Pradosham special from Sri BN Mama

Mama has been doing several natural scenery drawings lately and now he has combined Periyava with one such drawing that brings enormous beauty… Although, this is an imaginary location, who knows – Periyava might have been to a place like this in real life also!!!

Thanks mama for the share and a beautiful poem too…The poem is the right message we need at this point in time. We all have His photos, vigrahams and post lots of messages in social media…But we need to ask ourselves how much we are following His advices. Like mama said, following Him is nothing but doing what He asked us to do…Thanks mama for your beautiful message….

Let us all pray Him on this auspicious Pradosham evening to bless us all.

இதோ போகிறாரே காவி உடுத்திக் கொண்டு;
பிரசித்தி பெற்ற கூண்டு ரிக்ஷாவின் பின்னே;
இரண்டு பக்கத்திலும் இரண்டு
அணுக்கத் தொண்டர்கள்;
முன்னால் சில பக்தர்கள்;

இவரைத் தெரியாமல் இருக்க முடியாது;
ஆம்;
ஆதிசங்கரருக்குப்பின், சென்ற நூற்றாண்டில்,
அவருடைய மறு அவதாரமாக அவதரித்து,
நமக்கெல்லாம் நல்வழி காட்டி,
வேதங்களை, மறைந்து போகாமல்
காப்பாற்றி, நலிந்தவர்க்கும், எளியோருக்கும்
அன்புக் கரத்தால் ஆசி வழங்கியும்,
அன்பு மழையால் குளிப்பாட்டியும்;
ஜாதி மத பேதமன்றி அனைத்து உயிரனங்களுக்கும்
வாழ்க்கையில் நம்பிக்கையும், பிடிப்பையும் உண்டாக்கி
சோர்வை நீக்கி,
நூறு வருடகாலம் ஒரு மறுமலர்ச்சியை
உண்டாக்கிய, ‘மஹா பெரியவர்‘
என்று அனைவராலும் அன்புடன் அழைக்கப்பட்ட, காஞ்சி சங்கரர்தான்!

எங்கே போய்க் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்?
வாருங்கள், நாமும் அவர் பின்னாலேயே செல்வோம்.
ஆம், அதோ தூரத்தில் தெரிகிறதே
ஒரு கோயில், அங்குதான் செல்கிறார்.
நாளை பிரதோஷம் அல்லவா?
அவரைப் பின்பற்றிச் சென்றால்,
பிரதோஷ பூஜையைப் பார்க்கலாம்.
சந்திர மௌளீஸ்வரர் பூஜையைப் பார்க்கலாம்.
அவர் கைகளில் இருந் தீர்த்தப் பிரசாதம் பெறலாம்.
பாக்கியம் இருந்தால் நம்முடன்
சில வார்த்தைகள் பேசுவார்.

“அவர்தான் சித்தி அடைந்து விட்டாரே!
அவர் பின்னால் எப்படிப் போவது?”
நம்முடைய குரங்கு மனது இந்தக்
கேள்வியைக் கேட்கிறது.
“மூட மனதே! அவர் பின்னால் போவது
என்றால், அவர் காட்டிய நல்வழியில்
செல்வது என்று அர்த்தம்.

அவரவருக்கு என்று விதித்த நித்ய
கர்மாக்கள், மறைந்த முன்னோர்களுக்குத்
திதி அனுஷ்டிப்பது, அமாவசைத்
தர்ப்பணம் முதலியன செய்வது,
வேதங்கள் மறையாமல் இருக்க, வேதபாராயணம்,
ஹோமம், யக்ஞம் முதலியன செய்வது.
வேதபாடசாலைகளுக்கு, நம்மாலான உதவிகள் செய்வது,

வேதியர்களை ஊக்குவிப்பது; பிராமணர்களாப் பிறந்தவர்கள் சிறிதாவது வேதம் கற்று, பாராயணம் செய்து, தினம் வீட்டில் வேதகோஷம் ஒலிக்கச் செய்வது; எளியோர்களுக்கும், நலிந்தோர்களுக்கும், நம்மாலான உதவிகளைச் செய்வது; எல்லோரிடமும் அன்பு பாராட்டுவது; பொறாமை, கோபம், காமம் போன்ற துர்க்குணங்களை விடுவது……………….

சொல்லிக் கொண்டே போகலாம் எல்லாம்தான் ‘ தெய்வத்தின் குரல் ‘ ஏழு புத்தங்களிலும் இருக்கிறதே! அவைகளில் சொல்லியிருப்பதை அடிக்கடி படிப்பது, சிலவற்றையாவது கடைப் பிடிக்க முயற்சிப்பது.

