வேதத்தில் ஸ்வாமியைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லும்போது ‘எதற்கு மேல் ஒன்றுங் கிடையாதோ அதுதான் ஸ்வாமி. எதற்குக் கீழே ஒன்றுங் கிடையாதோ அதுதான் ஸ்வாமி. மிகப் பெரியனவற்றுக்கெல்லாம் பெரியது ஸ்வாமி மிகச் சிறிய அணுவுக்கெல்லாம் அணுவானது ஸ்வாமி’ என்று வருகிறது. ஸ்வாமி என்பவர் மிகச் சிறியனவற்றுக்கெல்லாம் சிறியதாய் இருப்பவர் என்றால் என்ன அர்த்தம்? அவர்தாம் எல்லாமாய் இருக்கிறார். அதனால் அவரைத் தவிர வேறு ஒன்று இல்லாத நிலை வந்து விடுகிறது. சின்னதும் அவர்தான், பெரியதும் அவர்தான், சின்னதைக் காட்டிலும் சின்னதாக, பெரியதைக் காட்டிலும் பெரியதாக இருக்கிறவர் பட்ட கட்டையாக ஸ்தாணுவாக இருக்கிறார். அப்படி உட்கார்ந்திருப்பவர் காரியமே இல்லாமல் சாந்தமாக உட்கார்ந்திருப்பவர், ஆனந்தமாக உட்கார்ந்திருப்பவர் தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்
Vedas describe Swami as ‘Nothing above that and nothing below that is Swami’. Swami is the biggest of all as well the smallest atom of all atoms says Vedas. What does it mean by saying if Swami is the smallest of small? He is the one that is everywhere and all pervading. That is the reason there is nothing else apart from him. He is Small as well as Big.
