Many faces of Periyava!

Thanks to Sri Venkatasubramanian for the photos!

There are five things that does not bore no matter how many times we see – (1) cloud (2) ocean/waves (3) cloud (4) elephant and  there is one more – I forgot. I guess we should have Periyava in this list. We never get bored of seeing Periyava! I think we must be unique sets of people who have the photo of an 80-year old Periyava as wallpaper in our phones than our family members!!! Crazy love for Periyava!!

Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!

  1. We are all Periyava Piththus (tamil word). I hope i am not going against the shastras by saying – this is enough to take us to our destination

  2. yes true.I always think to do namaskaram for all people who are lived in the period of periyava rajyam(another ramarajyam).

  3. Maha Periyava ThiruvadigaLe Charanam! Maha Periyava Dharshan and readings from His Upanyaasams and listening to Maha Periyava Experiences by Devotees are all activities which make no one feel tired. All get energised and become joyful only.In your list, perhaps Steam Engine and Baby’s Smile could be added. Cloud is repeated. Maha Periyava is always there in the list! Hara Hara Shanakara, Jaya Jaya Shankara!

  4. Very well said, Sir! Completely agree with you on this. Jaya Jaya Shankara ! Hara Hara Shankara! Ram Ram Ram!

  5. Dear Mahesh

Just to clarify, We will not get bored when we see the full moon and also a child. Therefore, the five things which we will not get bored is 1) Agayam, 2) Nilavu, 3) Kadal, 4) Yanai , 5) Kuzhandai. Periyava is nadamadum kadavul and obviously we will like to see many number of times.

  6. Absolutely right, How many times we see Sri Periyava photos, it is a state of Ecstasy anandha kanneer only,

I forgot the name of the author of this poem about Sri Periyava

    Sri Periyava Saranam

  7. Thanks to Sri Venkatasubramanian for the photos!

There are five things that does not bore no matter how many times we see he mentioned – is confusing. he repeated cloud twice.

    I learnt :

    1. Moon
    2. Sea
    3. Elephant
    4. Mahaperiva

I dont think we have 5.

Anyhow sorry if I am wrong!!!!!!
