Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara – A rare 2 minute video where we get the Ago Bhagiyam to see a Mahalingam pradhista did by Maha Periyava in 1963. For Non Tamizh readers, below is the summary translation by the Archarkar Swamin explaining the devotees about this Sthala Puranam.

During Sri Adi Sankara Bhagawadpathal Digvijayam all the pundits accepted that ‘Adwaitham’ is the Parama Sathyam and is the conclusive endpoint of all the Upanishads. However, they ask Sri Bhagawadpadhal to have a divine witness that they all accepted Adwaitham as well as having a divine proof (Deiva Sakshi) for this if someone has any doubts in the future. Sri Bhagawathpadhar says, “Tell me, in which place should I come and get you the promise from Bhagawan that Adwaitham is Parama Sathyam?”. They all say Madhyarjuna Kshethram which is the Great Thiruvidaimaruthur. Sri Bhagawathpadhal comes to Thiruviddaimaruthur Kshethram and prays to Eswara who sticks his hand out of the Mahalingam and says “Sathyam Adwaitham, Sathyam Adwaitham, Sathyam Adwaitham” thrice. Sri Maha Periyava did Mahalingam pradhista here in 1963.

Happy Prodosham to all devotees. Anantha Siva Siva to Shri Raghavan Desikan who visited this place and shared the video clip. Ram Ram
