“அளவிலா விளையாட்டுடையான்”
 

தவ வலிமையில் சுகபிரம்மரிஷி அவர்களோடு ஒப்பிடும் மேன்மை கொண்டு சாட்சாத் சர்வேஸ்வரரே ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் திரு அவதாரமாய் உலகோய் உய்ய திகழ்ந்தருளுகிறார்.

“அவாளுக்கு தெரியாதது ஒண்ணுமில்லே” என்று அம்மகானின் அவதார ரகசியம் புரிந்த பக்தர்கள் அனுபவித்து கூறும் வார்த்தைகள் அத்தனையும் சத்தியமே. ஞாபகசக்தி என்பதற்கு அப்பாற்பட்டு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் தன் சக்தியை வெளிப்படுத்தி காட்டிய சம்பவங்கள் பல பக்தர்களின் அனுபவமாக அமைகின்றன. இதை அனுபவித்த ஒரு பக்தரின் அனுபவம் இது.

கோதாவரி மாவட்டத்தில் ஸ்ரீ பிபத்திரி கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி சாஸ்திரிகளெனும் பண்டிதரின் மகனாய், மூன்றே வயது பாலகனாக இவர் 1938 ம் வருஷம் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளை தரிசிக்கும் பாக்யம் பெற்றார்.

அந்த மூன்று வயது சிறுவனுக்கு ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா போடகாட்லபள்ளி என்ற கிராமத்திற்கு விஜயம் செய்தது கூட தன் தகப்பனார் சொல்லித்தான் தெரிந்திருக்கமுடியும். அச்சிறுவயதில் இவருக்கு பெரியவா தரிசனமும் அத்தனை மனதில் பதிந்து நினைவு கூறும் வகையில் அமையவில்லை. மூன்று நாட்கள் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அவர்கள் இல்லத்தில் தங்கியிருந்தார்.

பின் 45 ஆண்டுகள் ஓடிவிட்டன. அப்போது இவர் 48 வயதை கடந்த முதியவர்.

இவர் சென்னையிலிருந்தபோது இவருடைய பால்ய சினேகிதரான வேதபண்டிதர் ஒருவர் காஞ்சிபுரம் போகிறவழியில் இவருடைய வீட்டிற்கு வந்தார். இவரை ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளை தரிசிக்க வரமுடியுமா என்று அழைத்தார்.

இவரும் உடனே ஒப்புக் கொண்டார். இவர் பெண்ணுக்கு திருமணம் நிச்சயிக்கப்பட்டிருந்ததால், கல்யாண பத்திரிகையோடு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் ஆசீர்வாதம் வாங்க சந்தர்ப்பம் கிடைத்த மகிழ்ச்சியோடு கிளம்பினார்.

நாற்பத்தைந்து வருடங்களாக தான் இழந்துவிட்ட ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாதரிசன பாக்யம் இப்போது கிட்டும்படியாகியதில் அவருக்கு ஆனந்தம்.

காஞ்சி சென்ற போது மாலை நாலு மணி. சுமார் நூறு பக்தர்கள் காத்திருக்க இவர் ஒரு ஓரமாக நின்றுக் கொண்டிருந்தார். ஒரு மூங்கில் தடுப்பிற்கு உள்ளே ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா அமர்ந்து தரிசனம் கொடுக்க ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது.

ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவா வந்து அமர்ந்தவுடன் அவருடைய திருபார்வை பக்தர்களையெல்லாம் சுற்றியது. அப்போது இவரை குறிப்பிட்டு மூங்கில் தடுப்பிற்கு உள்ளே வருமாறு மகான் கூறுவது போலிருந்தது. தன்னை கூப்பிட வாய்ப்பில்லை என்று இவர் நினைத்தார். வேறு யாரையோதான் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா குறிப்பிடவேண்டுமென்று அவர் எண்ணிக் கொண்டு அவரும் தேடினார். ஆனால் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளோ திரும்ப திரும்ப அவரையே தன் திருகரத்தால் சுட்டிக் காண்பித்தபடி இருந்ததில் அத்தனை பக்தர்களும் “உங்களைத்தான் பெரியவா கூப்பிடறா” என்று இவரிடம் சொன்னார்கள்.

