“பூத்திட்ட அருள் புஷ்பம்“

சாட்சாத் சர்வேஸ்வரரே தவயோகி கோலம் கொண்டு இப்புவியில் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் திரு அவதாரத்தில் அருள் செய்யும்போது அந்த மகாயோகியின் மேன்மை சுகபிரம்ம ரிஷியின் உயர்வுக்கு ஒப்பானது என கூறுதல் வேண்டுமோ?

அந்த ஈஸ்வர அவதார மேன்மையை பூர்ணமாக அனுபவித்த பக்தர்களுக்குள் ஸ்ரீமதி ஜயலட்சுமி ஜெயராமன் அவர்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா ஒரு ரோஜா செடியில் தன் அதிசயத்தை புஷ்பங்களாய் பூத்திட செய்வித்த அனுபவத்தை அருளியுள்ளார்.

ஸ்ரீமதி ஜயலட்சுமி அவர்களின் கணவர் அப்போது பொள்ளாச்சியில் இந்தியன் வங்கியில் வேலை பார்த்து வந்தார். அவருக்கு மேட்டுப்பாளையத்திற்கு மாற்றல் உத்தரவு வந்திருந்தது.

ஸ்ரீமதி ஜயலட்சுமியின் மாமாவின் பெண் இவர் ஊருக்கு வந்திருந்தபோது ஒரு ரோஜா செடியின் பதியனைக் கொண்டுவந்து கொடுத்தாள். இதை தோட்டத்தில் வைத்து பயிராக்கி ரோஜா பூத்ததும் அதை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் படத்துக்கும், அம்பாளுக்கும் சாத்தும்படி மாமா பெண் கூறிவிட்டு சென்றிருந்தாள்.

செடியை சிரத்தையாக தோட்டத்தில் வைத்து நீர் ஊற்றி ஜயலட்சுமி வளர்த்தபோதும், ஒரு வாரத்திலேயே அச்செடியின் இலைகள் பெரும்பாலும் உதிர ஆரம்பித்தன. இரு இலைகள் மட்டும் மிச்சமிருக்க ஒரு தடிமனான குச்சியை நட்டதுபோல செடி நின்றது.

இந்த சமயத்தில்தான் கணவருக்கு உத்யோக மாற்றல் உத்தரவு வந்திருந்தது.

சாமான்களையெல்லாம் கட்டி வைத்தாயிற்று. வீட்டை காலி செய்தாக வேண்டும். பக்தையின் மனதில் ஒரு ஆதங்கம். செடியை கொடுத்துவிட்டுப்போன மாமாவின் பெண் அதில் பூக்கும் புஷ்பங்களை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு சூட்டவேண்டுமென தன் ஆவலை தெரிவித்துவிட்டு போனதால், அந்த செடி இப்படி இலைகள் உதிர்ந்து பயன்படாமல் போனதால் மனம் வருத்தப்படலாயிற்று.

அன்று இரவு ஸ்ரீ ஜயலட்சுமி தன் கணவரிடம் பெரும் குறையாக இதைச் சொன்னாள்.

“ரோஜாச்செடி பூத்து, ஒரு பூவைக்கூட ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு சூட்ட முடியாமல் இந்த ஊரைவிட்டு போகின்றோம். இந்த வீட்டிற்கு யார் வந்து புஷ்பங்களை அனுபவிக்கப் போகிறார்களோ” இப்படி வருத்தத்தோடு கூறினாள்.

இப்படி பேசுகையில் அது பக்கத்துவீட்டு பெண்மணியின் காதில் விழுந்ததோ என்னவோ? ஆனால் பெரும் தெய்வமாம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் திருச்செவியில் விழுந்தது போலும்.

அடுத்த நாள் காலை அந்த அதிசயம் நிகழ்ந்தது.

பக்கத்துவீட்டு பெண்மணி அந்த அதிசயத்தை முதலில் பார்த்தவளாக ஓடிவந்து சொன்னாள். “இதோ இலைகள் உதிர்ந்து போன செடியில் ஒரு அழகான ரோஜா பூத்திருக்கிறதே எப்படி?” என வியந்தவளாய் அவள் ஓடிவந்தாள்.

