                                   ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ  மஹாபெரியவாளின் மகிமை  (21-1-2009) 

“தர்ம காவலர்”

சுகபிரம்மரிஷி அவர்களின் உயர்விற்கு உதாரணமாகத் திகழும் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளெனும் யோகமூர்த்தி சாட்சாத் சர்வேஸ்வரரின் மறுஉருவமேயன்றி வேறில்லை என்பது பல பக்தர்களின் அனுபவ பாக்யமாகின்றது.

தன் அவதாரத்தில் ஸ்ரீராமன் மகிமைகளை மறைத்து தர்மசீலத்தை காத்ததுபோலவே எச்சமயமானாலும், எந்த சந்தர்ப்பமானாலும் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் தவசீலர் தர்மவழிகளிலிருந்து  இம்மியும் நகராமல் அதே சமயம் பக்தர்களுக்கும் இதமான அனுக்ரஹத்தை வழங்கிய சமயங்கள் ஏராளம்.

கடல்தாண்டி போவதென்பது தர்மவழிப்படி ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்படாத நிலையில் ஒரு பக்தர் அயல்நாட்டில் உத்யோகம் பார்க்கும் நிர்பந்தத்திலும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியாளின் நினைவாகவே எப்போதும் இருப்பவர். அந்த மகானைப் பரிபூர்ணமாக பக்தி செய்யும் பாக்யம் பெற்ற அந்த அன்பர் ஒருமுறை வெளிநாட்டிலிருந்து பாரதபூமிக்கு சாட்சாத் ஈஸ்வரரான ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளை தரிசிக்கக் கிளம்பிவந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்.

இங்கே அந்த ஈஸ்வரரோ மடத்துசிப்பந்திகளிடம் இந்த வகையான சமையல் செய்து வைக்குமாறு தானே பிரத்யேகமாகக் கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.  கைங்கர்யம் செய்பவர்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இப்படிச் சொல்வதன் காரணம் தெரியவில்லை. இருந்தாலும் வகை வகையாக சமையல் தயாரகின்றன.

அந்த பக்தர் அயல்நாட்டிலிருந்து  ஸ்ரீபெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்கு வந்து நிற்கிறார். வந்தவரைப் பார்த்து.   ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளெனும் கருணாமூர்த்தி “இவருக்கு உடனே ஆகாரம் பண்ணி வையுங்கோ” என்று கைங்கர்யம் செய்பவர்களுக்கு கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.

பக்தர் வந்ததும் வராததுமாக முதல் வேலையாய் இப்படி சாப்பிட அனுப்புவதன் நோக்கம் அவர்களுக்குப் புரியவில்லை. ஆனால், எங்கிருந்தோ  ஒரு பக்தன் தன்னை தரிசிக்க வருவான், அவன் இந்த நிலையில்தான் வருவானென்பது ஈஸ்வரருக்கு மட்டுமே தெரிந்த ரகசியமாகும்.

பசி தீர பக்தர் சாப்பிட்டபின் திரும்பவும் ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளிடம் வந்து தரிசிக்க நிற்கிறார்.

“என்ன உன் விரதம் பூர்த்தி ஆச்சோன்னோ?” ஸ்ரீபெரியவா கருணாசாகரராய் கேட்க பக்தர் ஆச்சர்ய மிகுதியால் விக்கித்து நிற்கிறார்.

“பெரியவா பெரியவா” என்று கண்கள் பனிக்க எதிரே நிற்கும் திருஉரு சாட்சாத் தெய்வமென்று உணர்ந்த மகா பாக்கியம் அவருக்கு.

தெய்வமே இப்போது அந்த உண்மையை எடுத்தியம்புகிறது. “இவர் வெளிநாட்டிலேர்ந்து புறப்பட்டதிலேர்ந்து ஆகாரமே பண்ணலே…. என்னை தரிசிக்கிறவரைக்கும் ஆகாரம் பண்ணக்கூடாதுன்னு சங்கல்பம் பண்ணிண்டு விரதமா வந்திருக்கார்”. இப்படி ஸ்ரீபெரியவா எல்லோர் மனதிலும் தான் இருந்துக் கொண்டு அவரவர் மன எண்ணங்கள் யாவையும் அறிந்தவராய் கூறினார்.

