பணக்காரர்களை நம்பித்தான் ஸோஷல் ஸர்வீஸ் என்று வைத்துக் கொள்ளவே கூடாது. அவர்களாகவே காதில் விழுந்து கூப்பிட்டுக் கொடுத்தால் தாராளமாகவே வாங்கிக் கொள்ளலாம். நாமாகப் போய் பிடுங்கி எடுக்கக் கூடாது என்று தோன்றுகிறது. செலவுக்கு என்ன செய்வதென்றால், பணக்காரனைத் தான் நம்பிக் கொண்டிருப்பது என்றில்லாமல், அவனவனும் ஒரு காலணாவாவது கொடுக்க வேண்டும். பணக்காரனும் சரீரத்தால் உழைக்க வேண்டும்; ஏழையும் திரவியத்தால் துளி உதவி பண்ண வேண்டும். இதுதான் நிஜமான த்யாகம். பணக்காரனை அதிகப் பணம் கேட்கவே கூடாது என்று எனக்கு அபிப்ராயம். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்
Any social service should not be dependent on rich people. If they, on their own contribute some funds, it can be accepted. But they should not be compelled to give money. If each person donates even a little, then the costs of the service can be met. The rich man should also physically involve himself in whatever task is being performed. .
