The rules of Aacharam have been framed keeping in mind psychological and other factors and exceptions have been made wherever necessary. This was the reason many rules have been imposed upon the Brahmins. Without realizing this, many people accuse the scriptures of being partial towards the Brahmins. If this is true, there will be fewer rules for Brahmins since they framed the scriptures.
