My experience with Sri Sivan Sar – Sri Ganapathy Subramanian

sar1sivan-sar-stuhi

Thanks to Sri Ganapathy for the article. He is always kind enough to share great gems of experiences/articles with me to share with all of you.

God has given blessed only certain individuals with Saraswathi kadaksham in their speeches and writings. Ganapathy is one such person, who has the great skill of mesmerizing the audience (at least me!) with his simple (uncomplicated) conversational writing. He has been blessed with being associated with three mahans at the same time period – Sri Mahaperiyava, Sri Triplicane Periyava and Sri Sivan Sar. With the last two, he had wonderful opportunity to do kainkaryam in a very close manner. At a very young age of 20 itself, he got into mahans’ satsangam – how fortunate he is! I talk to him once in a while to discuss few things.

Here is his recent article on his experience with Sri Sivan Sar. Don’t miss.

  1. Respected Sir,
Thank you so much for the response. You have seeded good punniyam in previous birth(s) and reaping the benefits of Guru(s) Kadaksham in this birth. If possible, please verbally share Mahaperiyavaa/Sivan Sir experiences in YouTube. This will largely benefit senior citizens (including my mom) who are better off @ listening than reading.

  2. have added a few more experiences with Shivan Sar that I recollected to the doc. You can find the link to the pdf file after Sri Shivan Sar photo in the bottom of this page http://valmikiramayanam.in/?page_id=2

    • Respected Sir,
Are you the same person who narrated the incident “1387” – A Miraculous Incident? You are such a blessed person to live with Sivan Sir. Do you by any chance hail from Nemmeli Venkatraman Iyer’s family?

      • No madam. He is a different Ganapathy Subramanian. His family has served Kanchi matam for generations. He has served Shivan Sar for many years. He is sharing his experiences with Sri Shivan Sar and Mahaperiyava here http://sivabgs.blogspot.in/

  3. Great Blessings accrue to the reader from Maha Periyava, Sivan Sar and Sri Govinda Damodara SwamigaL. All come alive through Sri Ganapathy’s account. Shri Gurubhyo Namaha! Rama Rama Rama Rama Rama Rama! Hara Hara Shankara, Jaya Jaya Shankara!

  4. This is one of the most important items to appear in this blog. First, the language is so natural and unaffected by modernisms. Second, it reveals some great truths and secrets, some of which are:
    – each one has to seek personal advice for spiritual advancement, There is no ‘one cap fits all’ solution.
    – mantra is neither suitable nor efficacious for this age. it cannot be picked up casually, as from books.
    – any advice given, such as Nama kirtan or parayana of a scripture , should be practiced with sincerity and humility and should reform us. It cannot be taken as a licence to live as we like.
    – real Masters are in touch with each other and do not contradict each other.
    – Blessings really mean ” health and happiness” .
    – Modern ‘gurus’ ( Anandas ) and their interpretation of our scriptures are not authentic. There is abuse of the Sanyasi ideal. [ This means a real sadhaka has to be careful in approaching a sanyasi.]
-Nama Sankirtan is the ideal general prescription for the age.

Those who came into personal contact with such Masters are really blessed!

The item requires several readings and deep study and reflection. Each one is sure to derive the light required. Luckily , it is in pdf format. Very grateful for this upload.

    • You got the essence of it very clearly Sir. Even though it was told to me in many words, I still remember them because of the incidents associated with them. I am glad that the message reached a sincere seeker. Even for me it is going to need repeated study and reflection to become a true adiyarkadiyan