அங்கே கூடியிருந்த அனைவரும் இதைக்கேட்டு வியப்புற்றனர். அந்த பக்தரோ, உலகின் கோடனுகோடி பக்தர்களுக்குள் தன் ஒருவனுக்காக மட்டுமா இந்த காருண்யம் பொழிகிறது? சகல லோகத்துக்கும் அல்லவா தனித்தனியாக அனுக்ரஹம் கிட்டுகிறது என்ற மனநிறைவோடு நின்றார்.

இந்த  பக்தர் சாப்பிடச் சென்றபோது ஸ்ரீபெரியவா அங்கிருந்தவர்களிடம் இப்படிக் கேட்டிருக்கிறார்.

“இங்கே வந்திருக்காரே இவர் கிட்டேயிருந்து நான் என்ன வாங்கிக்கலாம்னு சொல்லுங்கோ” என்று மிகவும் வித்யாசமாகக் கேட்டிருக்கிறார். ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளா  இப்படிக் கேட்டுப் பார்த்ததில்லையே என்று அவர்களால் பதில் சொல்ல இயலவில்லை.

இப்போது அந்த பக்தர் சாப்பிட்டபின் தரிசிக்க நின்றபோது, திரும்பவும் மற்றவர்களைப் பார்த்து “இவர் கிட்டே என்ன வாங்கலாம்?” என்று கேட்டுவிட்டு  “சரி இவரை அழைச்சுண்டு போய் எள்ளுப் புண்ணாக்கையும், தையல் இலையையும் எனக்காக வாங்கித் தரச்சொல்லி வாங்கிக்கோங்கோ” என்று ஆபூர்வமாகக் கேட்டு, வந்த பக்தருக்கு பூர்ண அனுக்ரஹம் செய்து ஸ்ரீபெரியவா அனுப்பி வைத்தார்.

பெருந்தெய்வம் தன்னிடம் வலியக் கேட்டு வாங்கிக்கொண்ட பேரருளில் ஏதோ ஒரு சூட்சமம் இருக்குமென்ற திருப்தி நினைப்போடு பக்தர் அகன்று சென்றார்.

கைங்கர்யம் செய்பவர்களுக்கோ இதன் சஸ்பென்ஸ் விளங்காத தவிப்பு மேலிட்டது.

பிறகு அவர்களை தவிக்கவிடாமல் தர்மத்தின் தலைவராய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எள்ளுப் புண்ணாக்கு ரகசியத்தை விடுவித்தார்.

“என்ன பெரியவா புண்ணாக்கை கேட்கறாளேன்னு பயந்துட்டேளா?” என்று சற்றே நகைத்தவாறு கேட்டுவிட்டு, “இந்த பக்தர் சிரத்தையா அபிமானமா இருக்கார். பிரியத்தினாலே அவர்கிட்டேருந்து எனக்கு எதையாவது சேர்க்கணும்னு ரொம்ப ஆசைப்படறார்.  ஆனா கடல் கடந்து போனவாக்கிட்டேயிருந்து அப்படி  வாங்கிக்கறது தர்மமாகாதோன்னோ” என்று சொல்லி கொஞ்சம் சிந்திக்க அவகாசம் கொடுப்பவர்போல் நிறுத்தினார்.

“இப்போ நீங்க என்ன பண்றேள்……. இந்தப் புண்ணாக்கை  மடத்துப் பசுமாட்டுக்குக் கொடுங்கோ ….. அந்த பசுகிட்டேர்ந்து தினமும் கறக்கிற பாலைக் கொடுங்கோ….. ஏத்துக்கிறேன்……. இப்போ இவர் கொடுத்த புண்ணாக்கை பசு சாப்பிட்டு அது கொடுக்கற பாலில் அந்த தோஷம் போயிடறதோன்னோ…… பசு மாட்டு வழியா வந்தா எல்லா தோஷமும் நிவர்த்தியாயிடும்…….. அவர் கொடுத்த மாதிரியுமாச்சு, நான் ஏத்துண்ட மாதிரியுமாச்சு”.