இவர் உள்ளே சென்றார். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தமிழில் மிக மெல்லியதாக அருளியது இவருக்கு தமிழ் தெரியாததால் புரியவில்லை. உடனே அருகில் இருந்தவர் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சொல்வதை இவரை மொழியில் சொல்ல தொடங்கினார்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எடுத்த எடுப்பில் “உன்னை எனக்கு தெரியும். இதுக்கு முன்னாலே பார்த்திருக்கேன்…நீ யாரு?” என்றவுடன் இவர் மனதில் ஆச்சர்யமும் சந்தேகமுமாக கலந்த எண்ணங்கள் ஓடின.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு எப்படி பதில் சொல்வதென்று இவருக்கு தெரியவில்லை. 1933க்கு பிறகு 45 வருடங்களாக ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை இவர் தரிசித்ததில்லை. அதனால் எப்படி பதில் சொல்வதென்று தடுமாற்றம்.

பின்பு சுதாரித்துக் கொண்டவராக “என் பேர் ஹரிபிரசாத். பிபத்திரி கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி சாஸ்திரிகளோட பையன்” என்று பதில் அளித்து நின்றார்.

உடனே ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா “உங்க அப்பாவுக்கு ஸ்ரீமுகம் கொடுத்திருக்கேனே உனக்கு தெரியுமா?” என்று ஒரு நொடியில் இவருடைய வாழ்க்கை முழுவதையும் உணர்ந்து கொண்டவராக வினவினார்.

இவர் ஆச்சர்யத்தோடு “ஆமாம்! எனக்குத் தெரியும்” என்றார். சற்றும் தாமதிக்காமல் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா மடமடவென்று அந்த கிராமத்தை பற்றி ஒவ்வொரு அம்சமாக விவரிக்கத் தொடங்கிவிட்டார். தான் அங்கு தங்கியிருந்த இடத்தையும் அந்த ஊரின் சமஸ்கிருதம் மற்றும் வேத பண்டிதர்களை பற்றியும் ஒன்றையும் விடாமல் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கேட்க, கேட்க இவருக்கு அது வெறும் “ஞாபகசக்தி” யால் மட்டுமல்ல என்பது தெளிவாக புரிந்துவிட்டது.

சுமார் 45 நிமிடங்களாக, 45 வருடத்திற்கு முன்பு தன் புனிதயாத்திரையில் திருபாதங்கள் பட்ட பல்லாயிர கணக்கான சிறுகிராமங்களில் ஒன்றான போடாகட்லபள்ளியை பற்றியும், அங்கே வசித்தவர்களின் பெயர் முதற்கொண்டு ஒவ்வொரு விபரத்தையும் இத்தனை விரிவாக மகான் கேட்க சாட்சாத் ஈஸ்வரரே இவர் என்பது பக்தருக்கு தெளிவாகிவிட்டது.

1938 இல் இந்த பக்கதரின் தந்தையான ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி சாஸ்திரிகளின் அனுபவமும் இப்போது அவர் சிந்தனைக்கு வந்தது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அந்த கிராமத்தில் எழுந்தருளியபோது மகானுக்கு உண்டான சௌகர்யங்களை ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி சாஸ்திரிகள்தான் கவனித்துக் கொண்டார். ஒரு நாள் மதியம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்காக இவர் ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்திருந்தார். ஊர் மக்கள் எல்லோரும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் வருகையை எதிர்நோக்கி காத்திருந்தனர்.

ஒரு பெரிய மண்டபத்தில் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தரிசனம் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்க சுமார் நூறுபேர்கள் தரிசிக்க ஏதுவான அந்த மண்டபம் நிறைந்து வழிந்தது.

ஏனோ தெரியவில்லை? ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சடாலென்று எழுந்துக் கொண்டார். விடுவிடுவென பக்கத்திலிருந்த தன் அறைக்குள் சென்றுவிட்டார். சாஸ்திரிகளுக்கு கவலையாகிவிட்டது. தான் ஏதாவது தவறு செய்துவிட்டோமோ அது ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை பாதிப்பதுபோல் ஆக்கிவிட்டதோ என்று பலவாறு எண்ணங்களை கொண்டு தவித்தார். ஆனால் சரிபார்த்ததில் அப்படி ஒன்றும் குறை இருப்பதாக புலப்படவில்லை.

பின் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளையே இதுபற்றி கேட்டுவிட துணிந்தார். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை அணுகி தான் செய்த ஏற்பாடுகளில் ஏதேனும் குற்றமிருந்தால் மன்னித்தருள வேண்டுமென விண்ணப்பித்து நின்றார்.

ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் சர்வக்ஞர் அதற்கு சொன்ன பதில் சற்று வியப்பாக இருந்தது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்கு கூடி இருந்தவர்களுள் ஒருவருக்கு தீட்டு வந்துவிட்டதாகவும் அவரை மண்டபத்திலிருந்து வெளியேற்றும்படியும் மகான் குறிப்பிட்டபோது சாஸ்திரிகளுக்கு அது சாத்யமில்லையென்று தோன்றியது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்கு கூடியிருந்த அனைவரையும் ஒவ்வொருவராக சாஸ்திரிகள் விசாரித்தார். யாருக்காவது உறவினர்கள் சமீபத்தில் இறந்து அவர்களுக்கு “தீண்டல்” இருக்கிறதோ என்று கேட்டபோது யாரும் இல்லவே இல்லை என்று மறுத்துவிட்டனர்.

திரும்பவும் செய்வதறியாமல் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் போய் அப்படி யாருக்கும் தீட்டு இருப்பதாக தெரியவில்லையே என்றார். ஆனால் இம்முறை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் எல்லாமுமறிந்த மகாஞானி சில அங்க அடையாளங்களை சொல்லி அப்படி ஒருவரிடம் போய் மண்டபத்திலிருந்து வெளியே சென்றுவிடுமாறு சொல்ல சொன்னார்.

இப்படி அங்க அடையாளம் கொண்டவர் சொந்த அத்தையின் கணவராக இருந்ததில், சாஸ்திரிகள் அவரிடம்போய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சொன்னதை கூறினார். மண்டபத்தில் பின்னால் நின்று கொண்டிருந்த அவர் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா என் இப்படி அருளினார் என்று புரியாமல் தெய்வகட்டளையின் படி வெளியேறி தன் இல்லத்திற்கு சென்றார்.

அங்கே சென்றபோது அந்த திருவாக்கின் மகிமை புரிந்தது. அவர் வீட்டில் அவருடைய பந்துகளில் ஒருவரின் மறைவு செய்தி காத்திருந்தது எல்லாம் வல்ல தெய்வமாய் அருளும் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளுக்கு இந்த செய்தி எப்படி தெரிந்திருக்குமென்று அவரோ சாஸ்திரிகளோ வியந்திருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லைதான்.

“இன்னும் நிறைய காயத்ரி பண்ணு”

ஸ்ரீ அனந்தராம தீட்சதரின் பக்தர் ஒருவர். தீட்சதரின் உபன்யாசத்தை கேட்டு அதன்படி காயத்ரி மந்திரத்தை சகஸ்ர ஆவர்தியாக செய்துவந்தார். எல்லா பாவங்களும் பாம்பின் சட்டையை போல அகல தினமும் வீட்டிற்கு வெளியே ஒரு புனிதமான இடத்தில் ஒரு மாதகாலம் தொடர்ந்து மனம் ஒன்றி காயத்ரி ஜபத்தை சகஸ்ர ஆவர்த்தி செய்வது பயன்தரும் என்பது தீட்சதர் அவர்களின் உபதேசங்களாக பக்தர் கேட்டுவிட்டு இதை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்திருந்தார் (இதை படிக்கும் அன்பர்கள் கடைபிடித்து நற்பயன் பெற ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அருளட்டும்).

முப்பது நாட்கள் இந்த ஜபத்தை செய்து முடித்தவர் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா குடிகொண்டிருந்த கலவைக்கு தரிசனத்துக்கு சென்றார். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் குரு மற்றும் பரமகுரு அதிஷ்டானங்கள் அமைந்துள்ள கலவையில் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கிழக்கு புரமாக இருந்தபோது இந்த பக்தர் அதிஷ்டானங்களை வலம் வந்தார்.

பக்தர் யாரிடமும் எதையும் பேசவில்லை. தான் யாரென்றும் சொல்லவில்லை. மௌனமாக பிரதட்சனம் வந்தவருக்கு கிழக்கு கோடிக்கு வந்தபோது ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா, தீட்சதர் பற்றி யாரிடமோ சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்ததை கேட்டு இன்ப அதிர்ச்சியாய் இருந்தது. தான் தீட்சதரின் உபதேசத்தை கேட்டு அதன்படி சகஸ்ர ஆவர்த்தியாக ஒரு மாதம் காயத்ரி செய்துவிட்டு வந்த இந்த சமயத்தில் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எல்லாம் தனக்கு தெரியுமென்று உணர்த்துவதுபோல தீட்சதரைப் பற்றி பேசுவது இவருக்கு வியப்பாயிருந்தது.

