபாசகரிடமே கேட்டுவிட்டார். அதற்கு அவர் “ எனக்கு பஞ்சாட்சர மந்திரம் உபதேசமாயிற்று. ஆனால் அதை விளக்கி விரிவாகக் கூற இயலாது. ஏனென்றால் இது ஒரு தேவரகசியம்” என்று தனக்கு உபதேசமான சந்தோஷத்தோடு அங்கிருந்து அகன்றார்.

எழும்பூமூரில் இருந்தபோது அந்த இரு ரிஷி குமாரர்களுக்கும் அதில் இளையவர் சித்தியானதும், காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் ஸ்ரீ அருணாசல ரமணருக்கும் அக்கம் பக்கத்திலிருந்த பக்த சிறுவர்களும், சிறுமிகளும் அவர்களாகவே வலிய வந்து மனமுவந்து பணிவிடை செய்வது அதிசயமாக இருக்கும்.

இப்படிப் பணிவிடை செய்பவர்கள் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்குச் செல்லும்போது அந்த காருண்யர் அவைகளை பிரத்யேகமாக விசாரித்து அனுக்ரஹம் செய்து அனுப்புவார். இப்படி வேணு என்ற அன்பரின் குடும்பத்தினரிடம் “அருணாசலத்திற்கு சுத்தமெல்லாம் செஞ்சி விடறயா? க்ஷேமமா இருப்பே” என்று ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அருளியதை கேட்டவருண்டு.

ஒருமுறை எழும்பூரில் நடந்த சம்பவம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் கருணை இக்குழந்தையிடம் அலாதியாக பொழிந்துள்ளதைக் காட்டுகிறது.

பிரதோஷ மாமா உத்யோக நிமித்தமாக வெளியூர் சென்றிருந்தபோது, இயல்பு நிலையில்லாத இந்த இரண்டு ரிஷிக் குழந்தைகளுடன் துணைவியார் தனிமையில் இருக்கும் நிலை. ஸ்ரீ அருணாசலத்திற்கு தீடீரென்று காலில் உள்ள முட்டு எதிர்புறமாக திரும்பிவிட்டதில் குழந்தை துடிதுடித்து அவஸ்தைப் படுகிறான். யாரும் துணையில்லாத நிலையில் அந்த அன்னைக்கு குழந்தை படும் வேதனையைப் பார்த்துத் தாங்க முடியாத சோகம்! என்ன செய்வதென்று புரியாத தவிப்பு!

ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சன்னதியில் அடைக்கலமாவதன்றி வேறு கதி ஏது? குழந்தையை சன்னதியில் கிடத்தி உருக உருக தாயுள்ளம் கதறுகிறது. உதவிக்கு அழைத்திட்ட அக்கம்பக்கத்துக்காரர்களும் ஒன்றும் புரியாமல் அகன்றனர். திரு. கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி என்பவர் முதலுதவியாக ஒரு ஆயிண்மெண்டை வாங்கி வந்து தடவினார். பலனில்லை. மாமியோ எப்போதும் போல அந்த முட்டியை பழைய நிலைக்கு கொண்டுவர முயற்சி செய்தும் அவஸ்தை குறைவதாகத் தெரியவில்லை.

யாரோ உடனே குழந்தையைப் புத்தூருக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லலாம் என்றனர். ஆனால் மற்றொரு இயலாத குழந்தையை விட்டுவிட்டு எப்படிச் செல்வதென்று அன்னை செய்வதறியாது கலங்கி நின்றாள்.

“குழந்தை படற அவஸ்தை தாங்க முடியலையே….. எப்படிப் புத்தூருக்கு அழைச்சுண்டு போவேன்…… பெரியவா இதுக்கு நீங்கதான் வழி சொல்லணும்….. வேறு கதியே எனக்குத் தெரியலே” என்று ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா திருஉருவப் படத்திற்கு முன் ஒரு நூறு ரூபாயை வைத்து அன்னை பேதலித்து அழுதாள்.