இப்படி தன் தர்மத்திற்கு சிறிதும் குந்தகம் ஏற்படாத வகையில் அதே சமயம் தன் மேல் பக்தி கொண்ட அன்பரின் ஆவலையும் பூர்த்தி செய்யும் வகையிலும் பேரானுக்ரஹமான ஒரு வழியை வகுக்கும் பாங்கு ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளெனும் மாமுனிவரையின்றி வேறு யாரிடமும் காண இயலுமா என்பது கேள்விக்குறியே!

ஈஸ்வரர் அருளும் பிரம்மபிரசாதம்
ஒருமுறை தரிசனத்தின்போது பரமேஸ்வரரான ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளிடம் ஒரு அடியார் குறைப்பட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

“ஆதியில் பிரம்மதேவரைக் குறித்துத்தான் அமரர், அசுரர் ஆகிய பலரும், ரிஷிகளும் தவமிருந்து பிரம்மனின் பிரசாதத்தால்தான் விசேஷ பலன்களைப் பெற்றிருக்கிறார்கள்.  ஆனால் பின்னாளில் பிரம்மனுக்கு வழிபாடில்லை என்றாகிவிட்ட பிறகு, மூம்மூர்த்திகளில் ஒருவராக  உள்ள பிரம்மாவின் பிரசாதம் கிடைக்க வழியே இல்லாமல் ஆகிவிட்டது.”

இப்படிக் குறைப்பட்டுக்கொண்டவரை மூம்மூர்த்திகளைத்  தன்னுள் அடக்கிய முனிவர் “அப்படியா சொல்றே? பிரம்ம பிரசாதம் நமக்கு கிடைக்க வழியில்லைன்னா சொல்றே?” என்று  ஒன்றும் அறியாதவராய் நாடகம் புரிந்தார்.

“அப்படித்தானே ஆயிருக்கு” என்றார் அந்த பக்தர்.

“ஒஹோ”   என்று ஸ்ரீபெரியவா அப்படியில்லையே என்ற பொருள் பொதிந்தாற்போல் ஒரு சந்தேகத்தோடு கேட்டார்.

சரியாக அதே சமயம் ஒரு அன்பர் ஸ்ரீபெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்கு வந்தார். ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளை நமஸ்கரித்துத் தான் கொண்டுவந்த பிரசாதங்களை சமர்ப்பித்தார்.

ஸ்ரீபெரியவா முதலில் பிரசாதத்தை சிரசில் வைத்துகொண்டு அப்புறம் எடுத்து தன் திருக்கரத்தில் வைத்துக்கொண்டார். இதுபோன்ற இன்னும் பல சந்தர்பங்களில் நடராஜரின் பிரசாதம், வைத்தீஸ்வரன் கோயில் பிரசாதம், பண்டரிநாதனின் பிரசாதம் என சம்பவங்களுக்கு ஒத்துப்போகும் வகையில் ஸ்ரீபெரியவா சன்னதியில் தானே வந்து சேரும் அதிசயங்கள் நிகழ்ந்துள்ளன.

ஆனால் சிவன், விஷ்ணு பிரசாதங்கள் வரும் சாத்யம் பிரம்ம பிரஸாதத்திற்கு இல்லாததால் குறைப்பட்டுக் கொண்டு நின்ற அடியார், சன்னதியில் இந்தப் பிரசாத வரவை அத்தனை சிரத்தையாக நோக்கவில்லை.

