விவாஹமும், பஞ்ச மஹா யக்ஞங்களும், தலைக்கு ஏழேழாக உள்ள பாக-ஹவிர்-ஸோம யக்ஞங்கள் இருபத்தியொன்றும் நைஷ்டிக பிரம்மசாரிகளுக்கும் நேரே பிரம்மச்சரியத்திலிருந்து துரீயாச்ரமத்துக்கு [நாலாவது ஆசிரமமான துறவறத்துக்கு]ப் போனவர்களுக்கும் இல்லாமல் போகிறது. அதாவது நாற்பது ஸம்ஸ்காரத்தில் பேர் பாதிக்கு மேல் அவர்களுக்கு இல்லாமல் போகிறது. இவை இல்லாமலே அந்தஃகரணம் சுத்தியடைகிற அளவுக்கு அவர்கள் பக்குவமாகியிருக்கவேண்டும். அதனால் இதை ‘எக்ஸெப்ஷனல் கேஸ்’கள் (விதிவிலக்கானவை, அசாதாரணமானவை) என்றே சொல்லவேண்டும். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

Naishtika brahmacharins do not have to perform the following samskaras: marriage, the five mahayajnas, the seven Bagha Yajnas, the seven Havir Yajnas and the seven Soma Yajnas.
