Sri Ganapathi Subramanian, one of Swamiji’s close sishyas/devotees sent me this email. After I got that email, I wanted to post it immediately but after starting first few pages of the pdf document, I couldn’t close it without finishing…..It is not an exaggeration if I say that each page is a treasure of teachings from swamiji and packed with so many incidents of Mahaperiyava! three incidents to quote – (1) How Mahaperiyava suddenly would call Angarai Periyava as “vaango pongo” only during the days when swamigal is doing Bagavatha Upanyasam with the bhaavam of swamigal as Sukar (2) Page #64, the power of praying Mahaperiyava (3) Page #91 – Periyava’s certificate on definitions..I am at page #91 – will finish this e-book in the next 20 mts for sure. Absolute treasure for all of us to read and know about (1) Mahaperiyava (2) Mooka Pancha Shati (3) Ramayanam (4) Value of life (5) Siva Sar (6) Mayavaram Periyava. Yet another time that I had a similar experience of not able to put a book down was when I was reading “Select verses from Viveka Choodamani” By Swami Dayananda Saraswathi Swamigal.
All Tamil readers – Do not miss to read this e-book.
For non-Tamil readers – I hope someone could translate this..This has 122 pages…not going to be easy to do the translation. If Swamigal wishes, it might happen too…

Mahesh, Swamigal was known as Sri Govinda Damodara Swamigal, and not just Damodara Swamigal. In one of the audio (and now the transcript) files, Sri Ganapathy Subramanian speaks about how Swamigal came to be called by this name.

Amazing experiences.Is there any way to listen to swamigal’s lecture on Ramayana and srimad bhagawadam..I would feel very much blessed to hear them.
One set of Swamigal’s Srimad Bhagawatham upanyasam recordings are available with Sri.V.Janaki Raman Mama. VJR mama can be contacted at 044-28587893. He is the trustee of the “Govinda Damodara Swamigal Adhishtanam Trust” who built and organize nithya puja, aradhanai at Swamigal’s adhishtanam at Pazhur. Trust has published many books on Sri Triplicane Periyava life and teachings. Unfortunately no recording of Swamigal’s Valmiki Ramayana pravachanam is available. There is no ashram for Him…His adishtanam is in Pazhur, near Trichy.
