A book (in Tamil) that covers the life history of Adi Shankaracharya in detail, written by Sri.Ra.Ganapathy (the author who wrote or complied the seven volume “Deivathin Kural” books) was published as a book in 1962 with a Sri Mukham from Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Matam. The book has seen several reprints. One of the latest known edition came out in 1998 under the banner of Divya Vidya Trust.
Since the 1998 edition is not available for purchase now, a fresh reprint of the 1998 edition was brought out by Vidyuth Publications on June 17 2017.

I have ordered the book in online and I got it today.
After reading the book again, tears came from my eyes as if I got a treasure, since I have read about two decades ago and I used tell the story to my son daily while going to bed.

I think this was the first work of Raa.Ganapathi.
It was serialised in the thamizh magazine ‘Kalki’.
Acharya’s Life History has been retold in simple Thamizh.

Thanks Mahesh for sharing this:) It will be really helpful for many devotees if the publisher also reprints the following list of books on Mahaperiyava by Ra Ganapathy Mama:
i) Sollin Selvar Kanchi Munivar
ii) Karunai Kanchi Kanakatharai
iii) Karunai Kadalil Sila Alaigal
iv) Maithreem Bhajata
v) Sankarar Engira Sangeetham
vi) Navarathri Nayagi
The above mentioned book are out of print/stock at the moment. Though they are available as a soft copy at Divya Vidya Trust’s website, there are lot of spelling mistakes and don’t let us enjoy the reading. Also nothing comes closer to read the material in hard copy format.
I believe many devotees will have the same thought and would be very happy to buy these book if available in shops.
