I regret to inform you all that Sri Ganapathy Sthapathi mama, who needs no introduction, passed away this morning on an auspicious Ekadasi thithi….We all know how much Saraswathi kataksham and Periyava anugraham he had all his life. Orikkai is one project that will stand for another 100 years or more that would speak about mama’s work.

    ‘RIP’ is a Christian expression, where they expect the soul to rest in peace till Judgment Day.

    In Sanatana Dharma, that is not what we believe. What would be an appropriate expression for us to use?

  2. One of the very few devotees who was very close to Sri MAHA periyavar and used to have his blessings .many temples will hold testimony for this great soul.we pray that we must make ourselves eligible for Sri Mahaperiyava’s And Graham, like this exemplary man.

Ganapathy sthapath was a great bhathar of Mahaperiava.I happened to listen to his experiences with Mahaperiava one afternoon at Oorikkai.The temple work was in progress at the time .With choked eyes he was telling that he failed to recognise Mahaperiava as Parameshwara when was talking to him on a number of occasions. My namaskarams to this punya athma.