ஆனால் ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளோ, தன் திருக்கரத்தில் வைத்துக்கொண்டுள்ள பிரஸாதத்தை சுட்டிக்காட்டி  “நீ கிடைக்கவே கிடைக்காதுன்னு சொன்னயே….. அந்த பிரசாதம் இதோ உனக்குக்  கிடைக்கிறது பார்” என்று அதை ஒரு தட்டில் வைத்து பக்தரிடம் நகர்த்தினார்.

பக்தர் இதை சற்றும் எதிர்ப்பார்க்காத ஆனந்தத்தில் நமஸ்கரித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டாலும்  “அதெப்படி இவர் பிரம்ம பிரசாதம் கொண்டு வரமுடியும்……பிரம்மாவுக்கு ஒன்றோ ரெண்டோ கோயில்தானே இருக்கு”  என்று தன் சந்தேகத்தை ஸ்ரீபெரியவாளிடம் கேட்டார்.

“இன்னிக்கு அமாவாசையும், ஸோமவாரமும் சேர்த்து வந்திருக்கோன்னோ? அச்வத்த பிரதட்சண தினம் இல்லையா….பிரதட்சணம் பண்ணி அந்த பிரசாதம் தான் இது” என்று ஸ்ரீபெரியவா கூறினார்.

“நான் கிடைக்காதுன்னு சொன்னது பிரம்ம பிரசாதம்னா?” என்று அன்பர் விடாமல் கேட்டார்.

“ஆமாம் அதுதான் கிடைச்சிருக்கு. இந்தப் பிரசாதத்தில் மூணில் ஒரு பங்கு அதுதான்” ஸ்ரீபெரியவா உறுதியாக சொன்னார்.

“நான் மண்டு…… புரியலே….. பெரியவாதான் புரிய வைக்கணும்” அன்பர் அழமாட்டாத குறையாக வினவினார்.

“அச்வத்த விருட்சம் திரிமூர்த்தி சொரூபமாச்சே! ‘மூலதோ பிரம்ம ரூபாய….மத்யதோ விஷ்ணு ரூபிணே…….. அக்ரத: சிவரூபாய வ்ருக்ஷராஜாய தே நம:’  ன்னு ஸ்தோத்ரம் பண்ற பழக்கமாச்சே……… உனக்குத் தெரியாதா” என்று ஸ்ரீபெரியவா கேட்க அப்போதுதான் பக்தருக்கு பளிச்சென்று புரியாலாயிற்று. மூம்மூர்த்திகளும் வாசம் செய்யும் அரசமர பிரசாதத்தில் மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கு பிரம்ம பிரசாதமாகிறதல்லவா?

ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளெனும் மாபெரும் தெய்வ சன்னதியில் பிரம்ம பிரசாதமும் அதிசயமாக அதே சமயம் இயல்பாகக் கிடைத்த வினோதத்தை இந்த அன்பர் அனுபவித்தார்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட அபூர்வ தெய்வம் தானே வந்து நம்மை ஆட்கொண்டு சகல ஐஸ்வர்யங்களையும், சர்வ மங்களங்களையும் அருளுவது நாம் செய்த பாக்யமன்றோ!!!

தெய்வாமிருதம்   –  ஒரு துளி

ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணபிரான் எப்படி கீதோபதேசம் என்ற புனித நூலில் உயிருள்ளவனாய் காட்சியருளுகிறானோ,  அதே போல் தெய்வத்தின் குரல் எனும் நூல் வழியே ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாள் நம்மிடையே அனுக்ரஹ வள்ளலாய் திருவாக்கினால் பேசிக்கொண்டே வாழ்ந்தருளுகிறார்…….. ஆகவே தெய்வத்தின் குரல் எல்லோர் இல்லத்திலும் அவசியம் வைத்து பூஜிக்கப் படவேண்டிய மகா புண்ணிய பொக்கிஷம்” என்று ஒரு அன்பர் கூறினார். அதன்படி அந்த அருள்வாக்குப் புனிதக் கடலிலிருந்து சிறு துளிகளை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் மகிமையோடு சேர்த்து காணலாம்.

