என் காரியம் (Part 2)

சிரமம் இல்லாமல் எந்தக் காரியமும் இல்லை. நாமாக ஒரு காரியத்தை இழுத்துப் போட்டுக் கொண்டால் அதற்காக எத்தனை கஷ்டத்தைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் சகித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்? ஏதோ ஒரு கண்டத்தில் உள்ள ஏதோ ஒரு யூனிவர்ஸிடியில் ஏதோ ஒரு படிப்பு பார்த்தால் பெரிய உத்தியோகம். பணம் கிடைக்கிறது என்கிறபோது உடனே ‘ஸிலபஸ்’ வரவழைத்து விடுகிறோம் – அங்கே போய் பரிட்சை எழுத ஏற்பாடெல்லாம் செய்கிறோம். நமக்கென்றே ஏற்பட்ட தர்மத்தை கஷ்டம் இருக்கிறது என்று விட்டுவிடலாமா? கஷ்டம் இருந்தும் செய்தால்தான் ஜாஸ்தி பலன், ஜாஸ்தி பெருமை.

இப்படி உங்களை கஷ்டப்படுத்தத்தான் வந்திருக்கிறேன். நான் சொன்ன பிரகாரம் செய்வதாக நீங்கள் சொல்லி, அதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை முடித்து வருகிற வரையில், இங்கேயே உட்கார்ந்து கஷ்டப்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருந்தால் என்ன என்று கூட நினைக்கிறேன். எங்கேயாவது உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு யாரையாவது உபத்திரவப்படுத்தத்தானே வேண்டும்? இங்கேதான் உட்கார்ந்து உபத்திரவம் பண்ணுவோமே என்று தோன்றுகிறது.

பட்டணங்களில் பஜனை, கோயில் திருப்பணி, புராணப்பிரவசனங்கள் எல்லாம் ரொம்பவும் விருத்தியாகியிருப்பதைப் பார்க்க, சந்தோஷமாகத்தான் இருக்கிறது. ஆனாலும், இவற்றுக்கொல்லாம் வேர்-மூலமான வேதம் – மட்கிப் போகவிட்டால், இவை அப்புறம் எத்தனை நாளைக்கு ஜீவிக்க முடியும்? வேதத்தை அப்பனிடமிருந்து பெற்று பிள்ளைக்குத் தரவேண்டும் என்கிற பெரிய தர்மந்தான் அஸ்திவாரம். அதை மறந்ததாலேயே இப்படி மதம் ஆட்டம் கண்டிருக்கிறது. பிராம்மணன் வேதத்தை விட்டதால் இன்றைக்கு லோகத்தில் உள்ள அத்தனை கோளாறுகளும், கஷ்டங்களும், விபரீதங்களும் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கின்றன.

ஜாதி அழிவதைப் பற்றி எனக்குக் கவலையில்லை. லோக க்ஷேமம் போகிறதே என்றுதான் கவலைப் படுகிறேன். வேத ரக்ஷணம் விட்டுப்போனால் இந்தப் பரம்பரையை மறுபடியும் உண்டு பண்ணவே முடியாதே என்றுதான் கவலைப்படுகிறேன்.