உடனே சுவற்றை பிடித்தபடி எட்டி, ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சொல்வதை அங்கிருந்தே இவர் கேட்க ஆரம்பித்தார். தீட்சதர் நித்யகர்மாவின் உயர்வைப்பற்றி சொன்னதையும், அதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தை ஊர் ஊராக சென்று எப்படி உபன்யாசமாய் ஜனங்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்தார் என்றும் வைதீக தர்மத்தை பற்றி அவர் உபதேசம் செய்தது ஜனங்கள் மத்தியில் நல்ல தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியதென்றும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எதிர்புறமாய் திரும்பியபடி யாரிடமோ சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்போது தீட்சதரின் உறவினர் ஒருவரின் பெயர் என்ன என்று தெரியாதுபோல அதை கேட்க திரும்புவது போல ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா திரும்பினார்.

கூடிநின்ற சிஷ்யர்களை பார்த்து ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அவர்கள் பின்னால் யாராவது நிற்கிறார்களா என்று கேட்டார். பின்னால் நின்றவர் நம் பக்தர்தான். உடனே இவரைப் பார்த்து “இன்னும் நிறைய காயத்ரி பண்ணு” என்று சொன்னபோது பக்தருக்கு மெய்சிலிர்த்தது. தான் ஒன்றையும் யாரிடமும் சொல்லாதபோது, தன்னைப்பற்றி யாவையும் அறிந்தவராய் ஸ்ரீ மகான் இப்படி சொன்னபோது சாட்சாத் ஈஸ்வரராய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இவருக்கு காட்சியருளினார்.

பக்தர் தான் சேலத்தில் தீட்சதர் அதிஷ்டானத்தில் ஜபம் செய்வதாக சொன்னபோது தன் வலகரத்தை திருமார்பில் வைத்து, பிறைசூடிய சிரத்தை மகான் அசைத்து தனக்கு எல்லாம் தெரியும் என்பதுபோல மெல்லிய புன்னகை உதிர்த்தார்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட மகிமைவாய்ந்த தெய்வம் நமக்கெல்லாம் சர்வமங்களங்களையும், சர்வ ஐஸ்வர்யங்களையும் மனசாந்தியையும் அருள காத்திருக்கும் போது அந்த பெருந்தெய்வத்திடம் நாம் கொள்ளும் பக்தி அந்த பெருங்கருணைக்கு நாமும் பாத்திரமாக செய்யும் என்பது திண்ணமல்லவா.

Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava Mahimai! (7-4-2007)

“Boundless is His play”

Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, an Avatara purusha who can be compared to Sri Sukha Brahma Rishi because of the strength and power of His penance, has been blessing everyone in this world.

When devotees, who knew the secret of His Avatara, say, “There is nothing that He does not know”, it is very true. There were many instances where Sri Sri Sri Periyava revealed He had powers more than just the “memory power”. Here is an experience of a devotee.

This devotee, son of Sri Bibadri Krishnamoorthy Sastrigal’s in Godavari district, had the fortune of having Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava’s darshan, at the age of 3 in the year 1938.

As he was a 3 year old kid, he would have known about Sri Maha Periyava’s visit to Bodakatlapalli village only by his father telling him. Sri Periyava’s darshan at that tender age did not register in his mind. Sri Periyava had camped in his house for three days.

45 years passed by. Now, he is 48 years old. When he was in Chennai, one of his friends, a Veda Pandit, came to see him on the way to Kanchipuram and also asked if he wanted to join him to have Sri Maha Periyava’s darshan.

He immediately agreed and started. As his daughter’s marriage was just fixed, he was happy about the opportunity to give the invitation and also get the blessings from Sri Sri Sri Periyava.

He was delighted that he is getting the fortune of getting Sri Periyava’s darshan, which he lost and could not get it for the last 45 years.

When they reached Kanchipuram, it was around 4 in the evening. There were around 100 devotees waiting for Sri Periyava’s darshan. He went and stood in one of the corners. There was an arrangement that Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava would be giving darshan from inside a bamboo partition.

As soon as Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava came and sat, He looked around all the devotees. Then, he felt as if the Mahan is asking him to come inside the bamboo partition. But, he thought that it is not possible and also believed that Sri Periyava must be calling someone else and he also searched for that person. But, as Sri Periyava was repeatedly pointing towards him, all the other devotees told him, “Periyava is calling you only”.

He went inside. Sri Periyava spoke very mildly in Tamizh, but he did not understand anything as he did not know Tamizh. Immediately, a person standing beside him started translating for him all that Sri Periyava told.

When Sri Periyava started off by saying “I know you. I have seen you before. Who are you?” he was awestruck as well as confused.

He did not know how to answer Sri Periyava. After 1933, he did not have Sri Periyava’s darshan for the next 45 years. So, he was confused on how to answer.

