லோகத்தில் எதுவும் நமக்கு வேண்டாம், ஏக பரமாத்மா ஒன்றைத்தான் தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பது மாத்திரமே நம் லக்ஷ்யமாக ஆகிறபோது அந்தப் பரமாத்மாவின் தேவதா ரூபங்களை விடத்தான் செய்வோம். அதேபோல லோகத்திலிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஸேவை பண்ண வேண்டும் என்கிற எண்ணமும் அப்போது விட்டுப் போய்விடும். இதனால் ஒருத்தன் பரோபகாரமில்லாமல் கல்லு மாதிரி ஆகிவிட்டானென்று அர்த்தமில்லை. பரமாத்ம ஞானத்தை இவன் அடைந்து விட்டானென்றால், பரமாத்மாவிடம் பக்தியினாலோ ஞானத்தினாலோ கலந்து வாழ்கிறானென்றால் அப்போது இவன் உத்தேசிக்காமல் தன்னாலேயே ஸகல ஜீவன்களுக்கும் சாந்தி தருவதான மஹா பெரிய உபகாரம் இவனால் நடந்து கொண்டேதானிருக்கும். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்
When our sole aim is to realize the Ultimate Supreme Divine (Paramathma), we will naturally give up worshipping the different Divine Manifestations (Devatha Roopams) of the same. Even the thought to serve the people of this world will disappear. This does not mean a person gets hardened and has given up his philanthropic nature. When he has mingled with the Paramathma through Supreme knowledge or devotion and has attained that enlightenment, he unconsciously becomes the vehicle of peace to the different beings of the universe and this supreme service continues unbroken. – Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal
