As HH mentions, it is not only his mission but also ours. The following lines sums up all. Over the many chapters Periyava has repeatedly pleaded to all of us which will move even a mountain. என் காரியம் (Part 6-Complete)

அடுத்த சந்ததிக்கு எப்படியாவது வேதத்தை ரக்ஷித்துக்கொடுத்துவிட வேண்டும் என்ற ஆலோசனைதான் எனக்கு எல்லாவற்றையும்விட முக்கியமாக இருக்கிறது.

வேதம் ஏன் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றால், முதலில் அந்த மந்திர சப்தம் அதிலுள்ள யக்ஞாதி கர்மாக்கள் லோகத்தில் இருந்து கொண்டிருந்தாலே சகலருக்கும் பெரிய க்ஷேமம். இதனால் மழை, தன தானிய சுபிக்ஷம் உண்டாவதோடு ஜனங்களின் எண்ணங்களும் உத்தமமானதாக ஆகும். இரண்டாவதாக உலகம் முழுவதற்குமான ஒரு மதமாக வைதிகமே இருந்திருக்கிறது என்பது சகல தேசத்தவருக்கும் தெரிந்து, இதனாலேயே ஓர் ஒற்றுமை, சாந்தி ஏற்பட வேண்டுமானால், நம் தேசத்தில் வேதத்துக்கென்றே வாழ்க்கையை அர்ப்பணித்த (dedicate) ஒரு கூட்டம் இருந்து கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டும். இப்படியாக இன்றைக்கும் என்றைக்கும் நம் தேசத்துக்கு மட்டுமின்றி லோகம் முழுவதற்கும் சுபிக்ஷத்தையும் ஆத்ம சாந்தியையும் உண்டாக்குவதற்காகத்தான், வேத ரக்ஷணத்தை அதி முக்கியமாகச் சொல்லி வருகிறேன்.

வேதம் படிக்காமல் அடுத்த தலைமுறையில் ஒரு பிராம்மணன்கூட இருக்கக்கூடாது. அதட்டி மற்றவர்களை அதிகாரம் செய்வதற்காக பிராம்மணன் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று சொல்லவேயில்லை. நம் தேசம் மட்டுமல்லாமல் உலகம் முழுவதும் ஒன்றாகியிருப்பதாக, இவனிடம் வந்திருக்கிற ஆதிமூலமான தர்மத்தை இவன் காப்பாற்றிக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றே சொல்கிறேன்.

இங்கே நம் தேசத்தில் இப்படி ஒரு சின்ன கூட்டம் இருந்தால் லோகம் முழுவதும் எப்படி க்ஷேமமடையும் என்றால்… பவர் ஹவுஸ் இருக்கிறது. அங்கே நாலுபேர்தான் வேலை செய்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் ஊர் முழுக்கப் பிரகாசமாய் விடுகிறது. அந்த நாலுபேர் வேலை செய்யாவிட்டால் ஊரே இருட்டாகி விடுகிறது. இப்படியே லோக மங்கள தீபமான வேதத்தைத் தூக்கிப் பிடிக்க இங்கே கொஞ்சம்பேர் இருந்தால் போதுமானது. இதற்கான விதை முதலை எப்படியாவது காப்பாற்றித்தந்துவிட வேண்டும் என்கிற காரியத்துக்கே வந்திருக்கிறேன். இதற்காகவே எனக்குச் செய்கிற உத்ஸவங்களுக்கு ஒப்புக் கொண்டேன். இந்த உத்ஸவங்களில் போட்ட ‘ஜய ஜய சங்கர’, ‘ஹரஹர சங்கர’ கோஷம்தான் இத்தனை பேரை இங்கே என் பேச்சை கேட்க இழுத்து வந்திருக்கிறது. இப்படி ஒரு கோஷம், கீஷம் இருந்தால்தான் ஆள் சேர்ந்து அதன்மூலம் நாம் காரியத்தைப் சாதித்துக் கொள்ளப் பார்க்கலாம் என்றே ஒப்புக்கொண்டேன். எனக்கு உத்ஸவம் நடத்தியவர்கள் நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்க வேண்டும்; கேட்பதற்கு பிரயாசையாவது படவேண்டும்.

சிரமத்தோடு சிரமமாக எனக்காகவும் கொஞ்சம்படுங்கள். உங்களுக்காக எத்தனையோ காரியம் செய்து கொள்கிறீர்கள் – ஆபீஸ், பொழுதுபோக்கு இப்படி பலவிதமான பிஸினஸ் பண்ணுகிறீர்கள். எனக்காக இந்த வேத ரக்ஷணத்தைப் பண்ணுங்கள்.

எனக்காக, உங்களுக்காக என்று வித்தியாசம் என்ன? நான், நீங்கள் எல்லாம் ஒன்றுதான். என் காரியம் உங்கள் காரியம்தான். வேதத்தை ரக்ஷித்துவிட்டால் அதுதான் எல்லோருக்கும் பரம சிரேயஸைத் தருகிற ஒரே காரியம். இதைத் செய்வதால் க்ஷேமம் உங்களுக்கு, பெயர் எனக்கு.

My Mission (Part 6-Complete)

Somehow Vedas should be safeguarded and passed onto our next generation. That is top most priority contemplation for me than anything else.

Why do we need Vedas?. Every one will benefit out of the power of the sound of  Mantras and Yagnas prescribed there. By these not only there would be rain and prosperity but also purity of mind. Secondly once upon a time all over the world this Vedic religion was prevalent. If the people of all countries should learn this and on account of this knowledge if peace and unity is to be obtained then there should be an uninterrupted group here dedicating their life for Vedas. I am deeply stressing the importance of Vedas so as to get prosperity and peace not only for our country but for the entire world now and always.

There should be no Brahmin in the next generation devoid of Vedic studies. It is not for controlling others. I would never advocate that. I say this because he is obliged to preserve the Dharma, which is the foundation of universal unity.

One may question how this small group in our country can bring about the welfare of the whole world. In a power house only four people may be working but the entire region is lit. If those four don’t work then the whole region plunges into darkness. To uphold the auspicious Vedic light few persons are enough. I have come to  protect somehow the seeds that are to be sown. That is why I agreed for the festivities you had arranged for me. So many people were drawn here to listen to my talks due to  the loud chantings of ‘Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara’. I agreed because only by such loud chants people would gather and I could achieve my purpose. Those who celebrated me should listen to me; at-least make an effort to listen.

You encounter many difficulties. Let this be an additional one for my sake. You do so many things for you such as office work, recreation, etc. Do this Veda Rakshana for my sake.

Is there any difference such as for my sake or your sake? You and I are no different. My mission is your mission.  Protection of Vedas is the only task that would give great benefit to all. By doing this  you would get welfare and I will get the name.