சர்வலோக அன்னையாம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கைவிடுவாரா? திடுதெப்பென்று அங்கு ஒருவர் ஓடி வந்தார். “மாமி நீங்கள் புத்தூர் போக வேண்டாம். அந்த புத்தூர் டாக்டரே சென்னைக்கு வந்திருக்கிறாராம்” என்று பேரதிசயமான தகவலைத் தந்தார். டாக்டரிடம் ஓடியபோது அவர் முதலில் மறுத்துவிட்டுப் பின்னர் வீட்டிற்கே வந்து சிகிச்சை அளித்தார். அதற்கான பணம் ஏதும் வாங்காதது வியப்பளித்தது. குழந்தை சகஜநிலைக்கு வந்ததும் வேதாம்பாள் கண்களில் நிம்மதி நீராய் பெருகியது.

சாட்சாத் ஈஸ்வரரான ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் கருணைதான் இதற்கு முழுமையான காரணம் என்பதும் பின்பு உறுதியாயிற்று.

பிரதோஷ மாமா இந்த சம்பவத்திற்குப் பின் வந்த பிரதோஷத்திற்கு ஹாஸ்பெட் என்ற ஊருக்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளைத் தரிசிக்கச் சென்றார். அப்போது கைங்கர்யம் செய்து ஸ்ரீ ஏகாம்பரம் என்பவர் கூறிய செய்தி பிரம்மிப்பாயிருந்தது.

ஒரு நாள் அந்த ஊர் சிவன் கோயில் வாசலில் இரவு 12 மணிக்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இந்த அன்பரிடம் ஒரு விஷயம் பற்றிப் பேசியுள்ளார். அதாவது  குழந்தைகளால் கஷ்டப்படும் பெற்றோர்கள், பெற்றோர்களால் கஷ்டப்படும் குழந்தைகள் என்று தன் பக்தர்களில் 19 பேரைப் பற்றி விரிவாக ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பேசினாராம்.

அதில் என்ன அதிசயமென்றால், ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பேசிய அந்த தினம் அந்த நேரம் இங்கே சென்னையில் ஸ்ரீ அருணாசலம் கஷ்டப்படும்போது அதைக் காண சகிக்காமல் பெற்ற அன்னை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா திரு உருவப் படத்தின்முன் வேண்டி நின்ற அதே தருணங்களே ஆகும்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட பேரனுக்ரஹம் பெற்ற ரிஷி புதல்வன் தன் சொற்பப் பிறவி காலங்களை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பிரதோஷ சிவன்நாயன்மார் தம்பதிகளின் புத்திர வடிவில் கழித்து ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளின் ஜயந்தி நட்சத்திரப் புண்ணிய தினமான அனுஷ வைபவங்கள் முடியும் வரை காத்திருந்து, ஏகாதசியான புனித திதியில் விருக்தி வருடம் ஆடி மாதம் 8ம் நாள் (21-7-2010) தன் ஜன்மங்களின் பூர்த்தியைத் தேடிக் கொண்டு விட்டார்.

சென்னையில் நங்கநல்லூரில் ஒரு சுவாமிகள் ஸ்ரீ அருணாசல ரமணர் என்ற இந்த ரிஷிப் புதல்வரைப்பற்றிக் குறிப்பிட்டபோது, அவர் சதா சர்வகாலமும் தான் இருந்த இடத்திலிருந்தே  திருவண்ணாமலையை கிரிவலம் வந்துக் கொண்டிருப்பதாகக் கூறியுள்ளார். ஸ்ரீ அருணாசல ரமணரைத் தரிசிக்க மட்டுமே சில பக்தர்கள் மாதம் தோறும் ஸ்ரீ பிரதோஷ மாமா இல்லத்திற்கு வந்து வணங்கிச் செல்கின்றனர்.

