காயத்ரீ ஜபம் பண்ணுவது எல்லாராலும் ஆகிற காரியந்தான். இதிலே ஜலத்தைத் தவிர வேறு திரவியம் வேண்டாம். சரீரப் பிரயாசையும் இல்லை. லகுவாகப் பரம சிரேயஸைத் தரும் ஸாதனம். ஆயுள் இருக்கிறவரைக்கும் ஸந்தியாவந்தனத்துக்கு லோபம் வராமல் பண்ணவேண்டும். காயத்ரீயை மாத்ரு ரூபமாக (தாய் வடிவமாக) உபாஸிக்க வேண்டும். பகவான் பலவிதமான ரூபங்களில் வந்து பக்தர்களுக்குக் கிருபை செய்கிறார். நம்மிடம் எல்லாரையும்விட அன்பாக இருப்பது மாதாதான். தாயாரிடம் எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் பயமில்லாமல் சொல்லலாம். பகவான் எல்லா ரூபமாக இருந்தாலும் மாதா ரூபமாக வந்தால் ரொம்பவும் ஹிதமாக இருக்கிறது. காயத்ரீயை அப்படிப்பட்ட மாதாவென்று வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

Gayathri-japa can be practised by all of us without much effort and without spending any money. All that you require is water. Sandhyavandana is indeed an easy means to ensure your well being. So long as there is life in you, you must perform it. Gayathri must be worshiped as a mother. The Lord appears in many forms to bestow his grace and compassion on his devotees. Mother loves us more than anybody else. We know no fear before her and talk to her freely.
