விஷ்ணு ஸஹஸ்ர நாமத்தின் ‘பல ச்ருதி’யில் பகவானை நேச்சர் என்கிற ஜடப் பிரபஞ்ச தர்மம், மநுஷ்ய மனநெறியை உண்டாக்கும் மதாசார தர்மம் ஆகிய இரண்டுக்கும் மூலமாக ரொம்ப அழகாகச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறது. தரிப்பது (தாங்குவது) தர்மம் வெட்ட வெளியிலே விழாமல் தொங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிற நக்ஷத்ரங்களையும், திக்குகளையும், பூமியையும், உருண்டையான பூமியிலிருந்து வழியாமல் கொட்டாமல் ஸமுத்ரத்தையும் ஸுக்ஷ்மமாக தரிக்கும் தர்ம ஸ்வரூபம் பகவானே என்று அதில் ஒரு ஸ்லோகத்தில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறது.

த்யௌ ஸ சந்த்ரார்க-நக்ஷ்த்ரா கம் திசோ பூர்-மஹோததி: |
வாஸுதேவஸ்ய வீர்யேண வித்ருதாநி மஹாத்மந: ||

வாஸுதேவனுடைய வீர்யம்தான் அண்ட கோளத்தையும், பூகோளத்து ஸமுத்ரத்தையும் தாங்கித் தரிக்கிறது என்று இங்கே சொல்லிவிட்டு, அப்புறம் மநுஷ்யன் என்ற சைதன்யப் பிரபஞ்சத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இந்த்ரியம், மனஸ் புத்தி, பிரத்யேக குணம், தேஜஸ், பலம், தைர்யம், க்ஷேத்ரம் என்ற சரீரம் அதில் அறிவாயிருக்கிற க்ஷேத்ரஜ்ஞன் என்ற ஆத்மா எல்லாமே வாஸுதேவ மயமானது என்று வர்ணிக்கப்படுகிறது.

இந்த்ரியாணி மநோ புத்தி: ஸத்-த்வம் தேஜோ பலம் த்ருதி: |
வஸுதேவாத்மகான்-யாஹு: க்ஷேத்ரம்க்ஷேத்ரஜ்ஞ ஏவ ச |

The ‘Phala Shruti’ (the portion which delineates the fruits of reciting Vishnu Sahasranaama Holy Verse) of Vishnu Sahasranamam gives a beautiful description of Almighty as the source of both an Universal Code of conduct and a Religious Code of conduct which infuses a certain sense of virtue in the human mind. A verse states that it is Almighty who is bearing in a subtle manner the Stars, Directions, Earth and thus preventing them for falling down from the Space they are in and also holding the oceans from spilling out of the elliptical earth. After thus describing the power of Vasudeva who holds aloft the Universe, the Earth and the Oceans, it also emphasizes the all pervading nature of Vasudeva who is omnipresent in the Divine Manifestation called the human being, in his mind, intellect, unique quality, strength, glow, and boldness.