பக்கத்து வீட்டு பெண்மணி ஆவல் மிகுதியால் சப்தம் போட்டு இந்த அபூர்வத்தை சொன்னதில் அக்கம்பக்கத்தார்கள் வீட்டு தோட்டத்தில் வந்து கூடி அந்த அதிசயத்தை பார்த்தனர்.

முதல் நாள் மொட்டுகூட தென்படாத நிலையில் இலையே இல்லாத வெறும் செடியில் பூத்திருந்தது அந்த பட்டு ரோஜா. இது எப்படி சாத்யம் என்று எல்லோரும் மலைத்திருக்க, ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் அருள் எதையும் சாதிக்கவல்லதென ஜயலட்சுமி இதில் ஆச்சர்யப்படவில்லை.

இந்த அதிசய ரோஜாவின் கதை இத்துடன் முடியவில்லை.

அன்று அலுவலகம் சென்று பொறுப்புகளை ஒப்படைத்துவிட்டு ஊர் மாறி செல்ல ஏற்பாடுகளை கவனிக்க அவர் கணவர் புறப்பட்டார். அலுவலகம் சென்றதும் அங்கே அவருடைய மாற்றல் உத்தரவு ரத்தாகியிருந்தது. மறுபடியும் பொள்ளாச்சியிலேயே வேலை பார்க்கும்படி உத்தரவானது.

ஆக ஜயலட்சுமி இதே வீட்டில் அந்த ரோஜா செடியின் வளர்ச்சியை கவனிக்கும் வாய்ப்பு பெற்றார். சுமார் ஆறு மாதங்களில் ரோஜா பதியன் பெரியதாக வளர்ந்து, தினமும் பல பூக்கள் பூக்கலாயின.

ஆனால் ஊரிலோ தண்ணீர் பஞ்சம். செடிகளை வைத்து தண்ணீர் ஊற்றுவது சிரமமாக இருந்தது. கஷ்டப்பட்டு தண்ணீரை கொண்டு வந்து செடிகளுக்கு ஊற்ற வீட்டு வேலைக்காரி எரிச்சலுற்றாள். ஒருநாள் காலையில் இதை பகிரங்கமாகவே கூறி சப்தம் போட்டாள்.

அதே நாளில் ஜயலட்சுமியின் கணவர் தான் ஒரு மில்லுக்கு இன்ஸ்பெக்ஷன் போகப்போவதாகவும், அங்கிருந்து நல்ல பன்னீர் ரோஜா பதியன் கொண்டுவரப்போவதாகவும் அதற்காக தோட்டத்தில் குழிவெட்டி தயாராக வைக்கும்படியும் கூறினார்.

கணவரின் ஆசையெல்லாம், ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு பட்டு ரோஜாவை சாத்துவதைவிட பன்னீர் ரோஜாவை சாத்துவதே உத்தமமென்பதால் அப்படி ஒரு பன்னீர் ரோஜாவை கொண்டுவந்து நட வேண்டுமென்பதே!

ஆனால் இருக்கும் செடிகளை பராமரிப்பதே சிரமமாக இருந்ததால் அதை ஆட்சேபித்தாள்.

“எனக்கு பட்டு ரோஜா பிடிக்கவில்லை. பன்னீர் ரோஜாவைதான் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு போடணும்” என்று கணவர் அவர் மனதில் பட்டதை கூறினார்.

உடனே ஜயலட்சுமியின் வாயில் சடாலென்று வார்த்தைகள் வந்து விழலாயின. “உங்கள் ஆசை பூர்த்தியாகணும்னா, ஏன் இந்த பட்டு ரோஜா செடியிலேயே ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் கிருபையால் நல்ல பன்னீர் ரோஜாவாய் பூக்கட்டுமே” என்றாள்.

ஏதோ ஒரு வாய் வார்த்தையாகத்தான் பக்தை இதை கூறியிருக்க முடியும்.

இந்த சம்பாஷணையையும் அப்போது நடந்ததுபோல் பக்கத்துவீட்டு பெண்மணியோடு, பார்க்குமிடமெங்கும் நீக்கமற நிறைந்தருளும் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவாளும் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தார்.

மறுநாள் காலை அன்றைய தினம் போல் பக்கத்துவீட்டு பெண்மணி வாசல் தெளிக்க வந்தபோது பார்த்த அதிசயத்தால் குதூகலித்து ஓடி வந்தாள்.

