ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் மகிமை  (27-03-2008)

ஒப்புயர்வில்லாத மேன்மையினால் பிரம்மஞானி சுகமுனிவரின் உயர்வோடு நம்மிடையே எளிமையாக காட்சியருளும் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா சாட்சாத் சர்வேஸ்வரரே என்பது பாக்யசாலிகளான சில பக்தர்களுக்கே புரிந்துள்ள ரகசியமாக உள்ளது.

சென்னை பக்தர் வி. வேங்கடரமணி அவர்கள் கூறும் சம்பவம் இது. அவர்கள் குடும்பத்தில் மூன்று தலைமுறையாக காஞ்சி மடத்துடன் தொடர்பு இருந்து வந்தது. இவருடைய தகப்பனார் காமாட்சிபுரம் வைத்யநாதய்யருக்கு ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளிடம் விஸ்வாசமான பக்தியுண்டு.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இட்ட பணிகளை வைத்தியநாதய்யர் சிரத்தையாக செய்துள்ளார். ஸ்ரீ மகானுக்கும் இவரிடத்தில் கருணையுண்டு. இவர் தனக்காக பிரத்யேகமாக ஒன்றும் கொண்டாடிக் கொள்ள விரும்பியதில்லை. சஷ்டி அப்த பூர்த்தி, பீமரத சாந்தி என்று அறுபது, எழுபது வயதுகளில் எல்லோரும் செய்துக்க கொள்ளும் சாந்திகளை இவர் மனம் விரும்பவில்லை. எல்லாம் ஈஸ்வரரின் அர்பணமாகவே பாவித்து செய்து வந்தார். ரமணியின் தாயாரும் இதற்கெல்லாம் ஆசைப்பட்டதில்லை.

இருந்தாலும் வைத்தியநாதய்யர் தன் 84-ம் வயதில் சதாபிஷேகம் செய்து கொள்ளலாமென்று ஆசைப்பட்டார். பிள்ளைகளும் தகப்பனாரிடம் இதை வற்புறுத்தவே அவரும் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளிடம் இதைப் பற்றி சொல்லி ஸ்ரீ மாமுனிவரின் ஆசீர்வாதமும் அனுக்கிரஹமும் கிடைப்பதாயிருந்தால் சதாபிஷேகம் செய்துக் கொள்ள சம்மதிப்பதாக கூறிவிட்டார்.

உடனே வேங்கடரமணி தன் தாயார் மற்றும் சகோதரியோடு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை தரிசித்து கேட்க காஞ்சிபுரம் அருகிலிருந்த கிராமத்திற்கு விரைந்தனர்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் வாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த வீட்டின் முன் பகுதியில் போட்டிருந்த பந்தலில் தரிசனம் கிடைத்தது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ஒரு பூதக் கண்ணாடியைப் பிடித்து புத்தகம் ஒன்றை படித்தபடி அமர்ந்திருந்தார். இவர்கள் தேங்காய், பழம், வெற்றிலை பாக்கோடு தட்டை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் முன்னாள் வைத்துவிட்டு இந்த விஷயத்தை தெரியப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

“பெரியவருக்கா சதாபிஷேகம்?” என்று பெரியவா கேட்டாரேயின்றி இது போன்ற கோரிக்கைகளுக்கு உடனே செய்வது போல பிரசாதம் எதுவுமே கொடுக்கவில்லை. மறுபடியும் புத்தகத்தைப் படிக்கத் தொடங்கி விட்டார்.

இவர்கள் அங்கேயே காத்திருக்க, சில நிமிடங்களில் ஒரு தம்பதியினர் வந்து தங்கள் பெண்ணுக்கு விவாகம் என்றும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ஆசீர்வாதம் வேண்டுமென்றும் பிரார்த்தித்தனர். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா உடனே அவர்கள் கொண்டு கல்யாண பத்திரிக்கை பழதட்டை தன் திருகரங்களால் நகர்த்தி பாவனையாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ள சொன்னார். அவர்களும் பூர்ண ஆசி கிடைத்த சந்தோஷத்தோடு சென்றனர்.

இதை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்த வேங்கடரமணி மற்றும் அவர் தாயார், சகோதரிக்கு பெரும் ஏக்கமாகிவிட்டது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தங்களுக்கு மட்டும் பாராமுகமாக இருப்பதில் மிக வருத்தமுற்றனர்.

பிறகு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளே அங்கிருந்த இவர்கள் உட்பட எல்லோரையும் புது பெரியவாளிடம் போய் தரிசனம் செய்து பிரசாதம் வாங்கிப் போகலாமென்று சொல்லிவிட்டு அவர் வாசம் செய்து வந்த வீட்டின் மூன்றாவது தாழ்வாரத்துக்கு சென்று ஓய்வெடுக்க போய் விட்டார்.

எப்பவும் பிரசாதம் தந்து அனுக்ரஹம் செய்யும் மகான் ஏன் இன்றைக்கு அப்படி செய்யவில்லை என்று வேங்கடரமணியின் தாயாருக்கு வேதனையாகிவிட்டது. புது பெரியவாளிடம் பிரசாதம் பெற்று கொண்டாலும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடமிருந்து அனுக்ரஹம் பெற்றுதான் செல்ல வேண்டுமென்று தீர்மானமாக இருந்தார் அந்த அம்மையார்.

அப்படி அங்கேயே காத்து நின்றதால், ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அவர்களை பார்த்து “அப்பாவிற்கு சதாபிஷேகத்தை சீக்கிரமாகவே நடத்து” என்று சொன்னாரே தவிர அப்போதும் பிரசாதம் தரவில்லை. மன சமாதானமின்றி சென்னை திரும்பினார்கள்.

மறுநாள் காலை காஞ்சிபுரத்திலேயே வசிக்கும் இவருடைய தங்கை பிள்ளை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை தரிசிக்க சென்றபோது அவனிடம் அந்த நடமாடும் தெய்வம் “தாத்தாவிற்கு சீக்கிரம் சதாபிஷேகம் செய்து வைக்கச் சொல்லு” என்றிருக்கிறார். கூடவே பிரசாதமாக கல்யாண சம்மந்தப்பட்டதை தந்திருக்கிறார்.

வீட்டிற்கு வந்த பையன் இதை வீட்டின் பெரியவர்களிடம் சொல்ல அவர்கள் உடனே என்ன செய்வதென்று புரியாமல் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடமிருந்து கல்யாண சம்மந்தப்பட்ட பிரசாதமாக வந்திருப்பதால் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை அவர்களும் அப்போதே தரிசனம் செய்து விஷயத்தை தெரிந்து கொண்டு அந்த பையனையே சென்னைக்கு உடனே அனுப்பியுள்ளனர்.

பையன் கொண்டுவந்த பிரசாதங்களை பார்த்த வைத்தியநாதய்யர் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு பெருமகிழ்ச்சிதான் கூடவே ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சீக்கிரமாக சதாபிஷேகத்தை நடத்தவும் என்று உத்தரவிட்டதால் தாமதிக்காமல் வெகு விமர்சையாக அதை அடுத்த நாளே ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் அருளால் கொண்டாடி முடித்தனர்.

சதாபிஷேகம் முடிந்த மறுநாள் காலை வைத்தியநாதய்யர் எல்லோரிடமும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக பேசி கொண்டிருந்தபடியே அனாயாசமாக இறைவனடி சேர்ந்தார்.

இப்போது ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் மென்மையான கருணை அனைவருக்கும் தெரியலாயிற்று.

அப்பாவிற்கு சதாபிஷேகத்தை சீக்கிரம் நடத்து என்ற ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளின் உத்தரவின் சூட்சமம் இப்போது புரியலாயிற்று. இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு முன்னாலேயே வைத்தியநாதய்யரின் முடிவை அறிந்திருந்ததாலேயே ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா பிரசாதத்தை உடனே தராமல் இந்நிலையில் சதாபிஷேகத்தை துரிதப்படுத்தி அடுத்த நாளே நடத்திட வேண்டுமென்ற காரணத்தினால் இப்படி ஒரு அனுக்ரஹம் செய்து அது நடைபெற்று முடியும் வரை வைத்தியநாதய்யருக்கு ஆயுளில் இரண்டு நாட்கள் உயிர்பிச்சை அளித்து காத்தது போல அவர்கள் உணர்ந்தார்கள்.

திரிகால ஞானியாய் பக்தரின் முடிவை அறிந்துவிட்டிருந்தாலும், ஒருபுறம் அந்த தெய்வ ரகசியத்தையும் அப்படியே வெளிப்படுத்த முடியாத தர்மசங்கடத்தோடும், மறுபுறம் தன்னிடம் பக்தர் வைத்த கோரிக்கை நடந்தேற வேண்டுமென்ற தர்ம சிந்தனையோடும், ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவளெனும் கருணை தெய்வம் அனுக்ரஹித்த விதத்தை வேங்கடரமணி அனுபவித்து ஆனந்திக்கிறார்.

மழை போருமா?

ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாள் திருப்பதியில் அனுக்கிரஹ வாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த சமயம், அவரை சித்தூரில் கலெக்டராக இருந்த சீதாராமதாஸ் தரிசிக்க வந்திருந்தார்.

மாவட்ட கலெக்டரானபடியால் ஒரு பொதுவான பிரச்சனையை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா முன் வைத்தார். அரசாங்கங்கள் என்ன முயன்றாலும் தீர்க்க முடியாத இயற்கை பொய்திட்ட விஷயம் இது. சித்தூர் மாவட்டமெங்கிலும் மழை இல்லாததால் பெரும் வறட்சி. பயிர்கள் தழைக்காமல் மக்கள் அன்றாட தண்ணீருக்கே அல்லல்படும் அவலத்தினால் மாடு, ஆடு போன்ற ஜீவன்களும் உயிர்விடும் நிலைமை!

மூவுலகையும் தன் கருணையால் காத்து ரட்சிக்கும் பரமேஸ்வரராய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அருள, திரு சீதாராமதாஸ் அவர்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் அருள் ஒன்றினால் மட்டும்தான் இயற்கையை இயக்க முடியும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை இருந்திருக்கக்கூடும்.

கலெக்டர் சொன்னதை கருணாமூர்த்தி கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். பிரசாதங்கள் பெற்றுக் கொண்டு கிளம்பிவிட்டார். தன் கோரிக்கையினை தெய்வத்தின் திருச்செவியில் போட்டுவிட்ட திருப்தியோடு கலெக்டர் சித்தூர் நோக்கி காரில் விரைந்தார். அதற்குமுன் இயற்கையே ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கட்டளைக்கு உடனே இசைவது போல விரைந்து செயல்படலாயிற்று.

கார் சற்று தூரம் சென்ற போது மேகம் இருண்டது. இன்னும் சிறிது தூரம் சென்றபோது கருமேகங்கள் சூழ்ந்து லேசான தூரல்களாக விழ ஆரம்பித்தது. சித்தூரை நெருங்கும் போது இடியும் மின்னலுமாக மழை வலுத்தது. மழை வெலுத்து வாங்கியதில் வெள்ளைப் பெருக்கில் கார் நகர முடியாத அளவிற்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் அருள் பெருக்கு வகை செய்து விட்டது.

மழை வேண்டி மகாதேவனிடம் முறையிட்டு திரும்பிய போதே கலெக்டரின் கோரிக்கை நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. தண்ணீர் பஞ்சத்தினால் மாவட்டம் பட்ட கஷ்டங்களிலிருந்து தீர்வு கண்டதில் கலெக்டருக்கு மெத்த மகிழ்ச்சி.

ஆனாலும் கலெக்டரின் மனதில் இந்த அதிசயம் ஏதோ யதேச்சையாகத்தான் நடந்ததாக பட்டது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் தான் முறையிட்டதன் பயனாக பொழிந்திருக்கும் அருளாக இதை நினைக்கத் தோன்றாமல் போனது.

மேலும் நான்கு மாதங்கள் ஒடின. இப்போது ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ நடமாடும் தெய்வம் குல்பர்கா எனும் ஊரில் திருவாசம் புரிந்து வந்தார். சித்தூர் கலெக்டருக்கு திரும்பவும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை தரிசிக்க தோன்றியது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை தரிசித்து வெவ்வேறு விஷயங்களை கலெக்டர் பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்க, ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளோ “மழை போருமா?” என்று கேட்டு கலெக்டரை வியக்க வைத்தார்.

அந்த நொடி பொழுதிலேயே கலெக்டரின் மனதில் நான்கு மாதங்களுக்கு முன் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவளிடமிருந்து விடைபெற்று திரும்பியபோது பெய்ந்த மழை நினைவிற்கு வந்தது. தான் அதை சாதாரணமாக ஏதோ இயற்கையாக மழை பெய்கிறதென்று எடுத்துக் கொண்டது எத்தனை அறியாமை என உணரலானார். ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளின் பூர்ண அருளால்தான் என்பது இப்போது புரியலாயிற்று.

“மழை போதுமா” என்று கேட்டு இதை உணர்த்திய தெய்வத்தை மனபூர்வமாக சீதாராமதாஸ் வணங்கி உத்தரவு பெற்று திரும்பினார்.

இப்படி இயற்கையும் கட்டுப்படும் கருணாமூர்த்தியான ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் மாபெரும் தெய்வம் நாம் கேட்கும் நலன்களையெல்லாம் ஈந்து சர்வ மங்களங்களுடன் நம்மை வாழ வைத்து அருளும் என்பது உண்மையன்றோ!

Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava Mahimai! (27-03-2008)

Only very few lucky devotees have realized the divine secret that Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, who has all the greatness as Sri Sukha Brahmarishi, is an incarnation of Sakshat Sarveshwara.

This incident was narrated by a Chennai devotee, Sri, Venkataramani. His family were associated with Sri Kanchi Matam for three generations. His father Kamakshipuram Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer was an ardent of Sri Maha Periyava.

Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer used to do with utmost sincerity all the activities that Sri Periyava instructs. Sri Periyava also was compassionate towards him. He never celebrated anything for himself. He did not even want to celebrate Sashtiabdapoorthi or Bheemaratha Shanti that everyone does in their 60 and 70 years. He did everything as an offering to Eswara. Sri Ramani’s mother also did not like for all these things.

But, Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer, when he was 84 years of age, desired to have Shathabhishekam function. When all his kids urged him towards this, he instructed them to seek Sri Sri Sri Periyava’s blessings and if Sri Periyava blesses, he would accede to their request.

Immediately, Sri Venkataramani, along with his mother and sister started for Sri Periyava’s darshan when Sri Periyava was camping in a village near Kanchipuram. They had darshan of Sri Periyava in front of the house where Sri Periyava was staying. Sri Periyava was reading a book with a magnifying lens. They kept a plate in front of Sri Periyava with coconut, fruits, betel leaves and nuts in it and also informed Sri Periyava about their request.

Even though Sri Periyava asked, “Is Shathabhishekam for the elder one?” Sri Periyava did not give any prasadam to them as He usually does. Again, Sri Periyava continued reading the book.

Within few minutes, a couple came for Sri Periyava’s darshan and requested for His blessings for their daughter’s wedding. Sri Periyava immediately accepted the plate that they kept with the wedding invitation. They too left the place with full happiness.

When Sri Venkataramani saw this incident, he along with his mother and sister felt bad. They were worried that Sri Periyava did not bless them alone. Sri Periyava ordered everyone including them to go to Sri Pudhu Periyava and get prasadam. Saying so, Sri Periyava went inside the room for taking rest.

Sri Venkataramani’s mother was extremely worried why Sri Periyava did not bless them and give prasadam, as He usually does. Even though they got prasadam from Sri Pudhu Periyava, they decided not to leave without getting prasadam from Sri Maha Periyava.

As they kept standing there, Sri Periyava told, “Do Shathabhishekam for your father immediately”. But, even now, Sri Periyava did not give prasadam. They returned to Chennai without full satisfaction.

Next day, when their relative residing in Kanchipuram went for Sri Periyava’s darshan, Sri Periyava told, “Go tell them to do Shathabhishekam for your grandfather immediately.” Also, Sri Periyava gave prasadam to him.

When he came home, they did not know what to do. So, they asked him to go to Chennai with prasadam from Sri Periyava. Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer’s family was extremely happy when they received prasadams from Sri Periyava and as Sri Periyava instructed to do the function immediately, they celebrated the next day itself.

Next day after Shathabhishekam function, Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer passed away peacefully while talking happily with everyone.

Everyone now realized Sri Periyava’s karunyam and the reason behind Sri Periyava instructing them to do the function immediately. As Sri Periyava knew about Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer’s end even before two days, they all realized that Sri Periyava blessed Sri Vaidyanatha Iyer by granting him two more days of life as they wanted to do Shathabhishekam.

Sri Periyava, even though He knew present, past and future, and also as He cannot reveal the divine secret, and on other hand as He wanted His devotee’s wish to happen, Sri Venkataramani explained the way Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava blessed their family.

Was the rain enough?

Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava was camping in Tirupati and giving darshan to all devotees. During that time, Sri Seetharamadas, Chittoor collector came for Sri Periyava’s darshan.

As he was district collector, he placed a request to Sri Periyava on behalf of the people from that district. It was a nature problem that the government was unable to address. As there was no rain in Chittoor, they were experiencing famine. Everyone were having trouble to even get water for daily use and other living beings like cows and goats were also about to die! Sri Seetharamadas would have definitely felt that only Sri Periyava could solve their problem.

Sri Periyava listened to Seetharamadas’ request. Seetharamadas left after getting prasadams. He returned to Chittoor with the happiness that he mentioned the problems to Sri Periyava. Even before he reached Chittoor, as if nature is under Sri Periyava’s control, it started working. Sky darkened with lot of clouds. When his car moved some more distance, slowly it started drizzling. By the time he reached Chittoor, it started raining heavily with thunder and lightning. His car was unable to move with so much rain.

His request to Sri Periyava was addressed immediately while he was coming back to Chittoor. Collector became very happy that the district’s water problem has been solved.

But, the collector’s mind that this happened naturally and not because of the fact that he told this problem to Sri Periyava. Four months passed away. Now, Sri Sri Sri Periyava was camping in Gulbarga. Chittoor’s collector thought of going for Sri Periyava’s darshan.

While collector started discussing other matters with Sri Periyava after having darshan, Sri Periyava asked “was the rain enough?” and made collector dumbfounded.

Immediately, collector recollected the incident in which he placed his request to Sri Periyava about the famine and the rain while he returned to Chittoor. He realized how ignorant he was to think that the rain poured naturally. Also, he grasped that it rained on that day only because of Sri Periyava’s grace.

Seetharamadas prostrated before Sri Periyava and returned to Chittoor.

Isn’t it true that Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava who can control even nature, grant us all prosperity, wealth and good life!!