இப்படி தன் பக்தர்களின் குடும்பத்தைக் குடி முழுவதும் ஆளும் குணாளராக ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா காத்தருளுவது நிதர்சனம். இந்தப் பெருங்கருணைத் தெய்வத்தைப் பற்றிக் கொண்டு சகல சௌபாக்யங்களையும், சர்வ மங்களங்களையும் அடைவோமாக!

ஓரு துளி தெய்வாமிருதம்

நம் கஷ்டத்தை ஈஸ்வரரிடம் சொல்கிறபோதே, அவருக்கு அது தெரியாது என நாம் நினைப்பது போலாகிறது. அதாவது எல்லாம் அறிந்த சர்வக்ஞன் அவர் என்பதை நாம் உணராமல் மறந்துவிடுவது போலாகிறது. இந்தக் கஷ்டத்தைப் போக்க அதைத் தாங்கும் மனசைக் கொடு என்று கேட்டுத்தான் அவர் அதை அனுக்ரஹிக்கிறார் என்றும் ஆகிறது. அதனால் தானாக பெருகும் காருண்யத்திற்கு குறை உண்டாக்கி விடுகிறோம்.

ஆனால் இப்படிப்பட்ட பிரார்த்தனையால் நம்முடைய மனச்சுமை தற்காலிகமாக லேசாகி கொஞ்சம் சாந்தி பிறக்கிறது. நாமாகவே எல்லாம் சாதித்து விட முடியும் என்ற அகங்காரத்தை விட்டு ஈஸ்வரரை யாசிக்கிற அளவிற்கு எளிமை பெறுகிறோமே, அதுவும் நல்லதுதான்

ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளின் மீளா அடிமையாம் அற்புத நாயன்மார்

பிரம்மஸ்ரீ பிரதோஷம் மாமா உத்தரவின்படி நடந்த அதிருத்ரத்திற்குப் பின் நாயேன் ஒரு நாள் ஸ்ரீ மடத்தில் மஹா பிரபுவைத் தரிசிக்க நின்றேன். அது அங்கே நடந்த அதிருத்ர சமயமானதால் வேத விற்பன்னர்கள் கூட்டம் ஸ்ரீ மடத்தில் அதிகமாகக் காணப்பட்டது.

“மடத்திலே வேதம் படிச்சவா நிறைய தெரியறாளே பாத்தயா” என்று நாயேனை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கூப்பிட்டுக் கேட்டபோது சற்றே வியப்பானது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இதைத் தொடர்ந்து “ஏன்னு தெரியுமா?” என்றும் கேட்டார்.

நாயேன் ஆனந்த மிகுதியோடு “ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா ஜயந்தி அதிருத்ரம் கோலாகலமா நடக்கிறது. அதுக்காக வந்திருப்பா” என்றேன் பவ்யமாக. அப்போது சற்றும் எதிர்பார்க்காத திருவாக்காய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பக்கத்திலிருந்த தொண்டரிடம் நாயேனைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டி “உனக்குத் தெரியுமோ? இவரும் அதிருத்ரம் பண்ணியிருக்கார்” என்றார். என் உடலெங்கும் சிலிர்ப்பு. சாட்சாத் ஈஸ்வரரிடமே நாயேனுக்கு இப்பேற்பட்ட அங்கீகாரம் என மனம் நெகிழ்ந்தேன். இந்த அரிய பாக்யம் குருவாய் கிடைத்திட்ட பிரம்மஸ்ரீ மாமாவினால்தான் என்பதை என் நெஞ்சம் நிறைவாக அனுபவித்தது.

