Re-post:: Mahaperiyava Visual Namavali

Periyava_sitting_rare_bw.jpg

I created this in 2013 and due to lack of knowledge on a tool, I did not know how to extend the background song till the end of the movie. Although many liked this video, in the corner of my mind, this has been bothering me to perfect it. Looking back, find it too silly that I didn’t know this small thing. Now I know how to do it (may be) but had no time to do it.

Thanks to Sudarshan, who immediately volunteered to help me out with this fix and made it possible to repost this on this special Aradhana/Anusham day.

This is one of the projects that is close to my heart – spent lots of time to find an image for each namavali and make it too.

Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!

Enjoy!

  7. Hara Hara Shankara Jaya Jaya Shankara… May the voice & fame of Maha Periyava spread in all nook and corners of the world

  8. This promotes visual thinking and helps us understand the meaning and visualize mantras.
    Imagine how would it be if we have similar videos or images for the key veda mantras like rudra,chamakam and sookthams.

    My favorite one from this is series is “Om Avidhya Nashakaya Namaha!” I hope the Avidhya gained by all of us will take a back seat, thereby providing clarity in thinking and purity in our actions in 2016.
