Below is the documentary ‘Ananthame Aanandham’ produced and directed by our sathsang seva volunteer Smt.C.P. Vijayalakshmi as an instrument of our Periyava on Sri Sakkarai Amma, a staunch Siva devotee and siddhar who attained Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1901.
Maha Periyava visited this place in the 1940s and performed tapas there for three days. The grand old gentleman who performed puja at that time is still there. There is a small Maha Periyava murthy in this temple. The details of this temple ares in the video as well as in the website below. By Periyava Krupa, it’s a great Bhagaiyam to hear about a great Siva bhaktha, mahan and spend an hour of watching her life history that has been very nicely done.
The exceptional work and research right from inception and all the way till direction really takes some effort and that reflects in every frame. It’s really neat and professionally done. I have asked her to do some interviews of Maha Periyava devotees and she has some grand plans for those.
