Nochiam Rajalakshmi Mami’s husband departed today for Vaikuntam

Nochiyam_Team

I am deeply saddened to inform you all that Smt Rajalakahmi Mami’s husband and founder of Kanchi Maamunivar trust at Nochiyam, Shri Vittal has passed away today on Vaikundam Ekadasi day around 11 am.

Many of you will know that Smt Rajalakshmi Vittal has undertaken the task of constructing a massive temple for Sri Lalita Maha Tripura Sundari with shrines for Vinayaka, Subramanya, Lord Dakshinamurthy, Veda Vysa, Adi Shankarar and Mahaperiyava in Nochiam, Tiruchi in Tamil Nadu.

What more need to be told to prove that mama has been fully blessed by Mahaperiyava as it is very evident that he left us all on vaikunta ekadasi day!

On behalf of the blog, our condolences to mami and her family.

  3. Indeed it is a great loss for us and the family. I was fortunate to spend few days with mama in the recent past for the first time, least expecting that would be the last time as well. May Maha Periava give mami and his family great strength to overcome this void.

  14. “Soul resting in peace” is not a concept followed in Sanatana Dharma. We can perhaps pray “May the soul attain better worlds”. For us death is just another birth — a whip to lash us towards attaining deathless state!

I shall look up Mami one of these days and pay my respects to her!

    • I have also been advise , Sir , like you mention that RIP etc is not as per Sanatana Dharma. Shivaloka /Vaikuntam Praapthi or Saayujyam Praapthi – these are more appropriate, I believe

  15. A noble soul as evidenced by the day of departure

  16. Ram Ram

My heartfelt condolences on the demise to all near and dear.. I pray god to give them the courage to face the situation and the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss. May the departed Soul rest in peace.

  17. EVEN IN THE HOUR OF GRIEF, THE GREATEST SOLACE IS THAT HE ATTAINED LORD’S LOTUS FEET ON VAIKUNTA EKADASI. EKADASI MARANAM……..DWADISI DAKANAM!

BUT OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO MAMI.

  18. Our deepest condolences to bereaved family members and May the Soul rest in peace..
