ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவர்களின் தினுசு தினுசான போட்டோக்களை பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். அவர் ஆசிர்வதிக்கும் முத்திரைகளையும் கண்டு களித்திருக்கிறேன். என் சஹோதரி குடும்பத்தினர், மற்றும் நண்பர்கள் உதவியால் 4, 5 முறை அவர்களை காஞ்சி மடம் சென்று தரிசித்தும் இருக்கிறேன். ஒரு முறை கும்பகோணம் ஸ்ரீ வேம்புரதினம் என்ற நண்பருடன் அருகிலுள்ள நிறைய க்ஷேத்ரங்களுக்கு தரிசனம் செய்து விட்டு ஸ்ரீ மகாபெரியவாளையும் தரிசனம் செய்தேன். அவரை நேரில் தரிசித்தது போறாதென்று, அவர் தங்கிய அறைக்குள் நுழைந்ததும் பின்பக்கமாக போகலாம் வா என்று நண்பர் கூட்டி சென்றார். எனக்கு அதில் அவ்வளவாக உடன்பாடில்லை. அவர் அனுமதி இல்லாமல் தரிசிக்கமுடியுமா ? நான் இடுப்பில் அணிந்த சட்டை கழந்து கீழே விழ சப்தம் கேட்டது. இதுவரை காணாத காட்சியாக ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவர் அவர்கள் ஒரு ஈசிசேரில் அமர்ந்திருந்தார். சப்தம் கேட்டு எங்களை பார்த்தார். எல்லா வீட்டிலும் இருக்கும் ஒரு சாதாரண தாத்தா போல் காட்சி அளித்தார். தரிசித்து ஓடி வந்து விட்டோம்.

Maha Periyava’s favourite shrine! I have heard a lot about Elayathangudi Agama Silpa Sadas which Maha Periyava conducted. The village houses the Adhishtanam of Elayathangudi Periyava, Sri Maha Devendra Saraswathi Maha SwamigaL. SwamigaL chose this place for his Final “ILaippaaRal” according to Maha Periyava. He used to advise Devotees to have Dharshan at the Mahaan’s Adhishtaanam for getting mental peace.Elayathangudi Periyava’s 126th Aradhanai is on Panguni Amavasya, this year, it falls on Guru Vaaram, Thursday 7th April 2016 at the Shrine at Elayathangudi and Kanchi Sri Matham. This rare photo takes us to those great days about which most of us would not have had much personal experience, only we might have read about them. Great Dharshan of Maha Periyava at the Sadas. Thiruvachi at the back, Pulithol, Kiridathodu kooda sakshath Easwaran in a physical body Nadha brahmmamai!!! Thatched ceiling, nice dhombai as festoons. (nicely thought about simple decoration). What divinity would have prevailed! All those present were blessed souls!