“வாழ்க்கையில் நல்லநிலைக்கு வரவேண்டுமென்பது பிறருக்கெல்லாம் உபகாரம் செய்வதற்காகத்தான்.  நிறைய சம்பாதித்து அதையெல்லாம் நமக்காகவே செலவழித்துக் கொண்டால் சுவாமி சந்தோஷப்படமாட்டார். அவருக்கு நாம் எப்படிக் குழந்தையோ, அதே மாதிரி ஏழை நோயாளிகள், அநாதைகள் எல்லோரும் குழந்தைகள். நீங்களே  சாப்பிடுவதைவிட, ஒர் ஏழைக்கு சாப்பாடு போட்டால் அதில் உங்களுக்கு இன்னும் ஜாஸ்தி இன்பம் உண்டாகும். இப்படி உங்களால் முடிந்த உபகாரத்தை எளியோருக்கு செய்து மனதை குளிர வைத்தால், அதைப் பார்த்து சுவாமியும் உங்களிடம் மனம் குளிர்ந்து நிரம்ப அருள் செய்வார்” – தெய்வத்தின் குரல்.

“PROTECTOR  OF  DHARMA”

It  is  the  experience  of  many  devotees  that   Yoga  Murthy   Sri  Sri  Sri  MahaperiavA,  who  shines  as  an  example of  the  high  status  of   Suka  Brahma  Rishi  is  none  other  than  the  incarnation  of   Lord  Parameswaran.

There  are  plenty  of   occasions  when  Sri  Sri  Sri  MahaperiavA  did  not  slip from  ‘DhArmic’  paths  at  any  time  and  on  any  occasion,  just  like  Sri  Raman  protected  ‘DharmA’  during  His  AvatAr,  and  at  the  same  time  gave  His  soothing  Anugraham  to  devotees.

A  devotee   was  under the   compulsion  of  working  in  a  foreign  country,  (though  as  per  SAstrAs,  crossing  the  sea  was  not  permitted  for  a  Brahmin);  but  his  thoughts  were  always  of  Sri  PeriavA.  Once,  the  devotee  who  always  used  to  worship  Sri  PeriavA,  was  travelling  to  BhArath  to  have  His   Dharsan.

But,  in  the  Matam  here,   Eswarar  was  giving  orders   to  the  attendants,  to  prepare  meals  in  a  specific  manner. The  attendants  could  not  understand  the  reason  behind  these  specific  instructions.  All  the  same, meals  with  different  items,  were  prepared.

The  devotee  from  the  foreign  country  comes  there  and  stands  in  front  of  Sri  Periava  for  His  darsan.  Sri  Periava,  the  epitome  of  compassion,  tells  the  attendants  to  take  him  and  give  him  lunch  first.  They  could  not  understand  the  purpose  of  this  instruction  to  feed  the  devotee  no  sooner  than  he  arrives. But  it  is  a  secret  known  to  that  Eswaran  only   that  a  devotee  will  arrive  from  somewhere  and  in  a  particular  state.

The  devotee  comes  back  after  having  a  satisfactory  meal  and  stands  in  front  of  Sri  Periava.

Sri  Periava,  then  asks  him,  “Have  your  ‘VratA’(vow)  been  fulfilled?”  and  the  devotee  just  stands  there,  totally  stunned.

He  just  mumbles  “Periava”  “Periava”   with  tears  swelling  up  in  his  eyes,  realizing  that  the  figure  in  front  of  him  is  ‘SAkSAt’  the  Almighty  only.

The  Almighty  Himself  now  reveals  the  truth.   Residing  in  every  one’s  mind  and  knowing   the  thoughts  of  each  and  everyone,   Sri  Periava  says,   “He  has  not  eaten  anything  from  the  time  he  started  from  there;  he  has  started  with  the  vow  that  he  will  not  eat  anything  till  he  has  my  Darsan”.

All  those  who  had  gathered  there  were  surprised.  The  devotee,  with  a  totally  fulfilled  state of  mind,  thinks,  ‘Is  this  compassion  flowing  only  for  me  among  the  millions  of  devotees ?  No,  each  and  everyone  in   the  entire  world  receives  this  compassion’.