மேலும், பிரம்மஸ்ரீ மாமா காஞ்சி அதிருத்ரத்திற்காக நாயேனை முசிறி தீட்சதரைச் சென்று பார்த்து அழைத்துவர சொன்ன அனுபவமும் மகத்தானது. போய் கேட்டதற்கிணங்கி தீட்சதரும் தானே அக்னிஹோத்ரிகளை அழைத்து வருவதாக இசைந்து அதன்படியே நடத்திக் கொடுத்தார்கள். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் பேரனுக்ரஹம் மாமா தொடங்கி அதிருத்ரப் பணிகளின் ஒவ்வொன்றிலும் நாயேனுக்கு அனுபவமாகத் தெரிந்தது. வி.ஜி.பி. சகோதர்ர்கள் அதி விரைவாக பங்காரு அம்மன் தோட்டத்து இடத்தைக் கட்டிக் கொடுக்க, உன்னதத் தம்பதிகளான எம்.எஸ்.சுப்பலட்சுமி சதாசிவம் அவர்கள் மூலமாக வேண்டிய செல்வத்தை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அருள் கொட்டிக் கொடுக்க, இத்தனை அதிசயங்களையும் நாயேன் காணும் பெரும்பாக்யம் உத்தம குருவான பிரதோஷ மாமாவின் அருளே என நாயேனின் மனம் நெகிழலாயிற்று.

Shri Shri Shri Mahaperiyavaal Mahimai (18-08-2010)

Shri Mahaperiyava, due to His kindness, to bless all the people, like a Sugabrahma Rishi Saint, took avatar as Shri Shri Shri Mahaperiyava, walked this earth and blessed us.

Brahmashree Pradosham Mama’s bhakthi to Periyava is like a banyan tree and like the hanging roots of the tree, Mama spreads the bhakthi and blessings to all the other people he comes across.

Periyava has called the two sons of the blessed soul like Pradosham Mama as Rishis. He has mentioned this to many devotees at various different times.

“I will take care of them”, Periyava had once said this to Shree Vedambal, wife of Pradosham Mama. She was completely relieved on hearing this from Periyava. Pradosham Mama’s bhakthi was also based on the thought that He will take care of everything.

Once, when Shree Ganesan, the second son of Pradosham Mama was seriously ill, Mama went to Mahagaon, to visit Periyava for the Pradosham. But the condition of Shree Ganesan started to deteriorate and a telegram was sent to Mahagaon. Pradosham Mama wanted to inform about the telegram to Periyava and seek His blessings for the same.

But it looked like Periyava wanted to discuss about something else. He turned towards Ekambaram and asked an irrelevant question

“Do Sanyasi’s fear Yama?”

“No” replied Ekambaram.

“What if the Sanyasi has committed a mistake?” Periyava continued His puzzling questions.

Who can answer such questions? Ekambaram stayed silent. Periyava started responding to His own question.

“Sanyasi will have to experience double the punishment, compared to common people. He will be bitten by foxes in the court of Yama. That is the kind of punishment, he has to undergo”, Periyava explained.

No one there understood why Periyava was talking about it. This was published in a Mumbai based magazine. The magazine had put this as Periyava’s response to Pradosham Mama’s question about his second son’s health, indicating that they were rishis.

There are additional instances where Periyava had indicated this.

Periyava had asked the Princess of Greece, H.R.H. Ireni, to visit Pradosham Mama’s sons, as they were Rishis. The Princess, as instructed, visited them at Chennai Egmore and knelt down to show her respect to them.

All the neighbors of Pradosham Mama would look up to his sons as a saint. When Pradosham Mama was celebrating the 75^th year of Periyava’s ascension to the Kanchi Srimatam, Periyava performed the wonder through a Devi Upasakar. The Upasakar, who had come to Egmore for the celebrations, kept looking at both the sons and said to Shree Vedambal, “As a mother of these two children, you should not prostrate to anyone, instead everyone should prostrate you”.

Afterwards, the Upasakar, requested Shree Arunachala Ramanan, the elder son, to give him Upadesam. Only the Upasakar was able to understand the silence of the elder son. Then he requested the younger rishi to give Upadesam. The Upasakar, was very happy that he had received the Upadesam. Everyone there did not understand what really happened there.

But Shree Vedambal’s mother asked the Upasakar about what had happened. The Upasakar replied, “I received the Panchachara Mantra Upadesam. It is a divine secret and I cannot say any other information about it”. He left that place happily after receiving the Upadesam.

