கிருஹஸ்தாச்ரமத்தில் இவன் முன்பு கற்றுக்கொண்ட வேதத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து ஓதியும் பிறர்களுக்கு ஓதுவித்தும் (கற்றுக் கொடுத்தும்) வரவேண்டும். அநேக யக்ஞங்களையும், ஒளபாஸனையையும் அக்னிமுகமாகப் பண்ண வேண்டும். பிரம்மசர்யத்தில் ஒருத்தனைச் சேர்ந்த ஸந்தியா வந்தனமும் கிருஹஸ்தாச்ரமத்தில் தொடர்கிறது. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

The householder has to continue to chant the Vedas he was taught as a brahmacharin. He has also to teach these scriptures, perform a number of sacrifices (Yagnas) and rites like Aupaasana; and Sandhyavandana continues in this ashram as well. – Pujya Sri Kanchi Maha Periyava