‘லோக க்ஷேமம்’ என்று சொன்னது வேத சப்தத்தாலும், யக்ஞாதி கர்மாக்களாலும் ஏற்படுகிற நன்மையை மட்டுமல்ல. வேதாந்தத்தைப் பார்த்தால்தான் சகல தேசங்களில் உள்ளவர்களுக்குமே பொதுப்படையான மகோன்னதத் தத்துவங்கள் கிடைக்கின்றன. இந்தத் தத்வங்களால் எல்லா தேசத்தாரும் ஆத்மாபிவிருத்தி அடைகிறார்கள். வேதாந்தத்தைப் பார்க்க வேண்டும் என்று இதர தேசத்தவர்களுக்கு எப்படி நாட்டம் வந்தது? அவர்கள் இங்கே வந்தபோது வேத ரக்ஷணமே ஜீவியப் பணி என்று ஒரு கூட்டம் இருந்ததால்தான். “இதென்ன. இப்படி வாழ்க்கை முழுவதும் அர்ப்பணிக்கும்படியான புஸ்தகம்!” என்று அவர்களுக்கு ஓர் ஆர்வம் பிறந்தது. அதை ஆராய்ச்சி செய்தார்கள். பல விஷயங்களைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டார்கள். குறிப்பாக உலகம் முழுவதிலும் உள்ள பண்பாடுகளில் (Culture) இருக்கிற ஒற்றுமைகளை இந்த ஆராய்ச்சியால் தெரிந்து கொண்டார்கள். லோகத்துக்கெல்லாம் உபயோகம் என்பது மட்டுமில்லாமல், லோகம் முழுக்கவே வேத கல்ச்சர்தான் ஆதியில் இருந்தது என்பது என் அபிப்ராயம். நன்றாக ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்தால் மற்றவர்களும் இந்த அபிப்ராயத்துக்கு வரலாம். எல்லாருக்கும் பொதுவாக ஒன்று இருப்பதாக அறிவதிலேயே சர்வதேச சௌஜன்யம் ஸர்வ மத சமரஸ பாவனை எல்லாம் வந்துவிடுகிறது. அது தவிர, இதன் தத்வங்களால் எந்த மதஸ்தர்களும் தங்களை உயர்த்திக் கொள்ளவும் முடிகிறது. வேதத்துக்காக என்றே சகலத்தையும் தியாகம் செய்கிற ஒரு கூட்டம் நம் தேசத்தில் இல்லா விட்டால், மற்றவர்களுக்கு அதில் எப்படிப் பிடிப்பு ஏற்படும்? உதவாத விஷயம் என்று நாமே ஒன்றை விட்டுவிட்டால், மற்றவர்களுக்கு அதன் தாத்பரியங்களை அறிவதில் எப்படி ஈடுபாடு உண்டாகும்? அதாவது, நம் அசிரத்தையால் வேதத்திலிருந்து பிறர் பெறக்கூடிய பிரயோஜனத்தை அவர்களும் பெற முடியாமல் தடுத்தவர்களாகிறோம். நம் தேசத்தின் சகல ஜாதியாரை உத்தேசித்து மட்டுமின்றி எல்லாத் தேச மக்களையும் உத்தேசித்து வேத பரம்பரையைத் தொடர்ந்து இருக்கப் பண்ண வேண்டியது இப்போதைய தலைமுறையின் பெரிய பொறுப்பு. இதைச் செய்யாமல் எனக்குக் கனகாபிஷேகம் செய்து பிரயோஜனம் இல்லை.

பின் ஏன், கனகாபிஷேகத்துக்கு ஒப்புக் கொண்டேன் என்றால், அப்படி ஒப்புக் கொண்டால்தான் இப்படி உத்ஸவக் கூட்டமாக நீங்கள் கூடுகிறீர்கள். நான் சொல்ல வேண்டியதைக் கேட்பதற்கு நிறைய ஆள் கிடைக்கிறீர்கள். கூட்டம் சேர்த்து என் காரியத்தை நடத்திக் கொள்வதற்காகத்தான் உங்கள் ஆசையைப் பூர்த்தி பண்ணினேன்.

My Mission (Part 2)

Every job requires exertion. If we voluntarily undertake something we bear  all the difficulties that comes on the way. If we come to know that by studying a certain course in a certain university in certain continent, we can earn a great job and lots of money, then we immediately arrange to get the syllabus. We arrange to go there to write the exam. Can we discard our own Dharma because it is difficult? It gives more benefit and better credits if followed even amidst difficulties.

So I have come to trouble you. I think why not stay here and trouble you till you agree to what I say and complete the preparations. I have to sit somewhere and trouble someone. Why not do it here?

It is nice to see that bhajans, services for temples, and religious discourses (upanyasams) are spreading well.  But if  Vedas, root of all these rot , then how can these other things survive? Father has the dharma to pass the Veda dharma on to his son. This is the foundation.  Since it is forgotten the foundation is shaking. Discarding Vedas by Brahmins has caused  troubles, miseries, and discord in the entire world.

I am not worried about declination of the caste. I am worried about the loss of world welfare . My worry is if Veda Rakshana is lost then it is impossible to rebuild such a generation.

‘Loka Kshemam’ is not only the benefit accrued out of sound of Vedas and Yagnas. People from all over the world in general can derive philosophy from Vedanthas in a great way. These doctrines give spiritual upliftment to all the people. Do you know why those in other countries developed an aptitude for Vedantha? When they came they saw a big group here doing Veda Rakshanam as the mission of their life.

They were curious to know about the book which made people dedicate to it their entire life. They made research and learnt many things. Especially the similarities between the cultures all over the world as a result of their research. My opinion is Vedic religion was not only beneficial to the world, it was the only one that was prevalent everywhere. By extensive research one can arrive at this conclusion. By knowing that there was something common to us all, we develop amiable feeling towards all the countries and harmonious  feeling towards all the religions.

Also this helps other religious people  also to uplift themselves. How could they be inspired unless there is a big group in our country which sacrifices everything for Vedas. If we ourselves discard thinking it is useless then how would the others be interested to know its doctrines? Because of our disinterest we deprive others the benefit they could derive from Vedas. The great responsibility lying with the present generation is to continue the Vedic lineage not only for the welfare of other caste in our country but for people in all nations of this world. Without doing this performing Kanakabhishekam to me is useless.

Then what made me agree for Kanakabhishekam is that, only then there would be such large festive gathering and I would get more people to listen to what I say. I fulfill your desire to have my mission accomplished.
