This is the Sivalinga Darisanam at Chandi Homam Poornahuthi done on the occasion of Sri Maha Periyava Jayanthi in Salem on June 18 2016 @ Salem Sri Ravi Mama’s place.
Couple of things.
This is NOT a photo-shopped image. This event was attended by my good friend Shri Subramaniam Ganesan who was sitting next to a Ganapadigal’s son (around 10 yrs old). The boy was taking pictures of the homam using his tablet at a pretty fast pace. No one saw this image live but this was captured in one of the numerous pictures the boy captured on his tablet and was seen later. Sri Salem Ravi Mama was also ecstatic and shared this picture with another good friend of mine. I’m not a person for miracles, believe more in following Periyava’s upadesams. In Deivathin Kural Periyava talks about how we should strive to indulge in Eswara Smaranam as much as we can while seeing various things in life. This certainly is Periyava’s divine leela which cannot be merely dismissed; at-least I cannot who is on the very lower strata of Bhakthi. If this Agni Siva lingam makes us indulge in Siva (Periyava) Smaranam at-least for a few seconds, the purpose of this post is achieved. Happy Pradosham! Siva Siva.

This is an obviously photoshopped image – just look at the person in the turban to the right of the agni. Putting this image up on this blog is sullying the image of Periyava.

Every deepam, Every Fire is actually a Shiva Lingam, as explained by Maha Periyava to some devotee about the holiness of ArasaMaram. It is there in one of the articles in this blog itself. Hence we can just pray the homam agni. Jaya Jaya Shankara. Hara Hara Shankara.

Ram Ram. I was personally there during the mahaperiyava jayanthi and i knew it was taken by a lad in a tab, who doesn’t have knowledge of photoshop. Again, it is upto people to believe whether it is photoshop or natural happening.
I certainly believe it is mahaperiyava and eswaran anugraham.

Dear Shri Sai Anna – Thank you so much sharing. Completely second your thoughts. Adiyen had planned to attend to this but couldn’t do it. But I spoke to Shri Ravi mama after the vaibhavam & he was discussing in length about the 10 days of Shri Shri Shri Mahaperiyava Aradhana vaibhavam. He was completely ecstatic about the “Agni Siva Lingam” & mentioning it was all HH’s Leela & HIS blessings to everyone, especially Chandi Homam being held @ last day of the Aradhana vaibhavam. It definitely instils Siva (Periyava) Bhakthi in our mind. All are blessed. Ram Ram
Sorry, it is very obvious that this image has been doctored. We do not need these kinds of photos to enhance our bhakthi towards Periyava.
I am confused….. Who is right?,,,,,, but one thing is true that this does invokes Shiva Smaran in us.
