“என்ன கேட்டது கிடைச்சுதா? – மஹா பெரியவா (பிரசாதப் பையை தொலைத்த பெண்மணியிடம்)

(யாருக்கு எது கிடைக்கணும்னு இருக்கோ, அதை என்னதான் முயற்சி பண்ணினாலும் தடுக்க முடியாது. கிடைக்காதுன்னு இருக்கிறதை தக்கவைச்சுக்கவும் முடியாது. இதே மாதிரி ஒரு சம்பவம்)

ஒரு சமயம் ரொம்ப தொலைவுல இருக்கிற ஊர்ல இருந்து  வசதி உள்ள குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவா சிலர், மகாபெரியவாளை தரிசனம் பண்ண வந்திருந்தா.
ஆசிர்வாதம் பண்ணி கற்கண்டும்,குங்குமமும் தந்த மகாபெரியவா அவாகிட்டே ஒரு விஷயத்தைச் சொன்னார்.

“நீங்க இங்கேர்ந்து புறப்படறச்சே வழியில் யாராவது நோயாளியைப் பார்த்தேன்னா,அவாளுக்கு உங்களால் முடிஞ்ச உபகாரத்தைப் பண்ணிட்டுப் போங்கோ!” அப்படின்னார்.

“சரின்னு தலையை ஆட்டிட்டு வழக்கம்போல பிரசாதத்தை வாங்கிண்டு புறப்பட்டா எல்லாரும்.

மடத்தோட வாசலைத் தாண்டறதுக்குள்ளே,ஆசார்யா சொன்னது மறந்துபோயிடுத்து அவாளுக்கு. அதனால யாருக்கும் எந்த உதவியும் பண்ணாம ரயிலேறி நேரா ஊருக்குப் போய்ச்சேர்ந்துட்டா.

அங்கே போனதும், பெரியவா தந்த பிரசாத குங்குமத்தை எடுத்து சுவாமி மாடத்துல வைக்கலாம்னு பையைத் தேடினப்பதான் தெரிஞ்சுது, பையையே எங்கேயோ தொலைச்சுட்டோம்கறது.அதுல பிரசாதம் மட்டுமில்லாம கிட்டத்தட்ட ரெண்டாயிரம் ரூபாய் பணமும் வைச்சிருக்கா அவா. அது அந்தக் காலத்துல ரொம்ப பெரிய தொகை.

அப்போதான் யோசிச்சிருக்கா. அடடா, மஹா பெரியவா சொன்னபடி உதவி பண்ணாம வந்துட்டோமே, அதான் இப்படியெல்லாம் நடந்திருக்குன்னு.  சரி அவசரத்துல மறந்துட்டோம். தெரியாம பண்ணிட்டோம்னு மஹா பெரியவாகிட்டேயே மனசார வேண்டிப்போம். அவரே பையைத் திரும்ப கிடைக்க வைப்பார், அப்படின்னு தீர்மானம் செஞ்சா. அதே மாதிரி வேண்டிண்டா.

ரெண்டு மூணு நாள் ஆச்சு. தபால்ல ஒரு கவர் வந்தது, அவா ஆத்து முகவரிக்கு. என்னவா இருக்கும்னு பிரிச்சுப் பார்த்தா,உள்ளே அவா தொலைச்ச பை இருந்தது அவசர அவசரமா பணம் இருக்கான்னு பார்க்க, பையைக் குடைஞ்சா. ஊஹூம், உள்ளே மகாபெரியவா தந்த பிரசாதமும் கூடவே ஒரு கடுதாசியும் மட்டும் இருந்தது.

“உங்கள் பையை வீதியில் பார்த்தேன்.அதில் உங்கள் முகவரி அட்டையும் இருந்தது.உரியவரிடம் சேர்த்து விடலாம் என்றுதான் எடுத்தேன்.ஆனால் திடீரென்று என் தந்தைக்கு உடல்நலம் சரியில்லாமல் போனதால் அவருக்கு சிகிச்சை அளிப்பதற்காக உங்கள் பையில் இருந்த பணத்தை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதாகிவிட்டது மன்னிக்கவும்.பையில் இருந்த பிரசாதத்தை இத்துடன் அனுப்பி இருக்கிறேன்!” கடிதத்தைப் படித்தார்கள்.

