“குழந்தைகளுக்குக் கற்பிக்க ஆரம்பப்பள்ளிக்குச் செல்வதே பெரும் பாக்யம்”

அப்பய்ய தீட்சிதர் வம்சத்தைச் சேர்ந்த,-பெரிய பள்ளியில் கௌரவமாக உத்தியோகம்  பார்த்துவிட்டு,சிறிய பள்ளியில் ஆசிரியர் வேலை பார்க்க மனம் ஒப்பவில்லை-ஸ்ரீ ராமகிருஷ்ண தீட்சிதர். இந்தச் சம்பவம் இடையபலம் ஸ்ரீ ராமகிருஷ்ண தீட்சிதருக்கு ஏற்பட்ட அனுபவம்.

1968ம் வருடம் அவர் ஒரு உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் சமஸ்கிருத ஆசிரியராகப்பணியாற்றியபோது, சர்க்காரின் இருமொழிக் கொள்கைகளில் அவருக்கு உத்தியோகம் போய்விட்டது.ஆனால் அனுபவம் வாய்ந்த மூத்த பண்டிதர்களுக்கு வேறு பள்ளியில் இடம் கொடுத்தனர். தீட்சிதரை ஒரு ஆரம்பப் பாடசாலையில் ஆசிரியராகப் போட்டனர்.

பெரிய பள்ளியில் கௌரவமாக உத்தியோகம்பார்த்துவிட்டு,சிறிய பள்ளியில் ஆசிரியர் வேலை பார்க்க மனம் ஒப்பவில்லை. தயங்கிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார். அவரது நண்பர் கோகுல்,விஜயவாடாவில் முகாமிட்டு இருந்த மகாபெரியவாளைத் தரிசிக்கச் சென்றார்.

அவர் தீட்சிதருடன் சென்றே மகானைத் தரிசிப்பது வழக்கம்.

முதல் கேள்வியே மகானிடமிருந்து வந்தது.

“எங்கே ராமகிருஷ்ணன்?”

“வரும்போது கூப்பிட்டேன். மனம் சரியில்லை என்று சொல்லிவிட்டார்” என்றார் கோகுல்.

“என்ன விஷயம் என்று மகான் கேட்காமல் அவராகவே பேச ஆரம்பித்தார்.

அப்பய்ய தீட்சிதர் வம்சத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர் இந்த ராமகிருஷ்ணன். அவர் ஒரு பெரிய மகான்.ஒருவருடைய உண்மை சொருபம் இரண்டு  நிலையில் தெரியும். ஒன்று குழந்தை,இன்னொன்று பைத்திய நிலை. தனக்கு 70 வயது ஆகிவிட்டதால் இனி குழந்தையாக முடியாது. ஆகவே உன்மத்த நிலையை அடையஅவர் ஊமத்தங்காயை சாப்பிட்டு,அந்நிலை அடைந்து தன்னைப் பரீட்சை செய்து கொண்டார்.

அந்த மகானுக்குக் கிடைக்காத பெரிய பாக்யம் ராமகிருஷ்ணனுக்குக் கிடைத்துள்ளது. அதாவது குழந்தைகளுடன் பழகும் பாக்யம்.

“அறம் செய்ய விரும்பு” போன்ற உயர்ந்த பாடத்தைக் குழந்தைகளுக்குக் கற்பிக்க ஆரம்பப் பள்ளிக்குச் செல்வதே பெரும் பாக்யம். குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஆரம்பப் பாடம் சொல்லிக் கொடுப்பதில் கௌரவக் குறைவு கிடையாது. அதுவே மேன்மைக்குக் காரணமாக அமையும் என்று ராமகிருஷ்ணனிடம் சொல்லுங்கள்”
என்று நண்பரிடம் சொன்னார் மாமுனிவர்.

தன் நிலையை அவராக அறிந்து இப்படிப்பட்ட அறிவுறை கூறி அனுப்பவ்வதற்கு, அந்த மகானைத் தவிர வேறு யாரால் முடியும் என்று புளகாங்கிதமடைந்த ராமகிருஷ்ண தீட்சிதர் ஆரம்பப் பள்ளி சேவையை ஏற்று பிற்காலத்தில் பல நன்மைகளைப் பெற்றார்.

It’s a great blessing to teach children in a primary school.

This incident is the experience of Adayapalam Sri Ramakrishna Dikshithar.

Descending from Appayya Dikshithar’s dynasty, after working for a prestigious position in a big school, working in a small school was not mentally agreeable – Shri Ramakrishna Dikshithar)

In 1986, when he was working as a Sanskrit teacher in a high school, due to the Government’s two language policy, he lost his job. But, for experienced senior teachers they gave jobs in other schools. Dikshithar was placed as a teacher in a primary school. After working in a honourable position in a High school, he was not mentally prepared to work in a small primary school and was hesitating to accept the job.

His friend Gokul went have a dharshan of Maha Periyavaa who was camping in Vijayawada at that time. Usually Dikshithar also accompanies him. But this time he didn’t go.

First question from Maha Periyavaa was “Where is Ramakrishnam?”

“I invited him to come along. But he said he is not in his sound state of mind” said Gokul.

Maha Periyavaa didn’t ask further about what happened. He started to say–

“This Ramakrishnan belongs to Appaya Dikshithar’s dynasty. Appayya Dishithar was a Great Mahaan. There are two stages to learn about a person’s true self. One as a kid and other if the person is in mentally unfit state. Since he was 70 years old, he couldn’t become a kid anymore. So to reach the mentally unfit state he ate “Oomathangai” (which makes a person lunatic) , reached that state and tested himself. Ramakrishnan has got the blessing and pleasure which that Mahaan didn’t get. That is the pleasure of being with the kids/children.

“It is a great pleasure to teach the Primary school children lessons like “Aram seiyya virumbu” (Wish to do Charity). There is no dishonor to teach Primary school children. It will itself become a reason for his greatness. Go and tell this to Ramakrishnan” said the Great Saint.

When Ramakrishnan heard this he was flattered thinking that “Who else can send me such good advice by knowing my state without anyone telling him”. He also accepted the Primary school job and gained many benefits in the future.