“மாமி இங்கே பாருங்கோ ஆச்சர்யத்தை” என்று கூப்பிட்டு ரோஜா செடியை காண்பித்தாள்.

அங்கே ஜயலட்சுமி பார்த்தபோது சுமார் இருபது ரோஜாக்கள் அந்த ரோஜா செடியில் பூத்திருந்தன. இதில் அதிசயமென்னவென்றால் அவை அத்தனையும் பன்னீர் ரோஜாக்கள்! எப்பேற்பட்ட அபூர்வம்! பட்டு ரோஜா பூக்கும் செடியில் பன்னீர் திவளைகளோடு வேறு ரக ரோஜா புஷ்பங்கள்.

ஊர்கூடி இந்த வியக்கத்தக்கதை பார்த்து நிற்க, செய்வதறியாமல் ஜயலட்சுமி ஸ்தம்பித்து நின்றாள். சற்று நேரத்தில் குளித்து சுத்தம் செய்துகொண்டு பூக்களை பறித்து ஜயலட்சுமி அவைகளை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்க புறப்பட்டாள்.

அருகே காமாநாயக்கம்பாளையம் என்ற ஊரில் சாதுர்மாஸ்ய காலத்திற்காக அருளிக்கொண்டிருந்த ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு இந்த அபூர்வ புஷ்பங்களை அர்ப்பணித்து ஜயலட்சுமி ஆனந்தமடைந்தவளாய், ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளிடம் இந்த பேரானுக்ரஹத்தை விவரித்தபோது ஸ்ரீ மகானின் விதானத்தில் புன்னகை பூத்தது.

மகிமையெல்லாம் மறைத்துக் கொள்ளும் குணாநிதியான ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா “நிச்சயமில்லாமலிருக்கிறதே! திரும்பவும் போய் செடியைப் பார்” என்று கூறி அனுப்பினார்.

மறுநாள் அந்த செடியை பார்த்தபோது வழக்கமாக பூக்கும் பட்டு ரோஜாக்களையே காண முடிந்தது.

இப்படி மாறி மாறி வரும் அதிசயத்தை ஜீரணிக்க முடியாத பக்தை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் திருஉருவ படத்திற்கு முன்ன நின்று “எல்லாம் உங்கள் இஷ்டப்படியே இருக்கட்டும்” என்று மனம் உருக வேண்டி நின்றாள்.

கேட்டதை கேட்டபடி அருளும் தயாநிதியின் பேரருளால், சில தினங்களுக்கு பின் அச்செடி பன்னீர் ரோஜா செடியாகவே மாறி, தினமும் பன்னீர் ரோஜா புஷ்பங்களே பூக்கும் ஆனந்த செடியானது.

அவ்வூரில் இருந்தவரையில் அந்த செடியில் பன்னீர் ரோஜாக்களே பூக்க, அவைகளை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு, அம்பாளுக்கும் சூட்டும் பாக்யம் பக்தைக்கு கிட்டியது.

இன்னும் மகானின் அருள் முடிந்தாகவில்லை.

உத்யோக நிமித்தமாக இவர்கள் அதே ஊரில் வேறொரு வீட்டில் தற்காலிகமாக தங்க வேண்டியிருந்தது. அப்போது அந்த ரோஜா செடி இருந்த வீட்டில் இன்னொருவர் குடியிருந்தார்கள். தினமும் அந்த வீட்டிலிருந்து பூக்கும் ரோஜாக்களை வேலைக்காரி கொண்டுவந்து ஜயலட்சுமி அம்மாளிடம் கொடுக்க அவைகளை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு பக்தை சாத்தி மகிழ்வாள்.

ஒருநாள் அப்படி பறிக்கப்போன வேலைக்காரியிடம் அந்த வீட்டில் குடியிருந்தவர்கள் “வேண்டுமானால் அவர்களே வந்து பறித்துப்போகட்டும்…நீ பறிக்க விடமாட்டோம்” என்று கூறிவிட, இதை அறிந்த பக்தைக்கு மிகவும் வருத்தமானது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு நல்ல புஷ்பங்களை வைக்க முடியவில்லையே நாளைக்கு என்ன செய்வதென்று மனம் உருகி வேண்டிக்கொண்டு பக்தை உறங்கப்போனாள். மறுநாள் எழுந்து வீட்டு தோட்டத்தை பார்த்தபோது அதே அதிசயம் மறுபடியும் தோன்றலானது. அந்த வீட்டிலிருந்த பட்டு செடியிலும் பன்னீர் ரோஜாக்களாய் அன்று பூக்கத் தொடங்கின.