இதை எல்லாம் செய்தால், அவர் பின்னால் செல்வது என்று அர்த்தம். அவ்விதம் போனால், சந்திர மௌளீஸ்வரர் பூஜை, பிரதோஷ பூஜை, பௌர்ணமி பூஜை, வியாச பூஜை எல்லாம் பார்த்த பயன் கிட்டும்.

வாருங்கள் எல்லோரும்! அவர் வழியே சென்று, நற்கதி அடைவோம்.

There He is going, without saying where He is going to !

Even at this age, He is going without the help of any vehicle !

That Supreme Yogi, living on a handful of beaten rice, has started on His holy yatra, like a youth— unmindful of His untenable age !

When (one’s) belief in God reaches its peak, age and hunger do not matter !

The ripe fruit falls off the tree without asking anyone.

The fully realized wise men do not ask for any explanation for anything from anyone. They decide for themselves.

If they feel something, it means that Almighty is speaking to them.

A person was looking at the river for quite sometime.

Another person thought, ‘What is there to look at it; water only is flowing !’

But, what did the person who was looking at the river think?

‘God did not create river; He only created water; the water took the form of a river and formed the banks on either side, by itself. What a pity that man does not possess even that wisdom which the river has!’

An inner light (Jyothi) has spread out; There, the Supreme Yogi is walking with that Light; It is not a journey performed by a mortal body; but a journey by an Atman. When He has renounced the worldly desires, manifested Himself as ‘Dharma’, and begun His journey, ‘Dharma’ is spreading its path for Him; The Supreme Yoga is showering its petals; He receives the respects which even big emperors do not get.

Only wise men will be able to observe the Creation with amazement and realize the deep inner thoughts.

The knowledge gained through study and listening alone does not help them.

An inner light (Jyothi) has spread all over;

There, the great Yogi is going with that Light.

That journey(Yatra) is not that of a normal mortal human.

It is that of an Atman.

Bagavat PAdAl Sri AdiSnkarar left His foot prints from the Himalayas to Kanyakumari before the age of forty.

There were no foot wear in those legs, nor in these here.

But, stones never hurt them;

Thorns pricked them, but there was never pain.

God’s compassion protect these legs.

When big rivers dash against rocks, the rivers do not get damaged, but over a period of time, the rocks get eroded.

Though water flows aplenty in river Ganga, the bird ‘Chakravakam’ goes in search of dews.

Some beetles sit only on flowers.

Some birds rest only on green trees.

The determination of a great Yogi is full of flavor and green.

Night and day are occurring alternately in the world .

They appear different for a worldly human .

But, for Yogi, both appear the same .

Tone and only relationship for them is GOD.

They are the messengers who convey God’s messages to the ordinary humans.

That is why their feet are much above the heads of ordinary humans.

When they start their journey, after totally renouncing the worldly pleasures and taking the form of Dharma , the latter spreads the path for them. Flowers are showered on their path.

They get the respects which even great kings do not get.

A temple is being built in Andhra Pradesh; The idol of the main Deity is yet to be installed; Kanchi Periavar went and stayed there for a night, it is said; The people of Andhra Pradesh were happy and said that the main Deity has been installed already !

He is not the head of the Brahmins; Brahmins should not create such an opinion.

He is the Supreme Light of knowledge which gives knowledge to all those ignorant beings in the world. One will not realize His greatness NOW. After fifty years, to a question , “What is Hindu Religion /”, the future student will answer, “ The Sankarachaya Swamikal by the name Sri Chandrasekara Saraswathi Swamikal”.

I cannot explain in mere words the inner light I felt in myself when I had a Dharsan of that ripe fruit of Wisdom. Only one in ten million can become like Him; all those who go to the fort of Chenji, are not Dhesinku Rajas; all those who adorn their body with saffron robe do not become yogis. A Supreme Yogi, blessed with wisdom, discipline , good conduct and good manners is born very rarely, somewhere, sometime.

There, He is continuing His walk;

That boon, which we got through the love of the Almighty, should live for many many years. A mother, while singing a lullaby to her child, should sing about Him. He should be mentioned in the school lessons.

It is not a wise thing to ignore a noble soul, by brushing Him aside as a ‘Brahmin’.

Wise men and ladies of pure chastity are born in any religion. If an ordinary yogi cannot be ignored, where is justice in those who are not Brahmins ignoring this Supreme Yogi?

There, He keeps walking;

He has told us much more than what Budhdha had told us. He has showered on us much more philosophies than what Jesus Christ has done. He has NEVER been an extremist of caste or religion. Nor has He entangled Himself in political affairs.

He is the only one who is living a life as ordained by Bagavan in Geeta.

There! He is continuing His walk; Let us all follow His footsteps;

Let it be our Yogam.