Earlier,  when  the  devotee  had  gone  for  his  meals,  Sri  Periava  had  asked  those  who  were  there,  “tell  me  what  is  that  I  can  accept  from  this  person  who  has  come  here  now?”  They  could  not  answer  as  they  had  never  heard  Sri  Periava  asking  like  this.

Now  when  the  devotee  had  eaten  and  was  standing  in  front  of  Him,  He  once  again  asked  all  of  them,  “What  is  that  I  can  accept  from  him?”.  Then  He  continued,  “Ok !  Ask  him  to  buy  (sesame) oil  cakes  and  hand– stitched  leaves  for  me  and  accept  them.”  Saying  this,  He  blessed  the  devotee  and  sent  him  off.

The  devotee   went  away  with  a  fully  satisfied  mind  that  there  is  some  subtle  purpose    why   Sri  Periava  had  asked   for  and  accepted  those  two  items  from  him.

But  the  attendants  were  unable  to  understand  (Sri  Periava’s  strange  request).

Periava,  then  revealed  the  secret  behind  the  sesame  oil  cakes.  “Were  all  of   you  scared  why  Periava  is  asking  for  sesame  oil  cakes? (laughs  and  continues).  This  devotee  has  trust  in  me  and  is  very  affectionate  towards  me.  Because  of  this  affection  he  wants  to  offer  something  to  me.  But  it  is  not  proper  (for  me)  to  accept  anything  from  somebody  who  has  crossed  the  ocean  and  gone  abroad,  is  it  not?”—saying  this  He  pauses  for  some  time,  to  ponder.

“You  know  what  I  want  you  to  do?  Give  this  oil  cakes  to  the  cow  in  the  Matam,  and  give  me  the  milk  from  that  cow  daily,  and  I  will  accept  it.  The  impurity  will  go  away,  once  the  cow  eats  it  and  gives  milk.  All  impurities  will  go  off  when  they  come  through  a  cow,  is  it  not?  It  is  same  as  he  has  given  me  something  and  I  have  accepted  it.”

It  is  a  big  question  if  anyone  else  other  than  Sri  Mahaperiava   can   find  a  way,  to  stick  to  SAstrAs  and  at  the  same  time,  satisfy  the  devotee  with  His  Anugraham,  as  evident  from  this  incident.

Brahma  PrasAdham  from  Eswaran.

Once,  a  devotee  made  a  complaint  to  PeriavA,  the  ParamEswaran.

“In  the  beginning,  all  the  DhEvAs,  AsurAs,  and  Rishis  have undertaken  penance  towards  BrahmA   only  and  received   various  boons  with  BrahmA’s  ‘PrasAdham’  only.  But  later  on,  when  it  was  ordained  that  there  would  be  no  ‘PoojA’  for  BrahmA,  there  was  no  way  to  get  ‘PrasAdham’  from  BrahmA.”

The  sage  who  confines  all  the  three  MOORTHIES  within  Him , acting   as  if  He  does  not  know  anything,  said,  “Is  that  what  you  think?  Are  you  saying  that  there  is  no  way  to  get  Brahma  PrasAdham?”.

The  devotee  replied,  “that  is  what it  has  come  to,  is  it  not?”.

“Is  that  so?”—asked    Sri  Periava,   in  a  doubtful  tone   implying  that  it  is  not  so.

Right  at  that  moment  another  devotee  came  there  for  Darsan.  After  prostrating  before  Sri  Periava,  he  submitted   ‘PrasAdham’s  which  he  had  brought  with  him.

Sri  Periava  took  it  and placed  it  first  on  His  own  head  and  then  kept  it  in  His  hand.  On  many  other  occasions  like  this  also,  PrasAdhams  from  Natarajar,  Vaiththeeswaran,  and  PandarinAthan  temples  have  been  received  in  Sri  PeriavA’s  ‘Sannidhi’,   coinciding  with  some  incidents  like  this.

