நம் ஆசார அநுஷ்டானங்கள் பூராவையும் ஸயன்ஸின் எல்லைக்குள் கொண்டு வந்து, அந்த அடிப்படையில் நிரூபித்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று நினைப்பது ஸரியில்லை என்கிறேன். ஸயன்ஸுக்கோ, நம்முடைய ஸோஷல் ஐடியாலஜிக்கோ, வேறெதற்கோ சாஸ்திரம் agree-ஆக வேண்டும் [ஒத்துப்போக வேண்டும்] என்கிற எண்ணமே தப்பு என்பது என் அபிப்ராயம். சாஸ்திரத்தின் ஸத்யம் அதன் சொந்தப் பிரமாணத்திலேயே இருக்கிறது. அது ரிஷிகள் கொடுத்த super-science [நம் விஞ்ஞானத்துக்கு அதீதமான உயர் விஞ்ஞானம்]. பாக்கி எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் இது பிரமாணமே தவிர, அவற்றின் basis-ல் (அடிப்படையில்) இதை ஒப்புக் கொள்வதென்பது தலைகீழ்ப் பாடம். நம்முடைய சிற்றறிவில் தோன்றும் social concept -களை [ஸமூஹக் கருத்துகளை] நாம் சாஸ்திரப்படி மாற்றிக் கொள்ள வேண்டுமேயன்றி, சாஸ்திரம் நம்முடைய ‘கான்ஸெப்டு’ க்கு வளைந்து கொடுக்க வேண்டுமென்று நினைப்பது தப்பு. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள் மொழிகள்

We should not attempt to bring all our traditions and rituals within the scientific ambit and prove them. The thought that our sastras should conform to science or any other social ideology is in itself wrong. The Truth of the scriptures is self declared. This is the Super Science given by our sages. This is the litmus paper for proving the the validity of the other sciences and it should not be vice versa. That is, the validity of this super science should not be sought from other sciences. We should alter the social concepts which are conceived by this limited brain of ours.
