நம்புவதற்கு இன்னொரு காரணம் சொல்கிறேன். ஸத்யமே பரம தர்மமென்று அத்தனை சாஸ்திரங்களும் சொல்கின்றன. பொய் சொல்வது மஹா பாபம் என்றும் அதற்காக எப்பேர்ப்பட்ட நரகாவஸ்தைகள் பட்டாக வேண்டுமென்றும் சாஸ்திரகாரர்கள் நிறையச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள். இப்படிச் சொன்னவர்களே, பொய்யாக ‘இது பாவம், இது புண்யம்’ என்று அத்ருஷ்டம் என்ற பெயரில் எதையாவது சொல்லித் தப்பித்துக் கொண்டுvவிடலாம் என்று விதிகளை எழுதிவைத்திருக்க முடியுமா? தங்களுக்கு ஏதோ ஒரு Grace-ல் reveal-ஆகியிருந்தாலொழிய [தெய்வ கிருபையில் வெளிப்பட்டிருந்தாலொழிய] அல்லது intuition-ஆக ஹ்ருதயத்திலிருந்து ஸத்யம் ஸ்புரித்திருந்தாலொழிய, “ஸத்யான் நாஸ்தி பரோ தர்ம:” (ஸத்யத்துக்கு மேலே எந்த தர்மமுமில்லை) என்று சொல்கிற சாஸ்திரகாரர்கள் எந்த ஒரு விதியையும் செய்திருக்க மாட்டார்கள். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள் மொழிகள்
I will give you another reason for reposing Faith in the rules and regulations of Aacharam stated by our ancestors. All scriptures declare that Truth is the supreme virtue and telling a lie amounts to sin that will lead to suffering all kinds of tortures in hell. Can such people fictitiously form certain rules making certain distinctions between ‘Paapa’ and ‘Punnya’ justifying them as imperceptible factors? It is only due to either Divine Grace or intuitive perception of heart felt Truth, these ancestors who considered Truth as the supreme virtue, must have structured these rules and regulations. – Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal
