பகவானும் (ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணரும்) ஜீவன் முக்தர்களான ஜனகாதியர்கூட ‘லோக ஸங்க்ரஹ’த்துக்காக கார்யம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டு தானிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று (கீதையில்) சொல்கிறார். ‘ஸங்க்ரஹம்’ என்றால் அன்போடு வழிகாட்டி உசத்துவது. தன்னில்தானே ஸகல ஸாதனைகளுக்கும் லஷ்ய ஸ்தானமாயிருந்தபோதிலும், தான் பண்ண வேண்டிய ஸாதனையோ, அடைய வேண்டிய லக்ஷ்யமோ எதுவும் இல்லாதபோதிலும், பகவானான தாமும் லோகத்தார் எப்படி வாழ வேண்டும் என்ற ‘ஐடிய’லை அவர்களுக்குக் காட்டிக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவே ஓயாமல் ஒழியாமல் கார்யங்கள் பண்ணிக் கொண்டிருப்பதாகச் சொல்கிறார். எதுவும் ஸாதிக்க வேண்டாத பகவானும் பரோபகாரத்தை ஸாதிக்கிறார்! இதையேதான் “ப்ரச்னோத்தர ரத்நமாலிகா”விலும் (ஆசார்யாள்), “கிம் ஸாத்யம்?”— “ஸாதிக்கத் தக்கது என்ன?” என்று கேட்டு, “பூத ஹிதம்” — “உயிர்க்குலத்துக்கு நன்மை செய்வது” என்று பதிலாகக் கொடுக்கிறார். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

Lord Krishna Himself states in Srimad Bhagawad Gita that enlightened souls continue to live in this world for the purpose of Loka Sankraha – that is to uplift the people by lovingly showing them the right path. Though He Himself is the Ultimate Spiritual power and the Holy Temple of all spiritual ideals, He continues to ‘act’ only to teach the ideal way of life to the people.
