நமக்கு வேண்டிய பெரிய ப்ரைஸ் ஸாக்ஷாத் அம்பாளின் அநுக்ரஹம்தான். அஸ்வமேத புண்யபலனாக தேவலோகத்துக்கோ ப்ரம்மலோகத்துக்கோ போய் நமக்கு ஒன்றும் ஆகவேண்டாம். அங்கெல்லாம் போனாலும் புண்யம் தீர்ந்த பின் — ரூபாய் செலவழிகிற மாதிரி, செலவழித்த பின் — பூலோகத்துக்குத் திரும்பி வந்துதான் ஆக வேண்டும். ஆனால் அம்பாளின் சரணார விந்தங்களுக்குப் போனோமானால் திரும்பவே வேண்டாம். நித்யானந்தம் என்ற சாஸ்வத ஸெளக்யம் அதுதான். ஆனதால், அநாத ப்ரேத ஸம்ஸ்காரத்தில் நாம் அலக்ஷ்யமாக இருக்கிறோமென்றால் நாம் அசடு என்று அர்த்தம். பரமாத்மா ரொம்ப ஸுலபமாக ஒரு பரீக்ஷை வைத்து அஸ்வமேத பலனை, அம்பாளின் ப்ரீதியை நாம் அடைவோமா என்று பார்க்கிறபோது, நாம் இதைக் கோட்டை விட்டுவிட்டு நின்றால் அசடு என்றுதானே அர்த்தம்?ஆகையால் எந்த ஜாதியானாலும் அநாதை ப்ரேதங்களைப் பற்றி நமக்குத் தெரிய வந்தால், “இந்தக் கைங்கர்யம் நமக்குக் கிடைத்ததே!” என்று அதற்குரிய ஸம்ஸ்காரத்தைப் பண்ணுவித்து, ஒரு பெரிய அஸ்வமேத யாக பலனை அடையும் ஸந்தர்ப்பத்தைப் பிரயோஜனப்படுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்
The only thing we need is the blessing of the Mother Goddess, Ambal. We do not need even a place at (the abode of Brahma, the Creator) or Devaloka( the abode of Devas, the heavenly immortal beings) as a fruit of Ashwamedam. Even if one reaches these heavenly worlds, after our Punya (value of the good deeds in our life’s account) is over, we have to bounce back to the earth like a wrongly minted coin. But if we attain the lotus feet of Ambal, we are assured of a place there, a place of eternal bliss. So if we are careless in the matter of disposal of orphaned dead bodies, we are indeed foolhardy. Bhagawan has given us an opportunity to perform a deed equivalent to Ashwamedam and how can we be so careless about it and fritter away the opportunity?
