Nobody objects to genuine assistance being rendered to the poor. But the practice of corrupting the poor who are fundamentally simple and cultured and inducing them to adopt a showy life of luxuries and motivating them to indulge in fraudulent practices and instilling in them an attitude that even if they do not ethically settle their debts, the Government will support them, actually causes them harm.
