Fulfillment of domestic responsibilities will also reduce the intensity of our karma and cleanse our minds. Those who have not been entrusted with such domestic responsibilities by the Grace of Bhagawan should elevate their souls by philanthropic acts. This becomes their duty. However much be our domestic responsibilities, we should spare time for social service after fulfilling the former. Unless somebody has an extraordinary burden of family duties, there will always be time for social service. However a person should not seek to perform social service after neglecting his domestic duties and entrusting them to somebody else. If it so happens, he will only invite the ire of people who will accuse him of being irritated at the very mention of family.
