சிவன் கோயில் அர்ச்சகர்

பெரியவா சரணம்.

முசிறியில் சிவன் கோயிலில் அர்ச்சகர் அவர். சொற்ப வருமானம். அவர் மனைவிக்கோ ஈஸ்வரன் மீது இருந்த பக்தியை விட காஞ்சி முனிவர் மீது பக்தி அதிகம். சதா சர்வகாலமும் மகா பெரியவாளை மனதால் ஜெபித்துக் கொண்டே இருப்பார்.

இந்தத் தம்பதியின் ஒரே பெண்ணிற்கு வரன் குதிர்ந்தது. ‘கோயில் காணிக்கையைக் கொண்டு குடும்பம் நடத்துவதற்கே சிரமமாக இருக்கிறது இந்திலையில் மகளின் திருமணத்தை நடத்த வேண்டுமே’ என கவலை கொண்டனர்.

காஞ்சியில் மகானைத் தரிசித்த பிறகே தன் தொழிலைத் தொடங்கும் விசைத்தறி அதிபர் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். அவர் பெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்கு வந்த போது அவரை அருகே அழைத்த பெரியவா, “எனக்காக நீ ஒரு காரியம் செய்யணுமே!” என்றார். “சொல்லுங்கள் காத்திருக்கிறேன்” என பணிவுடன் கூறினார் விசைத்தறி அதிபர்.

மகான் நிதானமாகச் சொன்னார்: “முசிறியில் ஒரு ஈஸ்வரன் கோயில் இருக்கிறது. அங்குள்ள அர்ச்சகர் பரம ஏழை! அவர் பெண்ணுக்குத் திருமணம் நிச்சயமாகி இருக்கிறது. நீ அங்கு போய் தங்கி, அந்தப் பெண்ணின் திருமணத்தை நல்லபடியாக முடித்துக் கொடுத்து விட்டு வா!” “அப்படியே செய்கிறேன்!” என்று மகானை வணங்கி விடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டார்.

திருச்சியில் உள்ள தன் பிரதிநிதிகளை அனுப்பி விசாரித்து, நேராக குருக்கள் வீட்டுக்குப் போய், “நாங்கள் காஞ்சி மகான் உத்தரவுப்படி வந்திருக்கிறோம். உங்கள் பெண்ணின் திருமணத்தை நல்லவிதமாக நடத்தித் தரச் சொல்லி உத்தரவிட்டிருக்கிறார்” என்று சுருக்காமாகச் சொன்னவர்கள் ‘மட மட’ வென காரியங்களைக் கவனித்தனர். ஊரார் வியக்கும் படி திருமனம் வெகு விமரிசையாக நடைபெற்றது.

இங்கு முக்கியமான விஷயம் என்னவென்றால், பெரியவா பக்தையான குருக்களின் மனைவி, தன் வாழ்நாளில் ஒரு தடவை கூட பெரியவாளை நேரில் தரிசித்தது கிடையாது!!

Pranams to MahaPeriyava.

This is about a Shiva temple Priest at Musiri. ( near Trichy ) His earnings were very meagre. But his wife’s devotion towards MahaPeriyava was larger than the Lord Easwaran himself. She always used to meditate on MahaPeriyava immaterial of time.

This couple’s only daughter’s marriage alliance got fixed. They were worried about conducting their daughter’s marriage since it was difficult to even run the family with the Temple offerings.

Meanwhile, there was a power loom owner who always commenced his business only after having dharshan of  MahaPeriyava at Kanchi. When he had come for MahaPeriyava’s dharshan, MahaPeriyava called near him and said…

” You have to do something for my sake”.

” Tell me, I am waiting”, politely said the power loom owner.

MahaPeriyava relaxedly said… ” There is a Easwaran Temple at Musiri. The Archaka ( Priest ) there is very poor. His daughter’s marriage has been fixed. You go there, stay and conduct the marriage in a fine manner and be back “.

The powerloom owner bowed before MahaPeriyava and said,   ” Will do so as it is “, took permission and left.

He sent his deputies at Trichy to enquire. They went straight to the Gurukkal’s ( Priest ) house and briefed him saying,  ” We have come on the orders of Kanchi Mahaan to conduct your daughter’s marriage in a fine manner “, and started organizing the arrangements in a lightning speed. The marriage was conducted in a grand manner to the utter surprise of the people of the Town.

The important subject to be noted here is…’ The Gurukkal’s wife, who is a devotee of MahaPeriyava  had never had his dharshan in person even once in her lifetime.

Truly SUPREME is our MahaPeriyava.
