Yesterday, I opened up the browser but something came up and couldn’t post. Later this evening, Sri Suri’s email came with this painting done by his son. This morning when I opened up, I decided to post Ganapathy’s article and then I realized why Periyava made me wait to add this drawing also that goes very well with the article! All His play.
மஹா பெரியவா 1944 ல மூக பஞ்ச சதி ஸ்தோத்திரத்துக்கு ஒரு ஸ்ரீமுகம் கொடுத்துருக்கா. இன்னிக்கு அதை உங்களோட பகிர்ந்துக்கலாம்னு ஆசைப்படறேன். பெரியவாளுக்கு மூக பஞ்ச சதி மேல எவ்வளவு ப்ரியம், அதை எப்படி அனுபவிச்சிருக்காங்கிறதை பார்ப்போம். இரண்டு விஷயம் stress பண்ணி சொல்றா பெரியவா. இந்த கவியினுடைய 500 பாடல்களைக் கொண்டதான இந்த நூலில் சதகங்களின் தொடர்ச்சியிலே இந்த சிறப்பு ஒன்று காணப்படுகிறது, அப்படீன்னு அந்த 5 சதகங்கள் ஆர்யா சதகம், பாதாரவிந்த சதகம், ஸ்துதி சதகம், கடாக்ஷ சதகம், மந்தஸ்மித சதகம் னு அந்த தொடர்ச்சியில இருக்கிற சிறப்பை பத்தி தான் முக்யமா பேசியிருக்கா. அது தவிர, எந்த பரதேவதையை லாவண்யத்தின் பேரெல்லையாக இருக்கிறாளோ அதே பரதேவதை தான் ஆத்ம போதமாகிய அமுத அலைகளையுடைய கடலாகவும், குரு வடிவமாகவும் விளங்குகிறது. பிரம்மானந்த அனுபவத்தையும் அம்பாள் கொடுக்கறா என்கிற விஷயத்தை யும் விஸ்தாரமா சொல்லியிருக்கா. பெரியவா பொதுவாக புஸ்தகங்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீமுகம் கொடுக்கும் போது ஒரு 5, 6 வரிகள் அந்த ஸ்வஸ்தி வாசனம் முடிஞ்ச பின்ன, maximum ஒரு 10 வரி இருக்கும். அப்பறம் ஒரு நாலு வரி அந்த புஸ்தகத்தை வெளியிடறவாளை ஆஸிர்வாதம் பண்ணி, இதை படிக்கறவாளுக்கு எல்லா க்ஷேமமும் உண்டாகட்டும்னு சொல்வா.
இந்த மூக பஞ்ச சதிக்கு பக்கம்பக்கமா சொல்லியிருக்கா. அந்த ஸ்வஸ்தி வாசனத்துக்கு அப்பறம் வர்றதை நான் இப்ப படிக்கறேன்.
மஹாகவிகளுக்குச் சிரோமணியாகிய அதிக ப்ரஸித்தி பெற்று விளங்கிய மூகர் என்னும் பெரியார், ஸ்ரீ காமாக்ஷி தேவியின் கருணை ததும்புகின்ற கடாக்ஷதரங்கங்களையுடைய புண்ணியமான கவிதையமுதத்தால் நிறைந்தவராய், மூக பஞ்ச சதீ என்று இயற்றியவர் பெயரால் ப்ரஸித்தமானதும், உலகிலேயே மிகச் சிறந்ததுமான இந்த நூலை இயற்றி, பூமண்டலத்திலே இதனினும் மேலானதொன்று மில்லை என்னும்படியான புண்ணிய கீர்த்தியையும், சாசுவதமான பரமானந்த அனுபவத்தையும் அடைந்தார் என்பது நன்கு தெரிந்த விஷயமே.