பூர்ணமான பக்திக்கு இசைந்து எப்பேற்பட்ட அனுக்ரஹத்தையும் செய்தருளும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் மேன்மையினை அனுபவித்த பக்தைக்கு ஆனந்த கண்ணீராய் பெருகியது!

இது ரோஜாப்பூ இல்லை

இதே ரோஜாப்பூ சம்பந்தமான இன்னொரு சம்பவத்தை புதுக்கோட்டை மாமி எனும் பக்தை கூறுகிறாள். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் காஞ்சிபுரம் குமரக்கோட்டத்தில் மாமி தரிசிக்கபோனபோது, ஒரு பூக்காரி நிறைய செக்கச் சிவந்த ரோஜாப்பூக்களை விற்றுக் கொண்டிருப்பதை மாமி பார்த்தாள்.

தட்டு நிறைய வாங்கி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு சமர்பிக்கலாமே என்று ஆசை உண்டாக, நல்ல அழகாக பெரிதாக இருந்த ரோஜாக்கள் அத்தனையும் வாங்கி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் சமர்ப்பித்துவிட்டு நின்றாள்.

தட்டில் பளபளத்த பூக்களை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பார்த்தார். ஆனால் தொடக்கூட இல்லை.

ஏன் இப்படி என்று பக்தையின் மனதில் ஏக்கம் தோன்றியது. இதை உணர்ந்ததுபோல் மகான் திருவாக்கு உதிர்ந்தது. புதுக்கோட்டை மாமி ரோஜாப்பூ வைச்சிருக்கா என்று ஒரு சிப்பந்தி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் கூறியபோது “இது ரோஜாப்பூ இல்லே….ரோஜாப்பூ மாதிரியான சிவப்பு கலர் புஷ்பம். ரோஸ் கலர்லே இருக்குமே அதுதான் நிஜமான ரோஜா….அதில்தான் நல்ல வாசனை இருக்கும்” என்றாராம்.

அதன்பிறகு ரெட்ரோஸ் எனும் ரோஜாக்களை பூஜைக்கோ, மகான்களுக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கவோ மாமி கொண்டு செல்வதில்லை. வாசனையுள்ள மலர்களே பூஜைக்கு உகந்தவை என்று மாமிக்கு மகான் உணர்த்தியருளிய சம்பவம் இது. இதை நாமும் அறிந்துக் கொள்வோமாக!

இப்படி நமக்கெல்லாம் நன்னெறி அறிவித்து நலம் பல வழங்க காத்து நிற்கும் நடமாடும் தெய்வமாம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் நாம் கொள்ளும் பூர்ண பக்தி நமக்கெல்லாம் சகல ஐஸ்வர்யங்களையும், சர்வ மங்களங்களையும் அருளி காக்கும் என்பது திண்ணமல்லவா!

“Flowering Grace”

Should we even have to say that the greatness of Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, an incarnation of Sakshat Parameshwara, who is blessing all of us is similar to the greatness of Sukha Brahmarishi?

Among many devotees who realized the divine greatness of Sri Maha Periyava, Smt. Jayalakshmi Jayaraman was a blessed one for whom Sri Periyava gave a rose plant and this experience is where Sri Periyava showered His blessings by making rose flowers bloom.

Smt. Jayalakshmi’s husband was working in Indian bank in Pollachi. He received a transfer order to move to Mettupalayam. Smt. Jayalakshmi’s cousin had given them a rose plant when she visited them. She also suggested them to have that plant in their garden and as soon as it flowers, requested them to place it for Sri Periyava and Ambal.

Even though Smt. Jayalakshmi took care of the plant by regularly watering it, within a week, all the leaves started falling down. It looked like a stick with two leaves were kept in a pot. At this point, her husband received a transfer order.

They packed everything as they had to vacate the place. She was worried that she was unable to place the flowers in front of Sri Periyava and Ambal from the plant that her cousin gave them. She lamented about this to her husband on that night.

“We are leaving this place without placing any flowers from that plant before Sri Periyava. I do not know who is going to come to this house and use those flowers.”