Then, slowly answered, “My name is Hariprasad. Bibadri Krishnamoorthy Sastrigal’s son”.

Without a pause, Sri Periyava, having realized his entire life story, told, “I have given Sri Mukham to your father. Do you know that?”

With a surprised look, he told, “Yes! I remember”. Immediately, Sri Periyava started explaining all the features of that village. When Sri Periyava kept telling about the place where He camped and started asking about every Sanskrit and Veda Pandits in that village, he realized that it is not possible with just Sri Periyava’s “memory power”.

Now, he also remembered an incident that happened to his father Sri Krishnamoorthy Sastrigal in 1938.

When Sri Periyava camped in their village, Sri Krishnamoorthy Sastrigal took care of all the facilities. Sastrigal had arranged for Periyava’s darshan on one afternoon. Entire village was awaiting Sri Periyava’s arrival.

Sri Periyava was giving darshan and blessing everyone in a big hall that could accommodate around 100 people and the hall was overflowing with devotees.

Nobody knew why. Suddenly Sri Periyava stood up. He walked swiftly towards His room. Sastrigal was worried thinking whether he did some mistake in the arrangements and it affected Sri Periyava. But, when he examined everything, he could not find any mistake.

So, he gained courage to ask Sri Periyava about the same. He went near Sri Periyava and pleaded that Sri Periyava should pardon him if he had committed any mistake in any of the arrangements.

The response that Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, a Sarvagna, gave was startling. Sri Periyava told that one of the devotees who had come for darshan, was impure and asked Sastrigal to tell him to be away from others. But, Sastrigal thought that it was not possible for someone impure to come there.

But, he went and enquired each and every devotee asking if any of their relatives passed away recently. Everyone answered in negative.

Sastrigal, without knowing what to do, went back to Sri Periyava and told there is no one who is impure due to death in their family. But, this time Sri Maha Periyava, a Maha Gnani, who knows everything, told Sastrigal few identification marks about the person and asked him to request to go out of that hall.

Sastrigal recognized that Sri Periyava was telling his aunt’s husband. He went and told him what Sri Periyava told. His aunt’s husband who was standing at the end of that hall, without understanding the reason for what Sri Periyava told, moved out and went to his house, by accepting His words as an order from God.

When he reached home, he realized the words of Sri Periyava. Everyone at his house were waiting with a news that one of his relatives passed away. As they knew Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava knows everything, would not have not got surprised that Sri Periyava knew this news without anyone telling Him.

“DO MORE GAYATHRI”

One of Sri Anantharama Deekshithar’s devotee, after listening to his discourses, was doing Sahasra Aavarthi (repetition) Gayathri Japam. He started doing this after hearing Deekshitar say that when one does Gayathri Japam for 1 month like this in a secluded place by concentrating on the mantra, all the sins would go away like a snake getting rid of its skin (Let Sri Periyava bless all the devotees who starts to follow this after reading this incident).

After doing it for 30 days, he went to Kalavai for having Periyava’s darshan. This devotee circumambulated Sri Periyava’s Guru and Parama Guru’s adhistanams when Sri Periyava was sitting towards eastern direction in Kalavai.

This devotee did not talk to anyone. Neither had he introduced himself to anyone. While he was circumambulating silently, when he reached east corner, he heard that Periyava was talking to someone about Deekshithar and became happily surprised to listen to it. While he came there to have Sri Periyava’s darshan after completing 30 days of Sahasra Gayathri japam by listening to Deekshithar’s upanyasam, he was surprised to listen to Sri Periyava talking about Deekshithar, to make him realize that Sri Periyava knows everything.

Immediately, he started listening to what Periyava was telling. Sri Periyava was explaining it to someone on how Deekshithar was stressing the importance of Nithya Karma, the way he is doing upanyasam in various places about the same, the way it has created impact among general public. Then, Sri Periyava, as if He forgot one of Deekshithar’s relative’s name and to ask someone about the same, He turned back.

After turning back, He asked His sishyas, if there is anyone standing behind them. They told it was one of His devotees. Immediately, by looking at this devotee, when Periyava told, “Do more Gayathri”, he got stunned. When he did not tell anything about him to anyone, when Sri Periyava told him this as if He knew everything about him, this devotee saw Sri Periyava as “Sakshat Ishwara”.

When this devotee told that he is doing japam in Deekshithar’s adishtanam in Salem, he kept his right hand in His heart and nodded His head with a smile to denote that He knows everything.

When such a God is ready to bless us with all prosperity, happiness and calmness of mind, isn’t it true that if we do bhakthi towards this God, we will also be recipients of that grace?
