தருமம் நம்முடைய மதம் என்னும் மரத்தின் வேர். பக்தியும், ஞானமும் அதன் மலர்கள், பழங்கள். அந்த வேர் காய்ந்து போகாமல் காப்பது நம் கடமை. மிகப் பரவலான கருத்தொற்றுமையின் அடிப்படையில் தருமத்தை பாதுகாப்பதற்கான பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும். இதற்கு ஓரளவு தியாகம் தேவைப்படுகிறது.

Dharma is the root of our tree (religion). Bhakthi, Gnana are the flowers and fruit of that tree. Our duty is to ensure the root does not go dry. We should get together to perform activities to ensure our Dharma is protected. This requires some level of sacrifice. – Sri Kanchi Maha Periyava.