No one knows if those words were audible to their neighbors. But, Sri Periyava heard those words. Next day morning, that miracle happened.

Their neighbor saw that first and came running towards Smt. Jayalakshmi and asked surprisingly, “how came a rose flower blossomed in a plant where almost all the leaves were falling?” Since that lady shouted with excitement all the other neighbors also came to Jayalakshmi’s garden and were witnessing this miracle.

Even though everyone were surprised on how come a flower can blossom even without a bud visible the previous day, Smt. Jayalakshmi was not astonished as she understood that Sri Periyava’s blessings can do anything. This experience did not end here.

Her husband went to office to ensure that he submits everything and come prepared for moving to a new place based on his transfer order. But, when he reached the bank, he got the news that his transfer order was suspended. He was ordered to continue working in Pollachi itself.

So, Jayalakshmi got the opportunity to continuously take care of that plant. In the next six months, plant grew bigger and taller and also lot of flowers started coming in it. Because of water scarcity, she started facing difficulties in watering the plant. Also, her maid was frustrated to bring water from a distant place to water this plant. She even said this openly to Jayalakshmi one morning. On that day, Jayalakshmi’s husband was supposed to go to a mill for an inspection and told that he will bring paneer rose plant from there and asked her to get the garden prepared for it.

His intention was to offer paneer rose instead of the normal one, for Sri Periyava. But, Jayalakshmi opposed it as maintaining the existing plant itself was tough.

“I do not like the normal rose; I want to offer only paneer rose for Sri Periyava” told her husband firmly. Immediately, Jayalakshmi started saying, “if your wish has to be fulfilled, why can’t a paneer rose blossom in this plant itself?”  She told this very casually. But, Sri Periyava, who is omnipresent must have listened to her words.

Next day morning, their neighbor was super excited to see another miracle when she came out of her house.

“Mami! Come and see this miracle” she shouted and showed the rose plant. When Jayalakshmi saw the plant, there were around 20 roses and all of them were paneer roses! What a miracle! Paneer roses blossoming in a normal rose plant! She stood there stunned when all her neighbors were looking the plant astonishingly. Immediately, she took all those flowers and went to have Sri Periyava’s darshan and to offer Him those flowers.

Sri Periyava was camping in Kamanayakampalayam for chaturmasya vratham. She offered all those flowers to Sri Periyava and explained the miracle. Sri Periyava just smiled and told, “it does not look real! Go back and look again!”

Next day, she saw there were only normal roses in that plant. As this miracle was happening back and forth, she went and stood before Sri Periyava’s picture and prayed, “let everything happen as per your wish!”

After few days, that plant turned into a paneer rose plant and started yielding only paneer roses. She offered them happily to Sri Periyava and Ambal. But, Sri Periyava’s grace did not stop there.

Due to her husband’s official work, they had to reside in a different house for some time. During that time, someone else was staying in their house (where she had that rose plant). Her maid used to bring flowers from that plant and she continued offering them to Sri Periyava and Ambal. One day when the maid went to get the flowers, people who were residing there told, “if needed, let them come and get the flowers…. we will not allow you to take it”. When Jayalakshmi heard this, she was worried that she would not be able to offer rose flowers to Sri Periyava.

Next day morning, when she went to her garden in their new house, she saw a similar miracle in which the normal rose plant had paneer roses in it. And it continued here too.

Smt. Jayalakshmi’s joy knew no bounds when she experienced this kind of grace from Sri Maha Periyava!!

It is not rose!

Another devotee, Pudukottai Mami shared a similar incident related to roses. When Mami went to have Sri Periyava’s darshan in Kanchipuram Kumarakottam, she saw a vendor selling lots of red roses.

She immediately wanted to buy all of them and offer to Sri Periyava. So, she bought all of them from the vendor, placed it before Sri Periyava and stood there.

Sri Periyava saw those flowers but did not even touch them. She did not understand the reason for this and started worrying. As if Sri Periyava realized her thoughts, started talking. “This is not rose… just a flower that looks like rose and red in color. Flowers that are rose in color are the real ones. Those are the ones which will have very good smell.”

After this incident, Mami never offered red colored roses for poojai or to any other mahans. Through this incident, Sri Periyava explained the importance of offering the right flowers for poojai. Let us also understand the same!

It is evident that our bhakthi and complete surrender to Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava would grant us all prosperity and happiness!