But  the  devotee  did  not  pay  much  attention  to  the  receipt  of   these  ‘PrasAdhams’  as  he  was  under  the  impression   that   there  was  no  chance  of  getting  ‘BrahmA  PrasAdham’.

But  Sri  PeriavA  pointed  to  the  ‘PrasAdham’  kept  in  His  hand  and  said,  “Look !  Here  is  the  ‘PrasAdham’  which  you    considered  impossible  to  get;  take  it”.  Saying  this  He  kept  it  in  a  plate  and  moved  it  towards  him.

The  devotee  prostrated  before  Him  and  accepted  the  ‘PrasAdham’  with  unexpected  joy;  but  still  persisted    “ How  could  he  bring  the  BrahmA  PrasAdham?  There  are  only  one  or  two  temples  for  BrahmA !”

“Both   SOmavAram (Monday)  and  new  moon  day  (aMAVAsyA) have  occurred  together  today.  This  PrasAdham  has  come  after  the  circumambulation  of  ‘Aswatha’  tree (  அரச  மரம்—PEEPAL  TREE.)”.  –said  Sri  PeriavA.

“But,  what  I  was  mentioning  as  impossible  to  get   was  BrahmA  PrasAdham?”—-persisted  the  devotee.

Sri  PeriavA    reconfirmed,  “Yes !  That  is  what  we  have  got  now.  One  third  of  this  PrasAdham  is  that.”

“I  am  a  stupid  fellow.  I  cannot  understand;  PeriavA  only  should  make  it  clear  to  me.”—said  the  devotee  on  the  verge  of  tears.

“Aswatha  tree  is  ‘Thrimoorthy (BrahmA,  Vishnu  and  Siva)  ‘swaroopam’,  do  you  know ?  ‘MoolathO  Brahma  RoopAya;  MadhyathO  Vishnu  RoopinE;…Agratha:  SivaroopAya  Vruksha  RAJAya  thE  Nama:’  Don’t  you  know  that  the  tree  is  worshipped  by  chanting  this  slOkA ?”— When  Sri  PeriavA   asked  him  like  this,  then  only  the  devotee  understood.  One   third of  the ‘PrasAdham’  from  the  circumambulation  of  the  Peepal  tree,  where  the  ‘Thrimoorthies’  reside,  is  certainly  Brahma  PrasAdham  only,  is  it  not?

This  devotee  experienced  the  joy  of  receiving  the  Brahma  PrasAdham  in  a  surprising  but  at  the  same  time  natural  way,  in  the  Divine  Sannidhi  of  Sri  Sri  Sri  MahAperiavA.

Is  it  not  our  good  fortune  that  such  an  extra ordinary  God  should   come  and   bless  us  with  all  the  wealth   and  prosperity !

One  devotee  has  said, “Just  like  Sri  KrishnapirAn  shows  Himself  alive  in  His  holy   ‘GeetOpadEsam’,  Sri  Sri  MhaPeriavA  also,  lives  in  and  speaks  to   all  of  us  through   His  holy  speeches   in  the  book  ‘Deivathin  Kural’  and  blesses  us.  Therefore  ‘Deivathin  Kural’  is  a    great   treasure  which  should  be  kept  in  every  one’s  house  and  worshipped.   “Accordingly,  let  us  look  at  some   drops  from  the   holy  ocean  of  speeches   along  with  the  ‘Greatness  of  MahaPeriava’.

“The  purpose  of  attaining  a  good  position  in  life  is  to  help  others.  God  will  not  be  happy  if  we  spend  all  the  wealth  we  earn  for  our own  welfare.  Just  like  we  are  His  children,  so  also  poor  patients  and  orphans  are   His  children.  Instead  of  enjoying  the  food  yourselves,  if  you  feed  a  poor  person,  you  will  derive  more  joy  and  happiness.  If  you  help  poor  people  like  this  and  make  them  happy  in  their  mind,  God  also  will  be  happy  with  you  and  bless  you  a  lot.” – Deivathin Kural