When the younger rishi attained siddhi at Egmore, all the young kids at Kanchi started to do service to the elder Rishi, who was Kanchi during that time. If any of these young kids went to have darshan of Periyava, He inquired them about their service to the elder Rishi and blessed them.

There are incidents where we see the blessing the two sons of Pradosham Mama’s sons have received.

Pradosham Mama had to travel out of town for official purpose. Shree Vedambal had to stay alone with her two sons. During this time, suddenly Shree Arunachala’s knee turns the other way around. The mother was unable to see the pain her son was undergoing through and did not know what to do.

The mother kept her son before Periyava and started to cry. The neighbors did not know what could be done. One of the neighbor Krishnamurthy, applied some ointments, but that did not help. Some of them suggested to take him to Puttur. How could she leave the other kid and take the elder one to Puttur?

Unable to bear the pain of her elder son, the mother kept hundred rupees next to Periyava and prayed that how can she go to Puttur.

Periyava, the universal mother of all, immediately helped the mother. A person comes to their house and informed them about the availability of the Puttur doctor at Chennai. The doctor itself came and visited their house, and what was surprising is, the doctor refused to get any fees. The mother was very happy to see her elder son’s pain vanish.

It was later confirmed that all this happened with Periyava’s grace.

During the next Pradosham, Mama went to Hospet for Periyava’s darshan. During that time, Mama was surprised to hear that information from Ekambaram.

Ekambaram explained that, one day around midnight, in a Shiva temple at Hospet, Periyava was telling about Kids who have experienced difficulties due to their parents and vice versa. He talked in detail about 19 of His devotees.

The surprising thing is that, the time that Periyava said these was the same time, Shree Arunachala’s mother was crying before Periyava.

Such a blessed soul, Shree Arunachala, spent the rest of his life as the son of Pradosham Mama Couple and after waiting for Anusham celebration, left his body, on Ekadasi thithi of Aadi month during the Virukthi year (21-7-2010) and completed his Janma.

A Sanyasi at Nanganallur had mentioned that, Shree Arunachala can be found doing Girivalam (Circumambulating the Thiruvannamalai hills). There are lot of devotees who visit Pradosham Mama’s house to get blessings of Shree Arunachala.

It is true that whoever surrenders to Periyava will be blessed with all goodness in this world.

A drop of God’s Nectar:

When we pray to Eswara saying the difficulties that we are facing, it indirectly implies that Eswara is not aware of our problems. It indicates, we have forgotten the fact that He knows everything. It is as if, Eswara is responding to what we are asking Him. This leads to the reduction of Eswara’s kindness.

There are couple of good things for this kind of prayer. This reduces the burden on us and gives us peace. It also ensures that we lose our proud nature and with a simple heart surrender to Him.

As per Brahmashree Mama’s wish, I went for the darshan of Periyava after the Adi Rudram event. Since there was Adi Rudram going on at Srimatam, there were lot of eminent Veda scholars.

Periyava called me and asked, “Do you know why there are lot of Veda scholars here”? I replied that they have all come for the Adi Rudram celebration of Shree Periyava Jayanthi. Then something unexpected happened. Periyava, pointing at me, said to another person, “He has also conducted Adi Rudram”. I felt blessed and considered that as an approval for the Adi Rudram we were performing. I also realized that it was the blessings of my Guru Pradosham Mama.

Also, For the Kanchi Adi Rudram celebration, on the directions of Pradosham Mama, I went and invited Musiri Deekshitar. It was a great experience to go and invite and Deekshitar accepted to come and came along with a group of Agnihotris and helped in the successful completion of the Adi Rudram. I felt the blessings of Periyava and my Guru Pradosham Mama in all the Adi Rudram celebrations. It is the blessing of Periyava and my Guru Pradosham Mama that I was able to witness the completion of the building at Bangaru Gardens by VGP brothers with the financial support from the elite couple Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi andShri. Sadasivam.

Grace will continues to grow.