ஆசார்யா குடுத்த பிரசாதம் திரும்பக் கிடைச்சுது சந்தோஷமா இருந்தாலும், பணம் திரும்பக் கிடைக்கலையேங்கற வருத்தம் அவாளுக்குள்ளே இருந்தது.கொஞ்சநாள் கழிச்சு மறுபடியும் ஆசார்யாளை தரிசனம் பண்ண வந்தா அந்தக் குடும்பத்தினர். அவாளோட முறை வந்ததும், பெரியவாளுக்கு நமஸ்காரம் பண்ணினா.

“என்ன கேட்டது கிடைச்சுதா? அப்படின்னு அந்தக் குடும்பத் தலைவியைப் பார்த்து கேட்டார் மகாபெரியவா.

“இல்லை பெரியவா..பையும் பிரசாதமும் மட்டும்தான் கிடைச்சுது. பணம் போனது போனதுதான்!” அவசர அவசரமா சொன்னார் அவாள்ல ஒருத்தர்.

“இல்லையே.பணத்தைப்பத்தி கேட்கலையே..பிரசாதப் பை கிடைச்சா போதும். பணம் உதவி பண்ணினதா இருந்துட்டுப் போகட்டும்னுதானே வேண்டிண்டா?” பெரியவா சொல்லி முடிக்கறதுக்கு முன்னாலயே, “ஆமாம்.நான் அப்படித்தான் வேண்டிண்டேன்.பெரியவாளோட ஆணைப்படி யாருக்கோ உதவினதா இருக்கட்டும்னு நினைச்சுண்டேன்” தழுதழுக்கச் சொன்னா, அந்தப் பெண்மணி.

ஏழை நோயாளியோட சிகிச்சைக்கு இவாளோட பணம் போய்ச்சேரணும்கறதை முன்கூட்டியே எப்படித் தீர்மானிச்சார்? பிரசாதம் திரும்பக் கிடைக்கணும்னு வேண்டிண்டவாளுக்கு அதை எப்படி திருப்பிக் கிடைக்க வைச்சார்? இதெல்லாம் மஹா பெரியவாளுக்கு மட்டுமேதெரிஞ்ச பரம ரகசியம்

“Did you get what you asked for?” asked Periyavaa (to the woman who lost the Prasadam bag)

No one can stop what others are destined to receive. And no one can retain what is not meant to be theirs. This is an incident which proves that.

Once, a family of rich people from a distant place came to have dharshan of Maha Periyavaa. Periyavaa gave his blessings and also gave them rock sugar (Karkandu) and Kumkum as Prasadam. He told them “When you leave from here, if you come across any sick person, do whatever help you can for them and then leave”

All of them agreed to it and got the Prasadam and started from there. But by the time they crossed the Mutt’s entrance, they forgot Achaaryaa’s words. And they boarded the train without helping anyone and also reached their town.

Once they reached home, they searched for the Prasadam bag to keep the Kumkuma prasadam in their Swamy shelf. That’s when they realized that they have lost the bag somewhere. Along with the Prasadam, the bag also had approximately Rs. 2000 in it. During those times Rs. 2000 was a huge amount.

That’s when they thought about Periyavaa’s words. “Oh! We returned home without helping anyone as Periyavaa told us. That’s why we lost the bag. In all the rush, we forgot to help someone. Let’s pray to Periyavaa that we did it out of ignorance and He himself will help us to get the bag back.” Determined in this way, they all prayed to Periyavaa.

After 2-3 days, they received a parcel in post, to their address. When they opened it, they found the bag which they had lost. Immediately they searched the bag upside down looking for the money – But no – There was Prasadam which Periyavaa gave them and a letter. There was no money in the bag.

They read the letter which said “I saw your bag on the road. It had your address on it. I took it to ensure that the owner of the bag gets it. But suddenly, my father fell sick and so I took the money in the bag for his treatment. Please forgive me. I am sending the Prasadam which was in the bag along.”

While they were happy that they got the Prasadam which Periyavaa gave them, they felt disappointed on not getting the money back. After few days they went to have a dharshan of Maha Periyavaa again. When their turn came, they prostrated in front of Periyavaa. Periyavaa looked at the woman head of the family and asked, “Did you get what you asked for?”

One among the family members immediately answered, “No Periyavaa. We only got the bag and the Prasadam. Money lost is lost”.

“No – I didn’t ask about the money. Did she not pray that “It is enough if we get back the Prasadam bag. Let the money be a help for someone”? Before even Periyavaa could complete saying this, the lady emotionally said “Yes – It was me only who prayed like that. I thought let the money be a help for someone as per Periyavaa’s orders”

How did He decide in advance that their money should reach a poor sick person? How did He make those, who prayed that they should get their Prasadam bag, get it back? All these are divine secrets which only Maha Periyava knows.
