ஈச்வர ஸ்ருஷ்டியில் உள்ள எல்லாவிதமான உயிர்களுக்கும் பிரீதியை உண்டு பண்ணி, அவற்றில் ஸௌம்யமானவை மேலும் ஸௌம்யம் ஆகி லோகத்துக்கு நன்மை செய்யுமாறும், உக்ரமானவை சாந்தமாகி ஆவி சேஷ்டை, அம்மை நோய் முதலிய க்ஷாமங்களை உண்டாக்கமலிருக்குமாறும் செய்வது உத்தமமான காரியந்தான். விஷயம் தெரியாதவர்கள் ‘க்ரிடிஸைஸ்’ செய்வதால் இதெல்லாம் ரொம்பத் தாழ்ந்த ஸ்திதிக்கு மதத்தை இறக்கி விடுகிறது என்று தப்பாக நினைத்து, விட்டு விடக்கூடாது. க்ரிடிஸிஸம் என்று நினைத்து அவர்கள் சொல்வதே பாராட்டி ஸர்ட்டிஃபிகேட் கொடுப்பதாகத் தான் எனக்கு தோன்றுகிறது. அத்வைதத்தைச் சொல்கிற மதமே அநேக தேவ-பித்ரு கர்மாக்களைச் சொல்வதுதான் நம் மதத்தின் பெருமை. இதனால்தான் அது ஸகல விதமான லெவல்களிலிருப்பவர்களையும் ஒரே அமைப்பில் அரவணைத்துக் கொண்டு போகிறது என்பது ஒரு பெருமை. இதனால்தான் பரோபகாரம் என்பதை மநுஷ்ய லோகத்தோடு நிறுத்திக் கொள்ளாமல், மற்ற லோகத்து ஜீவர்களுக்குப் போஷணை தருவதகாவும் விஸ்தரித்து, அவர்களைக் கொண்டு நம் லோகத்துக்கும் நல்லதைப் பெற்றுத்தர முடிகிறது என்பது இன்னொரு பெருமை. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

Appeasing the different kinds of beings in the creation of Bhagawan, making the gentler among them happier so that the world is benefited and placating the virulent ones so that that evil forces and diseases are kept at bay are all noble actions. We should not assume that these actions degrade the religion only because some people criticize them out of ignorance. I feel that their criticism is only eulogy. The greatness of our religion lies in the fact that the very same religion which declares the non dual nature (Adwaitha) of the Supreme Power also delineates the the duties one owes towards Devathas and the Pithrus. It is because of this that the religion is able to embrace people at different levels at the same time and in one structure. It is also because of this that the principle of philanthropy is not confined to the human world but also extends to the beings in other worlds too and thus ensuring that these other worldly beings confer benefits upon this world.
